They must have updated the manual because loading the car seat into the ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxIG_q-ZqgbzYXwbeApK3AybegDUy4f2fF double stroller was mentioned in the manual (unlike previous comments/reviews). The undercarriage basket is quite large but it is difficult to access when the back rider is reclined, however my toddler usually doesn't fall asleep in the stroller these days so I haven't had an issue. I was amazed by how smooth the ride was and how easily I was able to maneuver the stroller in small spaces. My toddler loves that she can see her baby sister (see photo) during the ride :) Plus you can't beat the price! I have only loaded it once in my car and it is fairly light but my mother wouldn't be able to lift it in.
Ever Flo 360 is awesome! Key to the straps is to extend them out when taking baby out of the car seat, and set them to the side so it easy to put baby back in. When putting baby back in make sure straps are on the side extended so you have no troubles when strapping in the baby. Also Doona is amazing for travel. The car seat mode doesn’t need a base. Ima be sad when my son out grows it.
Going with the even flow! Thank you guys for doing this. It’s been really nice to watch your videos as my twins go through the same baby stages . It’s been incredibly helpful and money saving . And your baby girl is adorable! ❤
Hi thanks for making these videos! I’m curious what doctors think about baby lounger like the Snuggle Me or Dock-a-tot re advantages versus the risks. Wondering if you guys would do some product reviews in the future?
It seems like this wasn't much of an issue for you, but Consumer Reports highlights the Cybex Sirona was harder to install forward and rear facing with a seatbelt and seat belt locking was deemed to be less clear cut than many other convertible car seat options on the market (including the Nuna and Evenflo models you tested). CR obviously isn't the only reputable source of information, but it's handy to see what they noticed as trends good and bad features for various popular car seat models. Thanks for showing us the Evenflo model, too. We want to keep our babies safe as possible, but it's helpful to see $200 car seats can be safe, just as $500 ones can be.
I no longer trust evenflo. The straps aren’t very solid and keep coming off the metal plate in the back of the seat. The maestro anyway seems very flimsy and I worried about transporting the 3 1/2 year old I take care of anywhere. I switched and got a cybex eternis The cybex failed us too. It hurt my hands and the kid I work with looked soooo un comfy in it The crotch buckle has minimal adjustments, is hard to undo, as well as the recline lever (takes all my flipping effort just to move it one or two numbers). also the headrest is annoying!
Graco seats are great but I will say this… they are coated in a greasy fire retardant. I’ve had to wash our extend to fit many times and every time I’m disgusted. I didn’t think much of it but now that I’ve seen that car seats don’t have to be coated in unnecessary toxic chemicals I’m on the hunt for better seats. I’d go for a safe tested seat (check out side impact tests because a lot of seats manufacturers are scamming parents) and one that is green guard certified.
I think that piece on the Rava isn't a leg extender in rear facing mode. I believe you can raise that (well, rotate to face upwards) and it acts as a rebound prevention bar. There's a store called, "Magic Beans" that has a YT channel that reviews these seats extensively. I think all the Nuna's have that feature.
I've had the Cybex Sirona S for almost two years and it has several negatives: the recline/rotation is not smooth and very cumbersome when there's weight on the seat, the cupholder broke off easily and we didn't even get to use it! Finally, the bottom seatbelt is not adjustable as your child grows. It's really hard to imagine an older toddler sitting in it without feeling pinched. . .the review is also accurate about how wabbly it is. It doesn't matter how tight the belts are or that all the indicators in green, ugh.
This was so helpful, thanks! Any sense of whether the evenflo would work in a more compact vehicle? I always see car seats demonstrated in large SUVs and worry they won't work in my small sedan! I still think that rotating feature would be great for a small car (and ideally make for less bonking of heads).
We have two suv(but one is Chevrolet trax) and we was using Chicco nextfit car seat. For both cars works great, for Chevy is even better then first car seat). With first car seat I wasn’t able to adjust front seat due Chevy is small in side. My daughter loves convertible car seat. Now we are considering to buy new convertible car seat… and I just checking options
I was thinking this as well! The only downside I can see to the Revv is that the top weight for it is 40 lbs. the evenflo is $300 cheaper, and goes up to 120 lbs!
