The time commitment in WoW to be competitive in arena is just annoying, and pve items should have never been allowed in rated PvP. It's not fair for competitive play. They should have just had an arena server where you can play any class you like in arena/rbg without having to worry about gear IL, but rely on your skill alone.
That would be an interesting concept, but it’s the essence of an MMO , that you are progressing a character 😕 but Blackrock did a pretty good job balancing the PvE gearing too making it rating based
@@MEYTRIX actually back in the days that was normal except for Arena tournament. But for the most pserver we ve gotten full set and pve stuff. P servers weren't that progressed tho and calcs may been way to off when wotlk was a thing.
I've had a wild concept of wow being exactly this pretty much. It's like in Overwatch or other games you can play each hero whenever you want. But in wow unless you have a ridiculous amount of free time or you use a bot to level alts you will not be able to play each class. And sadly not playing each class at max level will put you at a disadvantage to someone that has become it allows you to understand what each class can do on a deeper level after you've played it yourself.

Me and a buddy with significant WoW and WOTLK experience had trouble above 1500, facing BiS characters immediately. New players have no chance. It's also not fun for old players who want to gear a new character, or players that wish to spend time in Battlegrounds with how lopsided battlegrounds are alliance-favored. Mercenary system was a good change, but it's not enough to change the heavily lopsided PvP faction problem.
I have a very similar experience, although, had I have an arena partner of a similar level that I could play with, I am sure we could hit high ratings relatively fast, but I am saying it from the point of view of a pvp veteran, most ppl are not in that position
@@MEYTRIX My problem is, that I die in a Cheap Shot, Kidney rotation with 1300 resilience. Never had any problem surviving that in AT for example. This goes for any other class. Don't seem to remember having a problem like this on 2 - 2.2k rating back in the day.
Ppl min maxed since then, or maybe they go in pve gear in which case you need to trinket and pop defensives quick, but if you survive the opener - the opponents are in trouble
this server is a shit, plagued with a scripters and full bis donors that broke all the pvp experience. Its not funny and u just cant play without a donnor at your side.
@@MEYTRIX and that's why I could never get hooked into private servers. 2v2 is an unfair bracket where some specs had unfair advantage. For me 2v2 was never the real bracket. Whenever I had tried a private server I quit after trying to find 3v3 partners.
@@brodanshaman6603 I am always having problems scheduling the games with 2 other people since it’s always someone not home, working, spending time with the family and so on, it makes it almost impossible to play with 2 other ppl in team consistently, that’s why I prefer 2v2 or 1v1
@@MEYTRIX that's why I eventually went back on retail even though I don't enjoy meta. 2v2 is an extremely unfair and pointless bracket. That's why you cannot get glad in it from Cata. Nobody treats it serious on retail. It's one of the reasons why Classic Wrath will be better than Warmane.
Idk why you only get Furi gear on seasonal when it’s already on Wrathful season, that to me also sounds like too big gap, and you also get waaay less opponents and ppl to play with, but I have yet to try it myself, so I can’t rly tell what kind of gear ppl there tend to have
if u got fury start gear its because you are on same season with frostmourne seasonal, you have to choose to be on season with blackrock and icecrown when u first log in new character and talk to the goblin guy

For a Casual player such as myself, 150$ is way too much I can justify spending on an item on 1 character on a game - but I wouldn't mind spending 27$ on Oathbinder, 2nd best weapon for Warriors. But if I am skilled, can I beat SM wearers? Are the 2 items comparative or close?
Hmmm that’s an interesting idea, you definitely can beat Shmourners even with basic fresh Blackrock gear if you and your partner can outplay them, that happens all the time…as for the weapon comparison, I would assume SHM is miles ahead, but I’ve never tried them out myself
Shadowmourne not only has higher weapon damage and optimal attack speed (bigger ability crits) but also has an effect equivalent to wearing an additional bis trinket. It's pretty damn good.
@@rons2094 true, but I am also thinking - different private servers have slightly different numbers when it comes to spells and items, for instance - Mortal Strike on WoW Circle hits much harder than on Warmane, so that affects the overall performance too, this might be similar to how SHM works on various servers, might be better on one server and worse on the other, not all WotLK servers are equal
WOTLK has the balance problem of Warr/HPal being overpowered in 2v2s, this is made worse by Warmane's decision to allow buying SMourne. Do you think playing 3v3/Soloqueue fixes this for players in the meantime? How active is 3v3/soloqeue now compared to 2v2s?
Don’t forget WotLK is not only WF season, on the earlier seasons there are other comps that are at the top…soloq has its own problems, but it’s super-active, especially if you que up as a healer, and 3v3 is active mostly on Sundays during event
@@MEYTRIX i am but highly doubt it. my friend on blackrock was in full relentless vs a p2w guy in wrathful with shadowmourne and my friend is way better than that guy at pvp. gear does matter a lot when theres a huge gear gap. like back in naxx phase, the bis pvp gear and the savage/deadly gear didnt rly make much difference at all xD
this is mostly why i only pvp on twink brackets in wotlk i wish more people realized this, but 79s are far more balanced than 80s in 3.3.5, and still has a ladder for it on the website, and the fact that you can use crafted gear, dungeon farmed gear and even tbc raiding gear all having pretty much the same overall impact

