Cybex has launched its first American swivel convertible car seat! The Sirona S car seat is designed to easily switch from rear-facing to forward-facing on a swivel mechanism, so you only have to install the seat once. The car seat also features a load leg and Linear Side Impact Protection to ensure ultimate safety in the event of a crash.

I was hesitant to purchase an open box carseat but it came in excellent condition and saved $35. Box was damaged as stated before I purchased it, but the ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxIxQe7nPH74g_xtI5NgiE9-zpGNkfgovw car seat looks brand new and I don't think it was ever used. I will update of course if I have any issues with this carseat but I don't think I will. Also it is surprisingly lightweight, the handle feels secure unlike my previous EvenFlo that was gifted to us. Love it !
I am so pleased that someone is making a swivel seat! I have a similar seat in the UK for when we visit grandparents and I love it! I was just about to buy an expensive convertible but now I am going to buy a cheap one to carry over until this comes out. The base is slightly different to my UK seat but we never have issues with crumbs etc getting in the mechanism. They are awesome, so much easier to get your kid in and out
When you guys get this in store I’d love to see it installed in a midsize vehicle! Id actually love that for any car seat videos. It’s always an issue for me to find a car seat that fits well in my car so having a model to compare to would be great!

I received a reply from customer service today that it will be available in March. We have two of the swivel version already (ordered from Europe a few years ago for twins) and LOVE it!!! Totally worth waiting another month to order a third for our new addition (he has a cybex Aton for now).

Car seat belt or safety lock is only attaching to base from what I'm seeing in the video. the traditional car seat has seat belt across inside of the back of the car seat, which prevent the seat fly out of the position. It is very cool product, but I'm wondering how it secured to make sure the seat is still on the base when collation happens.

So its November 28th. Is this available anywhere in the USA yet? I have boy/girl twins I want to get 2 of these for. They're currently 8 months young. (Almost 9 months young) Just wondering if this product will be out before 2020 because they're outgrowing thier car seats they have now. Ty for your time.

Not sure if this just my daughter. But she is 2 years and manages to simply click open the buckle. Is this a problem with the carseat or just my baby!! 🤔

I read somewhere that the chest clip sends an alert every single time the car is turned off, is that true? If that is what happens, is it super annoying? This seat looks great, I have a bad back so the rotation is very appealing, but I really don’t need it to ding at me for just turning the car off :/ I’m hoping that what I saw was incorrect and it only alerts when the baby’s been left behind.
Yes it sends an alert and got so annoying that I just disconnected the chip that sends the signal to from my car
How do you feel about the Cybex Aton M infant car seat?
I have it! I love it. Honestly I would give it 4 stars. My only cons are sometimes you have to wiggle it to “click” it into place from stroller to base. Also, the side press downs to lift up the car seat itself gets harder as the child gets heavier. I find myself having to breathe before during and after the process lol. Honestly though, it rides soooo smooth and my son always gets nice and snuggly inside. The canopy is amazing - full coverage and the basket helps me pack just enough such as my diaper bag and a little purse. I would definitely recommend. My son is almost 10 mos.

So happy to see a convertible with a Load Leg & ARB! 😍 is this the only one on the US market? Britax answered my email and said that the One4Life will not have a ARB. 😢
I emailed the Cybex customer service, they say that Sirona S and Sirona Z (both are swivel car seats) do not meet the US safety standards. So they are not coming to the US market. Soooo sad... I would definitely purchase this if it's available in the US.
my information from the sales team at Cybex tells me that it is coming on late 2019 in the US.

Love this idea, but concerned about crumbs and spills. Will this impact the ability to swivel, and how difficult to clean it? Weight limit on it for forward and rear facing? Thanks for showing us around it!

Does anyone know the difference between the Sirona S vs the Sirona Z?
The Sirona S is designed for the USA, and is similar to the Sirona Z, but the Sirona Z base also works with a Cloud Z but the Sirona S is just a convertible car seat and is not removable. The Sirona Z is also not available in the US.

This seat is not secure when installed. The base is flimsy and the seat is easily movable even when tightened down. You can see how much it moves at 0:47. Do not buy this seat.