Thanks for the video I have a 2 year old and a 9 week old baby since I suffer from a rare form of chronic pain I have been thinking of getting a carseat that revolves since I feel it would be better for my back
I have used the Graco forever carseat. I loved it and so does my kid. The Graco will last longer than what they are talking about. The Graco is safe and the only carseat that has been safely rated for 10 years.
I also had an evelflo convertible seat for my last one that she loved and was cheap, easy to install, and easy to get her in there properly. The forever seats are expensive. I see the appeal... one carseat for ten years sounds amazing.... but with my kids.... I need a new seat every few years.... we could never go ten years without staining thr crap out of a seat so I usually get a seat per stage and avoid the all in one's, because I know they wont last MY FAMILY ten years, so it's not worth the price for me.

I was not able to have a cerclage because of a polyp on my cervix. I know you can not do specific diagnosis on your videos, but I had never heard of any of this and I think it would be good to have more women know what to expect with cervical incompetence etc.. Would love to hear about the one you picked up for plane travel. Our family all lives over 1,000 miles away, so flying or other forms of public transit with a baby is a thing I feel very lost about.
I’m adopting a baby soon and was curious on car seats. I work with children and have a 4-120lb car seat now. But man, that Evenflo car seat is exciting. Guess I’m at the point where I find car seats cool. 😂
Thank you so much! We were on the fence with Elenflo and needed a breakdown like this. If you do another of these, I’m curious about the new Graco 3 in 1! It costs a lot more than Evenflo and I wonder if you get anything for the higher proce
You have NO CLUE how much this video helped. I’m having my second kiddo after 11 years, lol. So many things have changed since 2010. So thank you both!
The rear facing lock off for the cybex seat is insane and makes you cry if you don’t know to loosen the shoulder belt significantly FIRST, then slide it into the lock off
You mentioned the Cybex being loose at the top of the seat. That isn't a problem. When you want to check for a good install, you need check at the belt path (lower anchors or seat belt) for tightness, not at the top of the seat. This is pointed out in the Cybex installation video and is true for all car seat installations. As long as there is one inch or less of movement, it's good. Also, for rear facing, the straps need to be at or below baby's shoulders and the straps needed to be tightened a bit more than they were on your baby.
Thanks for video, we are going to be first time parents and literally know nothing about pregnancy and newborn essentials. Your videos are great help 👍🏻 I have a question, how much vitamin D pregnant women should take who has no medical history and normal health? Prenatal comes with 1000IU, should we take 1000IU extra? How much of vitamin D is safe to consume?
Awesome review and tips! Did you guys like the Evenflo in the long run? Did you get a stroller to use it with (wonder which one would be compatible with the evenflo) or not? Lovely couple and baby! Take care!
I had never heard of any of these names till now. 6 weeks to go and we still don’t have an infant car seat! Okay now that I am typing it out, I realize we better get on it. Thanks for the review!
Hi Bjorkman’s! This video is very helpful! Im also interested in what stroller you picked. From my research the even Flo car seat does not have a matching stroller to click into. Thank you!!
Hi! Thanks for the video! We had the Sirona but felt like it was very Wobbly. We recently purchased the evenflo360 and I was wondering if you have found any info on the safety ratings or crash test? I haven’t been able to find anything. Also just wondering if the seat wobbles a bit when moving from the top. With ours and like you mentioned the base is solid but when we move it from the top it does wobble a bit. Thanks so much!
What do you think about the stiff angle of Evenflo when it’s front facing? Recently bought it but it looks too stiff when it’s front facing plus it doesn’t offer reclining option front facing. Will that still be comfortable for a baby to be in the car seat for a long trip?
Please, make a video on introducing solids and baby lead weaning and the science behind. Also when mom has to supplement breast milk with formula? Thank you so much!
I recently read an article with an official statement from Cybex that said the top tether isn’t absolutely necessary if you’re using the load leg. So technically you don’t need the top tether if your using the load leg which does make it still rotatable forward and rear facing. Additionally, some people do just undo the tether each time too.