On the other hand in classic WOW and even incoming classic Wotlk. We have GDKP and gold carriers in PVP and arena. That gold is bouth for real money in some third part homepages that are not always so secure and not so ethical. There is simply not chance that you can farm that quantity of gold in game with professions or quests if you dont play the game at lest 12 hrs /day (if is not your work, yes young venezuelans can do it for you for crap salary). That GDKP raids are runed right mostly by farming companies and some guilds the get very GOOD PROFIT, the real issue in Classic, couse this an spiral with a much diffrent disparity between players that warmane pvp. Players going to woklt with hundred of thousends of gold earned by the gdkp system. The new players, or players that didnt buy gold, will not have a chance to buy gear. On the GDKS it can be that items are reserved on dropp. SO if the item is needed by the carriers will not be sell. The sell system they use is a BID system that usually end in the prices being very high dependend on the people on the raids. People with more gold can buy the item (disparity on gold). I would prefere something that everyone has the chance to buy and use at a fixed price regardless, and that its control of the games administrators, to something that is in control of players. So to me, if there will be any pay to win system i would prefere the Warmane system. No player can expoit it as they do in Classic TBC by now.
@@MEYTRIX look at blackrock is duble the arena point so if you reach 2k you take 2k are point +bg 150ap and if you do the 3s quest each sunday is 250 so You take 1 item evry week for the honor there is quest gives you alot and you can Also make 9 alts do 10 games you will take 4500ap which is 90k honor. So i think you over react is not that hard 😊

Issue is you start at 1.500 mmr and team 0 rating, and by the time you reach 1.8 rating you're at 2k+ mmr fighting top 4% and if you were to hover around 1.8 rating it would take you 7~9 weeks to get chest,S8 Chest,Hands,Legs and only certain comps with full rele can push above 2k mmr but usually you get sniped cuz Warmane have stupid vendors that allow you to spectate games.

@MEYTRIX thats the problem about private servers bro, on warmane resto druid, bugging with clearcasting (thats why they dont getting oom) lifebloom bugged aswell, and its not blizzlike, every private server have the problem, you cant trust any class, on every privat server This is pure speculation but it can also be possible, that privat server devs adding "hidden" buffs on some classes, like warrior or dk, so more people would buy shadowmourne i playing for 8 years now on different privat server, and it happend to often, sometimes the greediness cost their own server. other privat server (rising gods) the pet from unholy dk does 10x more dmg than the pet on warmane, so i have to say i lost the trust about privat server and im so glad that we have classic wotlk with the orginal retail core soon

bro you start at 5,6k gs on blackrock, yes you will get outgeared in arenas but its still possible to get enough rank to get WF if ur somewhat skilled. Looking forward to frostmourne season tho, that will be a lot more even
Guys I after warmane deleted 3 of my toons and gave the name of one of my toons to a paying mrn, I went to apolo3 cataclysm server. Why? Cuz cataclysm is beautiful and runs more smoothly except the dungeons who are a bit easier. The only thing I find wrong with MoP and Cata is that guilds abuse your time. By that I mean that if you join a guild your exping help the guild to get functions skills and money and if they don't like you they can kick you. So yeah just saying. P.s they told me in warmane to go to their site and if my toons existed to re enable them via paying them! Yeah... good riddance.
i am not agreeing that this is the real problem Warmane Arena EXP is like dealing with HeroicMode in PVE nowadays you basically play vs Computers 9/10 games. you make good reports, and you waste time on that, tomorrow you come back from a 12-hour shift to check if they still play and are still there with another big win worth 20+ wins in solo Q. Back in the days of AT, there were only a few people who were doing this you could count them on one hand. I know that this game is 20 years old and the technology is so advanced but deam I miss those times when fake casting was a thing.
Warmane is terrible. Some of the scaling is definitelly not blizzlike. You can have however lot of fun just playing battlegrounds if you are casual player. Cataclysm is definitelly better choice for someone new who want to start arenas and mop is even better since pvp gear is easy to get and it's bis.
Those are good points, but MoP can also be overwhelming fir a new player, especially the class design and enormous amount of abilities u have…scaling will never be 100% spot on on a private server, it won’t even be the same on retail as it used to be years ago, as one smart man once said - “times change”
You know why people still play it? Because the players who grind can farm up gold and sell it on the trade marketplace on their website, so they can buy whatever they want.
The most ridiculous thing is that when you play on Lordaeron, you can't buy items from shop and at the same time the PvE content is buffed (bosses have more hp and whatnot), so it is even harder to get the unfair PvE BiS items here. And BGs + Arenas are crossrealm without possibility of turning that of. If you are horde on Lordaeron and get matched against Blackrock (everyone has shadowmourne here without even buying it from shop) human pala/warr/shaman all the time, you will surely have a lot of "fun'". This isn't even pay to win. This server is punishing you for putting in the effort to playing the game the way it was designed to be played. You have an option to play "blizzlike" but then you are forced to compete with the insta lvl 80 with free relentless + shadowmourne from solo quest.

