Whenever I see younger people playing and enjoying Franks music it always makes me well up. He would be pleased and might even raise a single eyebrow in quiet praise ;) great job everyone xx
I'm only one tune into it and I dig it already! I've owned and heard most of Frank's albums and these folks do capture the spirit of the music! Very, very well done, folks!! Respect.
How is this even possible? So together! I'm not even a musician, but this version of Son of Mr Green Genes Is just out of this world! The organist! The sax! the violin or viola player! Surely there is some malfunction in the matrix, because this is too f'ing good to be true. GROOVE'N IT ON LADIES AND GENTERS, HOLY SHID
Wow! You guys are AMAZING !!! I'm a FZ 'nut' since, like, 1970...... And, you guys add a whole dimension to his original.... FANTASTIC !! Thank you and thank you, again! So fresh, so pure, so concise and so musically 'eloquent'! Lovely.
Sounds great! Mr Green Jeans, King Kong, Little Umbrellas, and Peaches en Regalia were all tunes that I tried to play fifty years ago in my first bands. It’s nice to see Frank’s music being explored by yet another talented generation of musicians.
Bravo! So well done. Performances this good deserve to be recorded on a better format than a freakin' iPhone. Frank recorded everything professionally, even sound checks.
This just popped into my browser. Wonderful playing. I always enjoy Zappa music played by other people especially when they play in the spirit of Frank but add in their own interpretations. Brilliant!!
Wonderful! Thanks for playing and sharing! I can live with the portrait format - I just close my eyes and REALLY enjoy the music :-) You guys are doing credit to FZ's legacy.
These people go well beyond the expectations of a cover band. That woman on the violin (or fiddle), for example, is every bit as good as Sugar Cane Harris.
One of my favourite albums of all time and you did it great justice. Thank goodness you ARE keeping the illusion of freedom alive; Frank would be so proud. GBG NO EDITS.- but he would never use the F word on stage.
Zappa himself should be gratefull for this interpretation. Frank You! I loved that share. At least, hope that Deezel or others sould be ..., cause It is unknown that they are interpreting this genius person as were Father of a lot as you've done. I never heard an interpretation as good as thes ones... Warmest as Dweezil cause he's colder from my point of vue. This group must register an album with the title "You must play that with pleasure". I'm so grtateful for assisting of this performance that without Frank, nothing really could happened to me. But you lighted me up really hot as I've never been after Him. Hot album for hot musicians!
Nice moments here. I wish the drum solo in "It Must Be A Camel" was closer to the melodic solo found on the original record but hey, the fact that you even attempted to play this record is much appreciated.
As Rick said near the end, in today's world it is nice to see people still assemble to listen to and appreciate music like this. (However, I doubt anyone there is under 40. LOL)
"I miss vinyl records?" They're still around, get your damn head out of the sand. There's like 4 record shops within a 2 mile radius of me here in Columbus. Bought an excellent player with great speakers and a kickass preamp.
Thx for keeping FZ’s music alive. Good renditions of his music!

7 months ago I started digging into Frank Zappa's work. There hasn't been a day when I haven't discovered a new sound.
Been listening to him since the mothers of invention first album, love him, go see Dweezil do his dads stuff, they are totally amazing @jlrp9929
These compositions were difficult enough for the original band to perform, and here we have an incredible cover. Great job!
well, my work can wait 45 min

Such a great sound the violin and sax together. Like Brian Wilson said it becomes a whole other instrument.
I attended this fantastic show. Chris and his bandmates are some of the finest musicians anywhere and performed one of my favorite albums beautifully.

Excellently Performed.
He was an intricate composer.
I was in my bedroom as a teenager and listened Hot rats so often, also Absolutely free, Grand wazoo, etc.
For me who lived in the sixties it

Rick Vines- Who are the players in this ensemble playing Hot Rats? Does the band have a name? Where are they from?
It's Chris Siebold. A Chicago guitar player and a band he put together. They are doing it tomorrow at Reggies: www.reggieslive.com/
It your Meat!^*
What is the song they are covering.
I saw the light, Todd Rundgren, great now i can sleep.
Dweezil is also good..
Frank never said fuck on stage....
You can hear him say it on Zappa in New York, unless this comment was facetious
Shame they shot with a cell phone.
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