A diono seat broke my toe as I was carrying it from the parent’s car to my car. Be careful folks! 😂😂😂. The cybex belt path for rear facing is verrrry finicky
Curious to hear your opinions about the best stroller or travel system that would work well with the revolve 360 if I wanted to start my newborn in it? I’m wanting something that will grow with them so we don’t have to replace so soon
So that is the thing--no strollers work with the Revolve360 (or any of the car seats in this video). It isn't a travel system--it's a convertible carseat only. You can't carry baby in and out in it or put it on a stroller, etc. It does do rear facing, forward facing, and turn into a booster--so it does last a long time. But if you want a travel system, you'll have to find another option.
Thuis review is very helpful. However, you only talked about the functionability of being able to rotate the carseats. Does the evenflo last up to 10 years? Like the Graco 4-in-1? Although graco doesn't have the ability to rotate but it's worth of the money as it lasts for 10 years old or whatever comes first (age or weight). Also, having a tether attached to the back of the seat is more safe than just the base being hooked. Just my opinion. Thank you for the review.
I’ve taken classes as a CPST (child passenger safety technician) & I understand they’re physicians but that doesn’t mean they are car seat certified! I noticed that also and it was a red flag (among several). I know they’re well intended but if they had consulted a certified CPST who keeps up with the ever changing industry, they would have been able to get much better advice for themselves & also while making this vid!
Please please please do a video on colic...... my baby is 2 months old and I need advice. Serious advice lol I even took him to the ER a week ago and they told me he looked perfect just colic. I looked like a crazy girl lol first baby :)
My son has colic too. (He’s formula fed due to my milk supply not coming in). But once we switched formulas, he has been 1000 times better. (If you’re formula feeding your babe.) But they usually do outgrow it. Unfortunately, there’s really no concrete data on what causes it.
Almost pulled the trigger on the Evenflo after watching this video, but saw in others vids people complaining about the bottom crotch buckle digging into the thighs. Have you had any issues with this at all? And is your model the Revolve 360 Extend Gold? Thanks!
Can I ask why you guys didn't just buy a convertible car seat to begin with since they have been safety tested to fit newborns in them as well? I'm confused at why baby travel systems even exist if the whole point of them is to make it convenient to "not wake baby" when going from car to stroller/carrier but the Academy of Pediatrics recommends not keeping baby in car seat for longer than 2 hrs. which is the whole point of why moms buy them. Any thoughts?
Thank you for the great review. I don't know if this is a norm everywhere or if it has been mentioned previously but at least in Canada and exclusive to Toy r us, the evenflo has a gold version that does have the sensor safe included with the car seat which me and my wife ended up getting because at that point it was still less than the Cybex and had the only thing the Cybex had over the evenflo (also got it on sale which was another plus).
Thank you guys so much for this video. Just a great informational video for a new parent those hunting for the best convertible car seat for your fast growing kiddo. Great job guys. ❤️👍🏼
Ive been looking - kind of early - for the next carseat for my son. He is 9 months old and 15 pounds 9 oz and was born 7 weeks early. Im thinking of the Evenflo but what would you guys recommend. Also - the Evenflo has the baby butt down and knees up a little more than others, is that important
What would you recommend as a car seat for a newborn? Our baby is due in June and there’s so much information on car seats, it can be a little overwhelming.
We love our Doona for our infant. It’s a carseat stroller dual and can be transfer to another car alone or buy another base for it. We used it up to 13 months (since she reached the height limit first of 32in) some parents use it up to 18 months and now we have the Evenflo revolve 360 gold. Best transition. Can’t wait to use the Doona again for the next baby.
I have the cybex and one of the BIGGEST cons is that the base isn’t removable like the evenflo. SOOO MUCH snacks and dirt get in between that crack and there is NOWAY to clean it effectively since the seat isn’t removable. And it jsut keeps gettting crushed and grinded down every time I twist it 🤮
thanks for this video! i’m going with the baby jogger city turn as i practice extended rear facing so by the time my youngest is forward facing he will be able to get himself in his seat. so 180 is perfect for me. plus the weight and height limits. the biggest downside for me for the evenflo (newer versions with higher weight/height limits) is the fact that the crotch strap is extremely short, causing the buckle to dig into the thighs of chunkier babies/toddlers.