As holy pal you can get 2050 rating as full starter, if u have bis warrior in your team. I used to think the problem was in the equipment, but in fact it’s not that. I have about 4 years of experience in pvp.
@@MEYTRIX well shadowmourne is best of the best and it shoud be expensive, maybe even more... But othe other items price tag is calculated so they can keep the server up and even earn. My friend was in admin team 10yr ago... But where was way more bugs but ppl was still donating bunch...

Fair point, but you also have many arena "carries" on retail. It's not like you're buying item directly, but paying other person to play the game for yo, and it's much more higher cost. Both retail and warmane have their problems, but honestly, having quit retail after Cata, I'm very impressed with what warmane can offer in terms of "lookalike" retail wow. Btw, back in the days of the OG retail wotlk, closer to cata we've had smourne war/hpally team as low as 1300+ And after 2.1k almost every warrior had smourne.

yeah, but the new Frostmourne realm, and so also Blackrock seasonal give you a pretty good start these days, so if you're new - Frostmourne for PvE or Blackrock seasonal for PvP would be the way to go
Ive been playing in warmane mainly out of nostalgia server seem good at first but after 80 is tedious grinding not to mention overgeared players killing newly players for fun so im done with it
From own experience, and im Not a really good PvP Player, i got 1630 Rating at black Rock with a dk/retri without Donating. I think its possible to get 1800 Rating, If you really Like to improve every Game and try to avoid mistakes. But its definitely hard at 1630 or 1800 Rating when you face bis Gear Players, who are Bad, but They Deal Ton of DMG Just because of their Gear. I have 10 years wotlk experience.

I know the entry point seems discouraging but if people keep at it, eventually you'll be at the same level as p2w players. You'll 100% get stomped during your gearing process, but once you get your Furious set (gemmed and enchanted), pvp off parts and a good weapon you can definitely win against good geared but bad players (Don't underestimate how bad some people can be in warmane). Take this part as a learning experience. In arenas even if you lose all your weekly games you still get points, so eventually you'll get there. You can also farm coins nowadays which can be a huge boost.
You basically just restated a point he made in the video. Yes, you can do it, but it takes significant time, and isn't enjoyable. This is the same for new and old players.
My personal problem with warmane; is that world pvp is so bullshid. Maxed out gear folks camping flightpaths and quest areas, im like bruh, how do i advance? Do i have to join a guild and beg for help? I dont wanna look for dungeon my entire way to level cap -_-
The thing is..Warmane is not for new players. Most of ppl play wow for over 15 years. For me, warmane was just a refugee point when blizz started to go down, and I bet most of us are the same.
I would not suggest playing on Warmane, especially if you're new on the server. The community there is overwhelmingly toxic. I've played WoW since 2007 and Warmane since 2011 and have never seen a more toxic playerbase void of any critical thought of any server, which I've played many. Any suggestions on the forums that break the mold will be deleted by the HR karen staff. They allow mbxers, bots and cheaters but will ban you for using offensive language. One of these days I'm gonna make a video exposing how toxic the community really is, which is too much material to squeeze into my server review.

PVP is a small community, and arena is even smaller. There is little motivation for Warmane to implement any of the things you said, since the overall impact to server population will be next to nil. Besides, plenty of people rather enjoy the ability to obtain gear without having to grind the contents they don't like. Also, being stuck at low rating as Ret is normal. Try Preg/Holy.
true to an extent, video was made a year ago, I have played many classes and specs, but the issues are regarded as universal for players overall, ofc PvP population is smaller but you are still getting hundreds of players online at any given moment on Blackrock which is PvP only (up to some 2k at peak) + some ppl pvping on IC, Lord and FM realms too

The fact that Frostmourne's arena population isn't that high tells you the demand is not really there. I would argue the vast majority of people who want to PVP just want to have some fun in battlegrounds.

Ig running around in transmog and shadowmourne from item shop is *blizzlike* from wotlk classic too. People don't want *blizzlike* they want a healthy mmorpg. The points you made in your video made perfect sense but their staff won't even listen cause it might hurt their revenue. They basically allow cheaters (Multiboxers). But don't worry it's still 2v2 in arena, but it's meta bis combo who is just farming lows for points and pp points. I enjoy playing here but whoever is making server decisions is picking and choosing what is *blizzlike*.
@@cpayne3 they implement more new things every year to the Frostmourne realms, we’ve got mythic dungeons, timewalking, world quest rewards etc., so they don’t just strictly stick to blizzlike either
I think my message to these players is to work smarter not harder, start raiding ICC with some pve guild and farm golds make an alt sell him with boe gear and u will get 30 coins when u sell him and use coins for some of best in slot gear. Thats the way how i geared my first main character to near best in slot gear. Now i have three best in slot characters and only thing what ive paid was 10 euro for queue skip :D

