Update on staying power- Stay Matte Primer + Lasting Finish... it was REALLY good. Even better than the several days where I wore the foundation alone (and on my normal/dry skin, those days were pretty nice, actually) -- but WITH the primer, it really becomes a "no touchups required" type of thing for me!! Now to see how the combo performs in the warmer months :)

Happy Saturday. Thank you for these wear notes. I recently threw out several foundations, and I really like how your completion looks, so I may have to get this primer/foundation combo. And maybe the concealer (I really don't wear concealer). I have several of their magnif'eyes pallets, and they are awesome. And this Nude one is I didn't know I need until now. Colors look meh on the shelve but based on your review, it's stunning.

Rimmel is a HUGE brand in the UK, and the reason you find more of their products in Walgreens is that Walgreens is owned by the same conglomerate that owns Boots, a UK drugstore that stocks the majority of Rimmel products.

I think the eyeshadow palette is a Naked palette dupe. Thank you so much for using a brand available in Australia. Often the inexpensive brands you recommend aren't readily found here. This video is just great.
I think Rimmel is still pretty well loved in the UK. It's easily found in Boots and Superdrug. It was associated with the model Kate Moss for yrs here. The Love Island UK presenter Maya Jama has been advertising the latest mascara - Wonder Bond Serum mascara - very recently. I really like the Oh My Gloss lip glosses - especially the shades My Eternity and Purrr Glossy Cat. Emma x
Rimmel use to have a lip color called Airy Fairy and why they discontinued it is beyond me! Absolutely the most perfect soft pink, your lips but better. I’m still bitter about it, lol

Happy Saturday! Rimmel has become a bit forgotten! They still have nice lipsticks. What is interesting and odd is that Rimmel seems much more expensive in the UK than the US. Talking double to almost three times the price for some items.

The bronzer from rimmel was one of my earliest purchases when I started dabbling in makeup. I still remember watching one of your old videos where u recommended the Rimmel bronzer and purchasing it immediately. I still use it and love it. I do like Rimmel. I still have some nail polish from years back I purchased at WM. My teenager loves the “scandalous eyes” mascara from Rimmel. Beautiful beautiful everyday look, Emily. Another 83 baby here 😊I started out with Rimmel stay matte powder and as I tried more and more high end makeup you know what is in my makeup bag right now is stay matte powder lol it truly is really good!! Also their lip glosses are some of the best!!!
One of the great things about Rimmel powders is they are made to pop out of the packaging into a fancy compact. Inexpensive but so fancy!
Rimmel used to have the best mascara, it had a comb on the wand instead of a brush and it really got every lash. But of course with all good things it got discontinued ☹️

LOVED this video! I used to use so many Rimmel products bc they were affordable when raising our kids and not being able to have extra money for makeup. Then as the kids have grown up and money isn’t so tight, I’ve gotten drawn in trying the latest and greatest and have forgotten about the classics! Rimmel used to be one of my go-to brands when I was young, but then I went cruelty free and stopped shopping the brand, they are now cruelty free so I can give them another try, though my local Walmart only carries a handful (literally) of Rimmel products, I've seen more variety at the Walgreens and even a larger selection at Meijer... When I first starting using makeup I used to do something I saw my mom do and that was to warm up the tip of the eyeliner with a lighter, worked like a charm. I’ve since discovered eyeliners that glide on easily over eyeshadow and last throughout the day.
The lighter trick brings back so many memories💞My friends and I would do that in the girl’s restroom (Catholic school no less😁)…best make~up trick at the time…!

I've never been interested in Rimmel but when they went cruelty free 2-3 years ago I wanted to give them a try 😊
The pressed powder didn't look great, maybe because I set my face with a powder puff...?
And their Lasting Finish setting Spray is the second worst spray I've ever tried cause the sprayer is VERY aggressive 😅 no matter how far away you hold it, it still comes at you hard!! 🙈

Rimmel makes my favorite drugstore sharpen able eye liner. Its the brown/bronze liner. My Walmart ( 3 in my town) stopped carrying Rimmel in store.