I just love y’all’s channel! It has been so helpful for our TTC journey as well as now that we have conceived😍 I am currently looking for the best infant car seat, and there are SO many on the market with mixed reviews! Do y’all have a preference?
I know you havr the car seats rear facing, but are they in the right recline setting? It looks like the car seat are not in the newborn settings, whoch would have been nice to see.

There's a new 2023 version, Evenflo Gold Revolve 360 Extend. The emerald color is using their new green and clean fabric, it's chemical free.
@@dreaminginjapani asked a firefighter friend he laughed out loud and said its a peace of mind thing, nothing works on electrical fire car-bq short of throwing it in the ocean.
The sensor safe feature is amazing and could save so many babies lives all car seats should have that feature!
We loved it too!!
I'm right behind you !! 14 years for me 😅
The rear facing lock off for the cybex seat is insane and makes you cry if you don’t know to loosen the shoulder belt significantly FIRST, then slide it into the lock off
Thanks! I had been looking at the Evenflo revolve actually. And your review just made it a solid purchase.
Take care!
Was waiting for this so long.. thank you. I am into 7th month now and want to gather everything for the baby ☺️
I had never heard of any of these names till now. 6 weeks to go and we still don’t have an infant car seat! Okay now that I am typing it out, I realize we better get on it. Thanks for the review!
The Doona is everything 🔥. I can't imagine going through the newborn stage without it
Britax.
I’m so glad you did the comparison between the two 360 seats :)
Personally I think the Evenflo would be best of these 3
bad part about the evenflow is the handle is on the top and kinda hard to use.
Hi doctors, are you s5ill using the eve Flo car seat ? I saw other moms complaining about the hip strap fraying after only a few months of usage.
Please, make a video on introducing solids and baby lead weaning and the science behind. Also when mom has to supplement breast milk with formula?
Thank you so much!
Yesss to this!! I would love to see them talk about introducing solids!
I recently read an article with an official statement from Cybex that said the top tether isn’t absolutely necessary if you’re using the load leg. So technically you don’t need the top tether if your using the load leg which does make it still rotatable forward and rear facing. Additionally, some people do just undo the tether each time too.
I’m interested in if you two have changed your views on this car seat based on all the complaints and investigations into this model.
Starting the search for a convertible car seat for my little. Several months later, are you still happy with the Evenflo? Thanks!
Can someone link the exact evenflo 360 they selected and showed? Thank you!
Looking for references for baby laundry detergent that is safe !? Any recommendations?
Thuis review is very helpful. However, you only talked about the functionability of being able to rotate the carseats. Does the evenflo last up to 10 years? Like the Graco 4-in-1? Although graco doesn't have the ability to rotate but it's worth of the money as it lasts for 10 years old or whatever comes first (age or weight). Also, having a tether attached to the back of the seat is more safe than just the base being hooked. Just my opinion. Thank you for the review.
Just so you know, it is unsafe to recline the vehicle seat while in use with a car seat.
Love this. We have twins and they’re getting big. Even better that we have the same vehicle so I can see exactly what it will be like.
Please please please do a video on colic...... my baby is 2 months old and I need advice. Serious advice lol I even took him to the ER a week ago and they told me he looked perfect just colic. I looked like a crazy girl lol first baby :)
Look into the happiest baby on the block by Harvey Karp, or look into the 5 S's, they are a life saver
@@pmathieus07 thanks will do!;)
My son has colic too. (He’s formula fed due to my milk supply not coming in). But once we switched formulas, he has been 1000 times better. (If you’re formula feeding your babe.) But they usually do outgrow it. Unfortunately, there’s really no concrete data on what causes it.
@@brittanylockwood6085 yes recently went to his pediatrician and they changed his formula hoping he feels better 🙏
If o my I had money like that to buy 3 seats 😂😂
nuna have the new revv. is it possible to do a review on it?
What infant carseat did you use?
I would still love to know what infant seat you used.
DOONA!
We got the Nuna Revv. The rotatable Nuna. I don't think it was out when you made this. I adore it! Best baby purchase I made.