i got a little story to tell, back in the day when warmane was molten like 10 years ago or something like that me and my best friend actually managed to hit 1800 and get some wrathful weapons with only farmed gear we palyed a double ret comp and we were like 12 years old not great players not a great comp but after some time we managed to do it we didnt donate an item we didnt even have credit cards back then xd but nowadays for mediocre players like me its basically impossible to play pvp on warmane as you say in this video. back then the cash shop already existed but i dont know why it was like thatit judst felt way better then. but i guess they will never get away from the credit server image they have now so yea that sucks
i play warmane aka old molten since year 2009 here is what i can tell u we can complain how much we want....warmane dont care rly much about community,same as blizzard even if they lost 4 milion players warmane is money making maschine,i believe they make milions of dollars every year and maybe even pay to blizzard not to close thier server on old arena-tournament ,todays blackrock realm i have seen gladiators who get 2.7k or top rank with full rele and beginer gear check video where pshero play rogue/ele combo on 2.7k mmr with drainerx ..the shaman is playin with actual naxx gear(nop is not transmoog is actual naxx gear) and win the 3000 mmr exp people. even i have footage where i play on 2.2k mmr elemental shaman/shadow priest with 78lvl tailoring gear vs full wrath 2.2k+ mmr people and win.. my point is ..yea u strugle.......but most of the time is not about the gear when u find new arena partner..u need play at least 3 weeks together till become good as a team im 2.5k exp ele shaman and play 14 years alredy ....i still strugle in arenas vs some combs and people...even if im full bis wrath i have lose many games vs full rele affl lock combos... just dont give up and engoy the game too much to read...but i hope u gonna agree with some of my points :D
Yeah, thank you for the feedback, I agree with you, but ofc - Pshero and Drainer are one in a milion and chances are, even if you are a Pshero, you won’t get to play with a Drainer all of a sudden, majority will struggle even finding a decent partner with chemistry, but I definitely see your point
An average player is supposed to be stuck in an average rating until he becomes exceptional that's the intent and the design of the game. Don't get me wrong I think this server is cesspool of dogshit but what you are saying makes no sense. You don't dumb down a game just so noobs can enjoy 2k MMR that's WOD and Legion. WOTLK is the last version of the game which remains true to the OG spirit. You dont want your game to be dubmed down and also Arena is not made to be for everybody plenty of people are happy with BGS and randomness that comes with it. You have to remember by the end of the day that this is a game so taking it so seriously is a time waste as was this whole video
Meytrix to Warmane: I think the shop should be through badges instead of wallet. I think you should increase your server cost allowing your system to handle a new influx of players when you kill off 70% of your income through cash shops by turning it into an emblem shop. Step one: Turn off 70% of your income. Step 2: Increase server costs to be able to handle increase of players. Step 3: Profit? = ????????????????????? -1 How about you boot the median income that Warmane accrues right now and put your plan into motion. I'm not sure you understand that this server/game isn't simply a game because you use the platform merely for that reason. You have to open your eyes up to this being a very lucrative business model that has kept peoples families housed, clothed and fed for a long time, without having to put forth too much hinderance to family time alongside having a good enough income. A good idea furthers their agenda so they'll accept it, but benefits everyone that uses the service at the same time. New idea man. We livin in the real world here.

That's why warmane destroyed only.pve server they had - season ones. Not because people want PvP, but if they made PvE only, they can't sell stuff to toxic people, which want to pay for.being best, or people.that love gank low level players.
True Cayl, there are like 5 people out of the 30k online right now that can do it, and then there are some patient ones that have been playing for so long that they got geared over time

And that is the problem - we have done the same thing since 2004, much like leveling (that’s why there are no blizzlike xp rates on privates anymore - nobody wants to do the same thing again for over a decade)
I am tired of people crying about this like spoiled brats, I have played wow wrath retail 12 years ago and I play on warmane, compared to retail version warmane is amazing, it would take you years to get BIS on classic and good luck seeing shadowmourne, donationsis fair way to keep the server alive, you think those staff members who maintain the server work for free? I have farmed my items on my rogue for 1 year I got all items and I donated just to buy xmog items, the problem isn't warmane, it is wrath pvp 3.3.5a, you can get one shot in 5 seconds, so you have to have a lot of skill and play the optimal comb to win, hunter-ret is shit end of story, better go preg with dk or priest. if the rewards on warmane were easy and fast it won't become interesting and competitive at all, I am a grand marshal for a reason i would quit if i saw everyone is getting this tittle easily.

At least on warmane you can pay 20 bucks and get the trinket and grind for other items. People made careers out of selling characters and items, now that’s a real community server.