hey Emily! Not only is that little brush good to keep, but I think the sponge tip applicator will be popular again soon! I've always used a sponge tip for shimmer shades, and I've bought a pack of disposable generic ones (looks like a matchbook) just for those few shimmer shades that I still use. Years ago (maybe 25?) Rimmel had an eyeshadow trio named "Lynx", it had the most gorgeous dark figgy-plummy shimmer that was my first foray into plummy shades on my eyes. You always remember your "gateway drug", so thanks for bringing that memory back to me! Love the video!
I had to go take a spin around walmart today to see what are the Rimmel prices like here in Canada WOW ...for once...I am pleasantly shocked!! While the prices are of course 20-50% more than the prices in the US , MOST of what I saw was indeed under $10 !!! I mean, in Canada you are hard pressed to find anything under $10 when it comes to make up in the drugstore...I am truly shocked and pleasantly so!! So, for the Canadian girlies ...if you havent shopped Rimmel for a while I say have a look at the line, as we all know...things in Canada are pretty tense right now, we are all faced with doing a lot more with a lot less...finding a really good quality make up brand that has been around a very long time with some truly great products, a foundation that is under $10 Canadian...is truly phenominal !!!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉

That rimmel foundation is a staple in my collection I'm so glad the brought it back a year or so ago. They scared me when they discontinued it
my favorite lip pencil ever was rimmel coffee bean it was the wood pencil and can't find it anymore. It had great staying power❤👍

I remember that video! I bought the same shade foundation & loved it. I also remember the video w/ Kayleigh. I also loved their lipsticks which, at that time, were really hot. Airy Fairy was really popular. Nice to see their mascara improved. This look is beautiful. Beautiful finish. Flawless.

In Rimmel's Kind and Free line there is a beautiful range of blush sticks....i have several now...they blend so well a nd really last all day...and are not greasy! Absolutely recommend them!

No8 lipstick has been my favourite for years. It is a similar colour to pillow talk. It wears extremely well and it is 1/3rd of the price. It’s my staple for work and weekends. I never want them to discontinue it. I love Rimmel 😊
I love Rimmel products and now I gotta get that cool tone palette she used. That’s gorgeous and cool palettes are nearly impossible to find, high end or drugstore. That stay matte primer works amazing over makeup too, not just under it as a base. It even says it’s made to go over makeup to refresh and it does that beautifully. The Stay Matte powder I will forever have in all my bags and makeup drawers. If they put that powder in a high end or luxury compact, you’d pay the high end prices. It’s that good and only a few bucks.
I love how she plays with products so we can see the full capabilities. Like that shadow palette she really put to work and all the shades were really nice on her.
Does anyone remember when Rimmel released a whole line of nude lipsticks? It was marketed as a shade for every skin tone and Kate Moss was the spokesperson ❤

I've used Rimmel's dark brown brow pencil for YEARS, but I've never found another brow product that can compete - from budget to high end. The consistency is perfect, can be sharpened into a really fine point and it's virtually budge proof! I'm based in the UK, so Rimmel is everywhere. Another die hard product from Rimmel is their lasting finish lipstick - 'Heather Shimmer' is one of my most repurchased lipsticks - even over CT!💄

My whole left eye is a challenge because I am right handed. Therefore, I always thought if I was a cyclops it would have been perfect! Just my brain flying away again. Thank you for your video. I haven't worn foundation in years. But you are enticing me to start again. Being 42, I seem my pores and fine lines and foundation just looks bad on my skin. I have dry skin. Winter time is the worst! But I love rimmel products. Walmart here does not carry that brand here in Wisconsin.
The rimmel lasting finish with the white cap was my absolute favourite. I've not found anything similar since!

That Rimmel concealer has stood up against my Natasha Denona and Tower 28! In fact... The lasting power over blemishes is BETTER so it's a serious contender for HG. I have 20+ concealers 😅

On Friday, I bought the KIND & FREE™ TINTED LIP BALM in the shade 004-hibiscus blaze. I am in Montreal (Quebec) Canada and this was 9.97$ cdn plus taxes so a total of almost 12$. For us canadian, the prices are double then what you guys pay in the US.
I love the eye shadow palette - I'm about to re-order it for the 3rd time. It's just what I need for a daily look as a teacher. The crease color and the blending one you used are 2 of my daily choices that are hitting pan. I'm eager to try some of their face products as your skin looked flawless! I find the undertones are perfect for my light neutral skin tone in rimmel foundations. I haven’t tried the updated version of the lasting finish and now I think I will ! It’s been in my Amazon cart for a while. The price is amazing good !
