i like your videos because i feel like your makeup reviews are more realistic for the average woman (or man). makeup artists use harsh lighting and they usually have flawless, smooth skin and therefore its almost discouraging when you try to compare your makeup to theirs. i don't know if this makes any sense or if anyone else agrees with me, but i just want you to know i love & appreciate your videos and they really help me decide whether to buy things or not. love you!
Prismo x those make up gurus don't have good flawless skin. It's just that the ring lights they use washes their flaws out. On top of it, they use the app/hack to do live photo shop so that they look flawless. For them, it's less about reviewing the truth about the product but more about looking pretty. If you look at their "draw my life", it's always "I was alone and I have no friends so I start making you tube videos". So for them, looking good and making people like them and say "you're pretty" is more important than the review itself. When PR ppl see that their skin look good due to lighting and stuff, they sent stuff to them so that it looks like the products are good. And the viewers think the product is good and buy them so they get sent more PR stuff.
Prismo x if you watch a video by Wayne god that said "lies lies lies you're being lied to" he shows how the live photoshop works. And that's what those gurus use. How can they have flawless skin when they put thousands of different products on their skin all the time. And none of the, breaks them out? After everything they put their skin through?

It's so weird to see a foundation without a pump. In Europe every single foundation, even the cheapest one, comes with a pump.
Your makeup reviews are so honest and authentic! I'm so tired of seeing videos where the reviewer is clearly applying makeup for camera. Like, there is no way myself, nor many people I know would be comfortable walking out of the house wearing that much makeup! Sure, it looks fantastic on camera, with that perfect lighting and the distance and shotty video quality, but in real life anyone wearing that much makeup would look clownish! My skin is not perfect (why I'm wearing makeup) and I appreciate that you give us extreme close ups, especially highlighting your scars, pores and blemishes. Bc that's how a lot of people's skin really looks, and it's helpful to see how these hyped foundations actually look over that crap! Thank you.
I'm not sure why I enjoy your about-town and getting ready footage so much, but I do. And this is going to sound really weird, but especially seeing the little things you pack in your purse, or when you show little snacks you packed for the day, and things you pick up at the store. Maybe I'm just super nosy? I dunno. I think I'm just oddly impressed that your purse is so neat and you carry around just the lip product you're wearing that day. My purse quickly becomes a graveyard of most-used lip products.

I'm so glad you mentioned the fragrance in this. I cannot cannot cannot stand fragrance in foundation! I don't understand why it's in any foundation. Are we trying to cover up facial odors?? No. no we aren't. Come on cosmetics companies stop with the fragrance!
My concern is that it is actually bad for the skin. I don't get putting frangrance into everything. I like frangrance in body balms and shower gels and haircare products (more like conditioner, prefer no added smells in shampoos). Face products should b scentless, same about antiperspirants so they don't mix with perfume.
Shannon Lobough last I heard, the fragrance comes from the serum (skin care) in the foundation.
Shannon Lobough It probably smells like that new Wet n Wild foundation if they don't fragrance it... which is straight up house paint.
I love your reviews much more than any other beauty guru here on UA-cam purely because all of them have very clear skin ( I have clear skin also) but still! I cannot recommend foundations to my friends that have acne or problematic skin because I don't have it & the beauty gurus I watch don't either. So thank you, love you & your amazing channel!!!

I can't describe my feelings for this foundation in words, just interpretive dance and happy facial expressions. My 29 year old skin looks 16 again!! I'm so happy. I usually wear revlon colourstay (in Buff if anyone is looking for a shade guide and bought
rimmel 25 hour in Ivory) but even though I love revlon colourstay, it always looks a bit crusty around my nose and acts as a big neon light for my pores - not the case with this rimmel foundation! I'm converted! I have combo skin, getting drier as the years tick by and it seems to wear beautifully for me, even without powder.
Just need to see how it photographs with flash now since it's spf 20 :-/ oh and it feels SO comfortable on my skin, as if my skin is wearing the foundation equivalant of a spandex onesie... I imagine that's comfortable... *ahem* bye.
In Canada, this comes with a pump! I apply mine with a beauty blender and I love it. HATE how it looks with a brush. I have oily, acne-prone skin, and lots of scarring because of my dermatillamania.