All this shit started to happen in games when PvP gear was invented. I don't know who is the fool behind that but that ruined many games example age of Conan unchained. If I had a server I removed all PvP gear from it. All classes will fight with their pve gear dropped accordingly for their class and that's all. PvP gear was invented as a money grab and cuz some dumpfck was so bored to made the math behind the hits while you were pvping with another player wearing your pve gear. So yeah, best PvP us in low levels were non of this shit exists except the mrns with the gold wpns that searching for PvP while wearing those. In hillsbrand foothills I made an impact with my rogue 2-3 years ago earning the seargent title only from world PvP and within my levels,in one run I would destroy 3 different opponents all at once ,one of them was hunter,with my rogue and the only thing I had was a cd meter for my skills not a while ui customisation tlneither macros. Now the place there is dead,like people don't give a damn about PvP,and why I am saying within my levels ? Cya there are stupds fks out there who think that one shooting lowbies is PvP!!!!!! 🤣🤣🤣 And the stupidity was spread all over wow community!!😂😂😂 That's bs was made back in the day by some balckans in Lineage 2 where they were camping outside starting towns. That's not PvP.
true, "there is no honor in that!" (Saurfang, 2021) also, they kinda tried to get rid of the PvP/E gear in Legion, but it scaled differently inside and outside of instances, so it only made duels and world PvP a one-shot fest, which was probably the only big thing I disliked about Legion expansion 😔

The time commitment in WoW to be competitive in arena is just annoying, and pve items should have never been allowed in rated PvP. It's not fair for competitive play. They should have just had an arena server where you can play any class you like in arena/rbg without having to worry about gear IL, but rely on your skill alone.
That would be an interesting concept, but it’s the essence of an MMO , that you are progressing a character 😕 but Blackrock did a pretty good job balancing the PvE gearing too making it rating based
@@MEYTRIX actually back in the days that was normal except for Arena tournament. But for the most pserver we ve gotten full set and pve stuff. P servers weren't that progressed tho and calcs may been way to off when wotlk was a thing.

I've had a wild concept of wow being exactly this pretty much.
It's like in Overwatch or other games you can play each hero whenever you want.
But in wow unless you have a ridiculous amount of free time or you use a bot to level alts you will not be able to play each class.
And sadly not playing each class at max level will put you at a disadvantage to someone that has become it allows you to understand what each class can do on a deeper level after you've played it yourself.
Blizzard introduced that concept back in 2009 with the "Arena Pass", however it cost 20 bucks to play so it wasn't hugely popular.

Me and a buddy with significant WoW and WOTLK experience had trouble above 1500, facing BiS characters immediately. New players have no chance. It's also not fun for old players who want to gear a new character, or players that wish to spend time in Battlegrounds with how lopsided battlegrounds are alliance-favored.
Mercenary system was a good change, but it's not enough to change the heavily lopsided PvP faction problem.
I have a very similar experience, although, had I have an arena partner of a similar level that I could play with, I am sure we could hit high ratings relatively fast, but I am saying it from the point of view of a pvp veteran, most ppl are not in that position
@@MEYTRIX My problem is, that I die in a Cheap Shot, Kidney rotation with 1300 resilience. Never had any problem surviving that in AT for example. This goes for any other class. Don't seem to remember having a problem like this on 2 - 2.2k rating back in the day.
Ppl min maxed since then, or maybe they go in pve gear in which case you need to trinket and pop defensives quick, but if you survive the opener - the opponents are in trouble

this server is a shit, plagued with a scripters and full bis donors that broke all the pvp experience. Its not funny and u just cant play without a donnor at your side.
My bigger problem with private servers is that everyone focuses on 2s when the real bracket was always 3s that is barely played.
It is mostly the lacking population that makes 3s hard to play 🙁
@@MEYTRIX and that's why I could never get hooked into private servers. 2v2 is an unfair bracket where some specs had unfair advantage. For me 2v2 was never the real bracket. Whenever I had tried a private server I quit after trying to find 3v3 partners.

Idk why you only get Furi gear on seasonal when it’s already on Wrathful season, that to me also sounds like too big gap, and you also get waaay less opponents and ppl to play with, but I have yet to try it myself, so I can’t rly tell what kind of gear ppl there tend to have
if u got fury start gear its because you are on same season with frostmourne seasonal, you have to choose to be on season with blackrock and icecrown when u first log in new character and talk to the goblin guy

Hmmm that’s an interesting idea, you definitely can beat Shmourners even with basic fresh Blackrock gear if you and your partner can outplay them, that happens all the time…as for the weapon comparison, I would assume SHM is miles ahead, but I’ve never tried them out myself
Shadowmourne not only has higher weapon damage and optimal attack speed (bigger ability crits) but also has an effect equivalent to wearing an additional bis trinket. It's pretty damn good.
@@rons2094 true, but I am also thinking - different private servers have slightly different numbers when it comes to spells and items, for instance - Mortal Strike on WoW Circle hits much harder than on Warmane, so that affects the overall performance too, this might be similar to how SHM works on various servers, might be better on one server and worse on the other, not all WotLK servers are equal

WOTLK has the balance problem of Warr/HPal being overpowered in 2v2s, this is made worse by Warmane's decision to allow buying SMourne.

Don’t forget WotLK is not only WF season, on the earlier seasons there are other comps that are at the top…soloq has its own problems, but it’s super-active, especially if you que up as a healer, and 3v3 is active mostly on Sundays during event

Donation is not the only way to gear a toon in complete BIS. Mercmane also has options to make coins in numerous other ways.