I have it too, I agree! So happy with it!
Almost pulled the trigger on the Evenflo after watching this video, but saw in others vids people complaining about the bottom crotch buckle digging into the thighs. Have you had any issues with this at all? And is your model the Revolve 360 Extend Gold? Thanks!
This video was very helpful! Appreciate you taking us along as you went through this process!
So helpful thank you !!
How was the legroom for the Evenflo ? At Max 40 inch rear facing, its on the lower side?
Did you consider the revv, rotating option from Nuna ?
Thank you for the great review. I don't know if this is a norm everywhere or if it has been mentioned previously but at least in Canada and exclusive to Toy r us, the evenflo has a gold version that does have the sensor safe included with the car seat which me and my wife ended up getting because at that point it was still less than the Cybex and had the only thing the Cybex had over the evenflo (also got it on sale which was another plus).
She is so cute!
Can you please compare the evenflo to the new nuna revv
Thank you guys so much for this video. Just a great informational video for a new parent those hunting for the best convertible car seat for your fast growing kiddo. Great job guys. ❤️👍🏼
Agreed!!! Thank you!!
This video was super helpful! Thank you
i just love the dynamic between you too :)
also very useful info I didn't really get from the products specifications. thank you !
The evenflow 360 doesnt recline in forward facing position to accommodate a sleeping baby. Is that true?
Can you compare them to Nuna revv?
Ive been looking - kind of early - for the next carseat for my son. He is 9 months old and 15 pounds 9 oz and was born 7 weeks early. Im thinking of the Evenflo but what would you guys recommend. Also - the Evenflo has the baby butt down and knees up a little more than others, is that important
What would you recommend as a car seat for a newborn? Our baby is due in June and there’s so much information on car seats, it can be a little overwhelming.
Follow safe in the seat on instagram! She has a whole program for parents and carseat safety, she’s great and super knowledgeable.
And it jsut keeps gettting crushed and grinded down every time I twist it 🤮
The nuna Raava only has a belt tensioner. The seat belt needs to be locked. In case you are still using this seat a year later. I am a cpst.
That’s how children’s developed claustrophobia with that rear-end seating space…
thanks for this video! i’m going with the baby jogger city turn as i practice extended rear facing so by the time my youngest is forward facing he will be able to get himself in his seat. so 180 is perfect for me. plus the weight and height limits. the biggest downside for me for the evenflo (newer versions with higher weight/height limits) is the fact that the crotch strap is extremely short, causing the buckle to dig into the thighs of chunkier babies/toddlers.
this doesnt apply to every parent, these prices i mean, i love my children and i value safety.. but its alot of money.
I just love y’all’s channel!
It has been so helpful for our TTC journey as well as now that we have conceived😍
I am currently looking for the best infant car seat, and there are SO many on the market with mixed reviews! Do y’all have a preference?
The sensor safe feature is amazing and could save so many babies lives all car seats should have that feature!
I know you havr the car seats rear facing, but are they in the right recline setting? It looks like the car seat are not in the newborn settings, whoch would have been nice to see.
So are these car seats not able to be lifted out and you carry baby in?
Where can we get the black and white contrast cards & holder shown around 9:32???
I can’t find any crash tests or anything on safety for the 360 does anyone know?
I find Nuna car seats to be like little buckets. My son had reflux issues and nuna car seat only made it worse
Thank you for another great video! What brand was the additional car seat bought for traveling on planes and trains?
I wish I bought one of these...the Graco car seat I bought is does not hold the newborn head straight.
Weird you ddnt test the graco 4in1 it is always on top as far as safety and being a great seat
Nuna Revv is a new convertible car seat that can rotate too, will you be doing a review on it?
I JUST SAW THIS CAME ON TO THE MARKET!! Definitely want to do a review to compare it to the Revolve 360. It is stupid expensive though, but we can talk about that in the review!!
@@TheDoctorsBjorkman the price for how long you can use it for looked soooo disappointing
In the usa you don't need to tether the cybex in ff because of the load leg from what I've read
We bought the Evenflo Gold 360 is amazing I love it
