Holy crap this looks insanely good! Even without official in-game HDR support, the OLED panel makes all the colors vibrant. I bet it looks even better in person.
I really tried to like that monitor but I could not unsee 4k even with the Cru mod. I was using a LG C3 before I switched to this monitor but ended up returning it and getting the LG C4 42”. Great videos tho thanks for the content
i think the leds are a little too distracting. but wow man, i own the oled g9 odyssey and cant wait for ultrawide support to come out its gonna be an experience. The lg 45 was my other option and yeah it looks amazing here too! Thanks for the video!
i wanna get a curved ultrawide for gaming but i also wanna use the screen for movies and stuff, and i dont want a curved for that. Probably gonna have to go with a "normal" oled in the end :s
I recommend using lossless scaling and capping the frame rate at 60. It really feels the game runs at 240fps when you use the frame generation and the dcaling 4x. I use it with my 4080, and it does wonders.
I’ve never had an ultra wide and was wondering what’s the transition from normal like. I mean it certainly looks sick but does it take time getting used to ? Do all games support it ? Is all ultrawides the same resolution?
No not all game support it. But I switched to ultrawide last year and now everytime inplay a game with out ultrawide I cry. I won't ever want to go back now. Yes, you get use to it but it's more of you hate to get used to it with out it.
This is the first game in almost 2 years that I have found that was new and didn’t support it. Absolutely game changing tho to play in ultrawide. It’s awesome. Games like this, helldivers, wukong are badass. Racing games like Forza too are extremely great in UW. It was a great decision.
True HDR from OLED is best experience for me, like Horizon or GoW! But SM2 haven't official HDR support... That RTX HDR is not so good for me... Someone know if is it official patch for UW resolution (I know, it's a mod)?

On what resolution are you playing ? i think your graphic card is to low, when u play higher then 1440p. Processor is not that good too. Need a upgrade
Question for you. In game it already says 3440x1440 in display. Did you notice a drop in performance using the mod or was it identical to the original before the mod added the extra screen.

How are you getting RTX HDR as everytime I scan the game is not yet being detected by the nVidia app. Did you just manually add the exe for the game? I don't like doing that as eventually when it is recognized/added by nVidia you can never seem to remove the manually added variant.
Unfortunatly the game does not suport ultrawide as in 3 monitors because there is no pov slider it just zooms it in to where your missing the top and botom 2/3 of the view
Hey I was wondering if you could help me out, so I never knew RTX HDR was a thing, enabled it but now the game looks crazy blown out and I have no idea how to fix it. Changing the brightness calibration in-game does nothing to help fix it...
I use headphones, the Corsair virtuoso pros mostly. The audio your hearing on the video is the actual ingame audio, I edit my videos to overlay the ingame audio file over the video so it sounds like you’re watching a regular gameplay video
Its pretty sad you have to have a monitor like this to not feel like this is the same fov as sm1. I couldnt do it so i refunded, beat the short campaign and wasnt impressed with how much content the game offers. Its a 40 dollar game and I will grab it in 2 months when the price reflects it. Saber always puts ganes on sale fast.
Sometimes this happens with game launchers like Steam, I’m not sure if they run a different process or what but some games like this one don’t work when I launch them through Steam. Instead, try launching the game by going into your Windows Explorer and launching it from the games folder directly. Make sure you’re launching the same .exe you added to the NVIDIA app. That should work
Unfortunately the game doesn’t natively support Ultrawide yet, it’s going to be patched it by the end of the month. The only solution right now is to use a mod, I’ve linked the Reddit thread I used in the description of the video
I recommend the AFMF2 (AMD only driver frame generation) Sept 6 preview driver too if you have RDNA2 or 3 card. Getting ~160 fps max details at 2560x1440 on my 6900 XT/5800X. The driver has Space Marine 2 optimizations even!
Devs patched the game so this mod no longer works, and they didn't actually provide UW support. It's just 16:9 stretched with vertical chopped off. Unbelievable. Glad I held off on buying this game. "UW by the end the month!" Uh-huh. Fool me once...
Its over rated tbh, already tired of it after 20 hours,did all the missions in story and all the missions on pve,pvp is busted,just not a $60 game,more of a $30 game

I have my recording settings set to capture to highest audio bitrate and do so in Stereo instead of mono, that’s probably helping

You will probably get high fps with DLSS turned off as the GPU is being bottlenecked.