On the other hand in classic WOW and even incoming classic Wotlk. We have GDKP and gold carriers in PVP and arena.
That gold is bouth for real money in some third part homepages that are not always so secure and not so ethical. There is simply not chance that you can farm that quantity of gold in game with professions or quests if you dont play the game at lest 12 hrs /day (if is not your work, yes young venezuelans can do it for you for crap salary). That GDKP raids are runed right mostly by farming companies and some guilds the get very GOOD PROFIT, the real issue in Classic, couse this an spiral with a much diffrent disparity between players that warmane pvp.
Players going to woklt with hundred of thousends of gold earned by the gdkp system. The new players, or players that didnt buy gold, will not have a chance to buy gear.
On the GDKS it can be that items are reserved on dropp. SO if the item is needed by the carriers will not be sell. The sell system they use is a BID system that usually end in the prices being very high dependend on the people on the raids. People with more gold can buy the item (disparity on gold). I would prefere something that everyone has the chance to buy and use at a fixed price regardless, and that its control of the games administrators, to something that is in control of players. So to me, if there will be any pay to win system i would prefere the Warmane system. No player can expoit it as they do in Classic TBC by now.

@@MEYTRIX look at blackrock is duble the arena point so if you reach 2k you take 2k are point +bg 150ap and if you do the 3s quest each sunday is 250 so You take 1 item evry week for the honor there is quest gives you alot and you can Also make 9 alts do 10 games you will take 4500ap which is 90k honor. So i think you over react is not that hard 😊

Issue is you start at 1.500 mmr and team 0 rating, and by the time you reach 1.8 rating you're at 2k+ mmr fighting top 4% and if you were to hover around 1.8 rating it would take you 7~9 weeks to get chest,S8 Chest,Hands,Legs and only certain comps with full rele can push above 2k mmr but usually you get sniped cuz Warmane have stupid vendors that allow you to spectate games.
that might be a part of the problem, but there is also mmr dropping, some ppl drop it, some ppl don't, so it's all over the place

This is pure speculation but it can also be possible, that privat server devs adding "hidden" buffs on some classes, like warrior or dk, so more people would buy shadowmourne i playing for 8 years now on different privat server, and it happend to often, sometimes the greediness cost their own server.
other privat server (rising gods) the pet from unholy dk does 10x more dmg than the pet on warmane, so i have to say i lost the trust about privat server and im so glad that we have classic wotlk with the orginal retail core soon

Guys I after warmane deleted 3 of my toons and gave the name of one of my toons to a paying mrn, I went to apolo3 cataclysm server. Why? Cuz cataclysm is beautiful and runs more smoothly except the dungeons who are a bit easier. The only thing I find wrong with MoP and Cata is that guilds abuse your time. By that I mean that if you join a guild your exping help the guild to get functions skills and money and if they don't like you they can kick you. So yeah just saying.
P.s they told me in warmane to go to their site and if my toons existed to re enable them via paying them! Yeah... good riddance.

i am not agreeing that this is the real problem Warmane Arena EXP is like dealing with HeroicMode in PVE nowadays you basically play vs Computers 9/10 games.
you make good reports, and you waste time on that, tomorrow you come back from a 12-hour shift to check if they still play and are still there with another big win worth 20+ wins in solo Q. Back in the days of AT, there were only a few people who were doing this you could count them on one hand. I know that this game is 20 years old and the technology is so advanced but deam I miss those times when fake casting was a thing.
Warmane is terrible. Some of the scaling is definitelly not blizzlike. You can have however lot of fun just playing battlegrounds if you are casual player. Cataclysm is definitelly better choice for someone new who want to start arenas and mop is even better since pvp gear is easy to get and it's bis.
Those are good points, but MoP can also be overwhelming fir a new player, especially the class design and enormous amount of abilities u have…scaling will never be 100% spot on on a private server, it won’t even be the same on retail as it used to be years ago, as one smart man once said - “times change”
You know why people still play it? Because the players who grind can farm up gold and sell it on the trade marketplace on their website, so they can buy whatever they want.

The most ridiculous thing is that when you play on Lordaeron, you can't buy items from shop and at the same time the PvE content is buffed (bosses have more hp and whatnot), so it is even harder to get the unfair PvE BiS items here. And BGs + Arenas are crossrealm without possibility of turning that of. If you are horde on Lordaeron and get matched against Blackrock (everyone has shadowmourne here without even buying it from shop) human pala/warr/shaman all the time, you will surely have a lot of "fun'". This isn't even pay to win. This server is punishing you for putting in the effort to playing the game the way it was designed to be played. You have an option to play "blizzlike" but then you are forced to compete with the insta lvl 80 with free relentless + shadowmourne from solo quest.

Without any problems, I reach 1800 rating for the starting character cavity, then buy pve equipment for honor points and get 2050 rating. Without Shadowmourne I reached 2500 rating. As holy pal you can get 2050 rating as full starter, if u have bis warrior in your team. I used to think the problem was in the equipment, but in fact it’s not that. I have about 4 years of experience in pvp.
Well there should be just pve gear in marketplace... But still a shadowmourne is questionable because they earn most of money from it.