Btw, you know that little dream catcher-type colorful bracelet hanging around your stuffed tiger's neck? I have the same bracelet in black that I've worn on my wrist for over five years now. On my instagram there's a pic of my left wrist and all of the bracelets I have tied on and never remove, and the dream-catcher one is always at the top of my wrist. I always notice yours when you show the time at the end of the video and it makes me smile :)
Hi! I don't usually comment on youtube videos, but I've found yours just now and I absolutely love it! Specially the ones about foundations, you're are so clear about everything and the close-ups are super helpful - I just cannot get the hate on comments. I live in Brazil and, although we have Sephora, not everything comes to our stores and we cannot get most of the drugstore brands you guys have in the USA. But, as I love make-up, sometimes I ask some traveler friend to get products for me if I don't have a travel coming and that is why your super sincere and "super closed-up" reviews are so important to me. For instance, I was thinking about getting that Loreal matte infalible foundation, cause so many youtubers were talking about it, until I watched your review and wow, that is not something I would like! This is honestly one of my favorite foundations from the drugstore. It works so well with my skin and I adore it.
Even though I know that me and you have very different skin types so I cant really assume that stuff will act the same way on me that it does on you, I love watching all your videos! You're such a great and fun person that even though I can't really listen to what you end up finding, I'm glad to sit and watch you make a review!
This foundation gives my dry skin a flawless look! And it feels really great! I used like 3 tubes of the old formula, and this new one I love even more, and I'm on MY 3rd bottle! And I use it on my clients and they love it!

I've got this foundation in the UK and it comes with a pump. I've seen a few comments too about it not blending well with brushes? I use the real techniques flat foundation brush to place the product and their buffing brush to blend and it blends greaf

I'm so surprised it did well with a primer!! Every time I tried it with primer it looked so bad and a few other youtubers said the same thing! I'm going to have to invest in that primer you used because I love this foundation so much!! Loved the video! :)
My favourite foundation of all time! :( Lasts long on my combo/oil skin and the coverage is lovely! Just finished the bottle and bought Marc Jacobs Genius Gel foundation... Not bad tho but now I really miss the rimmel one sooo much! PS: in Australia it has a pump (the new packaging)
Minnesota looks like an absolutely magical wonderland with that snow! I was just looking at this foundation at Walmart the other day, and didn't know if it would be good for my oily skin or not.
I may have to try this in that shade actually because I'm looking for a moisturizing yellow toned foundation. Any others you might suggest?
I also had issues with oil breaking through with this foundation when I used it sometime back. Have you tried loreal infallible pro-matte? Its the best I've found for my oily skin thus far.

What I don't understand is why anything that goes on your face would be fragranced. Like that's what perfume and deodorant is for. Why do companies think this is ok

Also id love to see a best concealer video i need a concealer that doesnt crease but all the drugstore ones ive used crease.

I always think it's weird when foundations have '25 hours' or '24 hours' in the name. You're supposed to wash that stuff off because you'll be asleep for half that time haha
in the Netherlands it's very full coverage and it does have a pump??
I'm glad I discovered your videos. I have SUPER sensitive skin (Aveeno irritates my skin!). I'm not super oily but I have super red cheeks.People either think I'm blushing or super hot. They sometimes even get flaky if the air is too dry(not usually a problem in NC but we've had some dryyyyy Fall/Winter seasons that anger my skin). I feel like your videos are helpful.

I'm currently using the cover girl clean sensitive skin liquid foundation in the shade porcelain and its like the worst ! It has like no coverage at all ! And it doesn't have a pump ! I'm considering trying the revlon foundation but I don't know

HELP! I have super sensitive skin that is acne-prone and SO SO SO oily. I have heard review of people getting cystic acne or millia on their skin. I'm super scared to use this. My foundation shade and brand wasn't at the store so I grabbed this off the shelf in 091 Light ivory because i'm really pale. PLEASE HELP BEFORE TOMORROW MORNING! I need to know if this week break me out, and if this will keep my SUPER oily skin at bay.

My skin is oily exactly like yours my make up turns out Cakey by the end of the day even if I don't do much on some days. My Marc Jacobs started to break me out and I haven't broken out in a long time. I'm going to try that fit me foundation hopefully that works for me too sorry I know it's not about this foundation just wanted to vent and ask a few ☺️💕