Fair point, but you also have many arena "carries" on retail. It's not like you're buying item directly, but paying other person to play the game for yo, and it's much more higher cost. Both retail and warmane have their problems, but honestly, having quit retail after Cata, I'm very impressed with what warmane can offer in terms of "lookalike" retail wow.
Btw, back in the days of the OG retail wotlk, closer to cata we've had smourne war/hpally team as low as 1300+

From own experience, and im Not a really good PvP Player, i got 1630 Rating at black Rock with a dk/retri without Donating. I think its possible to get 1800 Rating, If you really Like to improve every Game and try to avoid mistakes. But its definitely hard at 1630 or 1800 Rating when you face bis Gear Players, who are Bad, but They Deal Ton of DMG Just because of their Gear.

I know the entry point seems discouraging but if people keep at it, eventually you'll be at the same level as p2w players.
You'll 100% get stomped during your gearing process, but once you get your Furious set (gemmed and enchanted), pvp off parts and a good weapon you can definitely win against good geared but bad players (Don't underestimate how bad some people can be in warmane). Take this part as a learning experience.
In arenas even if you lose all your weekly games you still get points, so eventually you'll get there. You can also farm coins nowadays which can be a huge boost.

I would not suggest playing on Warmane, especially if you're new on the server. The community there is overwhelmingly toxic. I've played WoW since 2007 and Warmane since 2011 and have never seen a more toxic playerbase void of any critical thought of any server, which I've played many. Any suggestions on the forums that break the mold will be deleted by the HR karen staff. They allow mbxers, bots and cheaters but will ban you for using offensive language. I've seen many p2w elements on Ascension too, doesn't it work like you get better rolls for spells if you pay?
Most popular servers are now Area52 and Mal'Ganis and there are free pick mode, so no random cards with spells

Bro state of pvp in warmane suck they cross blackrock pvp fun server with the regular realms in battlegrounds... When I made this a post in forums they banned me..
Yeah, it’s not the best thing, but we would be waiting for ages to do pvp on realms like Frostmourne otherwise 😔

PVP is a small community, and arena is even smaller. There is little motivation for Warmane to implement any of the things you said, since the overall impact to server population will be next to nil. Besides, plenty of people rather enjoy the ability to obtain gear without having to grind the contents they don't like. Also, being stuck at low rating as Ret is normal. Try Preg/Holy.
true to an extent, video was made a year ago, I have played many classes and specs, but the issues are regarded as universal for players overall, ofc PvP population is smaller but you are still getting hundreds of players online at any given moment on Blackrock which is PvP only (up to some 2k at peak) + some ppl pvping on IC, Lord and FM realms too
@@MEYTRIX And if people really want to compete without facing BiS, they can always play on Frostmourne. The fact that Frostmourne's arena population isn't that high tells you the demand is not really there. I would argue the vast majority of people who want to PVP just want to have some fun in battlegrounds.

@@MEYTRIX they won't add anything that isn't *blizzlike* which is whatever Warmane says Blizzlike is. Ig running around in transmog and shadowmourne from item shop is *blizzlike* from wotlk classic too. People don't want *blizzlike* they want a healthy mmorpg. The points you made in your video made perfect sense but their staff won't even listen cause it might hurt their revenue. They basically allow cheaters (Multiboxers). But don't worry it's still 2v2 in arena, but it's meta bis combo who is just farming lows for points and pp points. I enjoy playing here but whoever is making server decisions is picking and choosing what is *blizzlike*.
@@cpayne3 they implement more new things every year to the Frostmourne realms, we’ve got mythic dungeons, timewalking, world quest rewards etc., so they don’t just strictly stick to blizzlike either

I think my message to these players is to work smarter not harder, start raiding ICC with some pve guild and farm golds make an alt sell him with boe gear and u will get 30 coins when u sell him and use coins for some of best in slot gear. Thats the way how i geared my first main character to near best in slot gear. Now i have three best in slot characters and only thing what ive paid was 10 euro for queue skip :D

@@youtubeplayer5428 there are plenty of guilds recruiting with 5.5k gearscore. u need to watch global and trade chat. and 5.5k gs u can get easily in fos pos dungeons. rhc and voa pugs.
i got a little story to tell, back in the day when warmane was molten like 10 years ago or something like that me and my best friend actually managed to hit 1800 and get some wrathful weapons with only farmed gear we palyed a double ret comp and we were like 12 years old not great players not a great comp but after some time we managed to do it we didnt donate an item we didnt even have credit cards back then xd but nowadays for mediocre players like me its basically impossible to play pvp on warmane as you say in this video. back then the cash shop already existed but i dont know why it was like thatit judst felt way better then. but i guess they will never get away from the credit server image they have now so yea that sucks
this is why we play turle wow , not wrmane or firestorm where u buy items and u think u good on pvp just cuz u have those items

we can complain how much we want....warmane dont care rly much about community,same as blizzard even if they lost 4 milion players

on old arena-tournament ,todays blackrock realm i have seen gladiators who get 2.7k or top rank with full rele and beginer gear
check video where pshero play rogue/ele combo on 2.7k mmr with drainerx ..the shaman is playin with actual naxx gear(nop is not transmoog is actual naxx gear) and win the 3000 mmr exp people.
even i have footage where i play on 2.2k mmr elemental shaman/shadow priest with 78lvl tailoring gear vs full wrath 2.2k+ mmr people and win..
my point is ..yea u strugle.......but most of the time is not about the gear
when u find new arena partner..u need play at least 3 weeks together till become good as a team
im 2.5k exp ele shaman and play 14 years alredy ....i still strugle in arenas vs some combs and people...even if im full bis wrath i have lose many games vs full rele affl lock combos...
just dont give up and engoy the game

Yeah, thank you for the feedback, I agree with you, but ofc - Pshero and Drainer are one in a milion and chances are, even if you are a Pshero, you won’t get to play with a Drainer all of a sudden, majority will struggle even finding a decent partner with chemistry, but I definitely see your point

An average player is supposed to be stuck in an average rating until he becomes exceptional that's the intent and the design of the game.
Don't get me wrong I think this server is cesspool of dogshit but what you are saying makes no sense. You don't dumb down a game just so noobs can enjoy 2k MMR that's WOD and Legion. WOTLK is the last version of the game which remains true to the OG spirit. You dont want your game to be dubmed down and also Arena is not made to be for everybody plenty of people are happy with BGS and randomness that comes with it. You have to remember by the end of the day that this is a game so taking it so seriously is a time waste as was this whole video

Meytrix to Warmane: I think the shop should be through badges instead of wallet. I think you should increase your server cost allowing your system to handle a new influx of players when you kill off 70% of your income through cash shops by turning it into an emblem shop.
Step one: Turn off 70% of your income.
Step 2: Increase server costs to be able to handle increase of players.
Step 3: Profit? = ????????????????????? -1
How about you boot the median income that Warmane accrues right now and put your plan into motion. I'm not sure you understand that this server/game isn't simply a game because you use the platform merely for that reason. You have to open your eyes up to this being a very lucrative business model that has kept peoples families housed, clothed and fed for a long time, without having to put forth too much hinderance to family time alongside having a good enough income. A good idea furthers their agenda so they'll accept it, but benefits everyone that uses the service at the same time.

Generating profit in short term but risking going bankrupt or not open up for long term profits just hinders your ability to be flexible and evolve. It is just greed no one can tell me if they added the mechanis Meytrix said they would go bankrupt. lowering your profits for a stable long profit run is always the move, otherwise this server will be dead in 2-3 years. Impossible to play 2s there seriously with all those bought BIS chars.

That's why warmane destroyed only.pve server they had - season ones. Not because people want PvP, but if they made PvE only, they can't sell stuff to toxic people, which want to pay for.being best, or people.that love gank low level players.

True Cayl, there are like 5 people out of the 30k online right now that can do it, and then there are some patient ones that have been playing for so long that they got geared over time
I only consider Shadowmourne P2W. And literally 8 out of 10 warriors/DK's/rets have it.

I am tired of people crying about this like spoiled brats, I have played wow wrath retail 12 years ago and I play on warmane, compared to retail version warmane is amazing, it would take you years to get BIS on classic and good luck seeing shadowmourne, donationsis fair way to keep the server alive, you think those staff members who maintain the server work for free? I have farmed my items on my rogue for 1 year I got all items and I donated just to buy xmog items, the problem isn't warmane, it is wrath pvp 3.3.5a, you can get one shot in 5 seconds, so you have to have a lot of skill and play the optimal comb to win, hunter-ret is shit end of story, better go preg with dk or priest. if the rewards on warmane were easy and fast it won't become interesting and competitive at all, I am a grand marshal for a reason i would quit if i saw everyone is getting this tittle easily.

At least on warmane you can pay 20 bucks and get the trinket and grind for other items.

All this shit started to happen in games when PvP gear was invented. I don't know who is the fool behind that but that ruined many games example age of Conan unchained. If I had a server I removed all PvP gear from it. All classes will fight with their pve gear dropped accordingly for their class and that's all. PvP gear was invented as a money grab and cuz some dumpfck was so bored to made the math behind the hits while you were pvping with another player wearing your pve gear.
So yeah, best PvP us in low levels were non of this shit exists except the mrns with the gold wpns that searching for PvP while wearing those.
In hillsbrand foothills I made an impact with my rogue 2-3 years ago earning the seargent title only from world PvP and within my levels,in one run I would destroy 3 different opponents all at once ,one of them was hunter,with my rogue and the only thing I had was a cd meter for my skills not a while ui customisation tlneither macros. Now the place there is dead,like people don't give a damn about PvP,and why I am saying within my levels ? Cya there are stupds fks out there who think that one shooting lowbies is PvP!!!!!! 🤣🤣🤣 And the stupidity was spread all over wow community!!😂😂😂
That's bs was made back in the day by some balckans in Lineage 2 where they were camping outside starting towns. That's not PvP.
true, "there is no honor in that!" (Saurfang, 2021) also, they kinda tried to get rid of the PvP/E gear in Legion, but it scaled differently inside and outside of instances, so it only made duels and world PvP a one-shot fest, which was probably the only big thing I disliked about Legion expansion 😔
