Just let us get the preview cam in a live match for smokes, and don't render anything but the map in the smoke preview cam. Now you can line up on the fly without the need to practice lining up pixels on the map.

I don't play CS2, but I've been playing R6S for 9 years (am a bit of a masochist, I know) and I'm so jelly of the good-looking visuals of this game- The rain effects, the water, the light... gosh this game looks so pretty
To be fair R6 is very pretty too on very high settings actually, I just miss the old visuals... it used to be very realistic, now it's more arcade looking, but nevertheless still a very modern looking game!

Idk about new train tho. Played 2 Games yesterday. And it feels like it got quite a bit more T sided. In both rounds the T side won like 90% of the rounds. Also literally every round people went A. I saw 2 attempts to go B in around 40 rounds played. But maybe it is just because the map is new.

Might be the 1% who likes the method of rain effects they implemented, but personally think it's more realistic to have rain visible around illuminated spots, lightbulbs, etc, and not consitantly everywhere, cause usually rain is transparent. But I will say it's not realistic how you can't see rain in front of darker areas, or with simple ambient light, but then again when was the last time a modern CS map had little, to no lighting (needing nightvision). Honestly, I like the new Train version. Something about it feels like the early 2000s. The graphical effects and map designs are genuinely beautiful for a competitive shooter.
I won't be happy until they bring back community surf servers, putting on some relaxing music and just gliding my worries away was so much better than stressing myself out with cas/comp

The bombsites are terrible, anyone who disagrees will have an opinion that ages like milk once the map is inevitably updated. They've some how managed to make the map more open and restricted at the same time.
They should add ricochet sound when a headshot registers on the shooters client but misses on server side. That way the headshot animation can play and you will still know it was a miss.
i really like the new "design"(? of videos, with you talking to the camera from time to time, i think it makes it more authentic it makes it seem like more informative, dynamic and it adds some depth to an otherwise repetitive gameplay background
I have to be honest, I never played train on old CS games. I watched lots of pro games on it. However I've been looking forward to Train (with some trepidation in lieu of... issues) and played it immediately. I love it. Played it over and over again 10 times in a row. Had an absolute blast. Amazing map. Plenty of tricks to employ. Beautiful work.
I've been saying for ages. They should add the feature from the souls games where players can add community nades and up/downvote good ones. Would also remove a lot of the effort from valve having to go and manually add all the line ups themselves. finger but hole

I haven't played cs2 in a while and just assumed the prediction was an automatic thing. Kinda important for headshots since you may give that information when it didn't happend. That smoke practice and the jump throw preview are great. Especially the jump throw one since a lot of smokes are throw. Also i like that is standarized in the game, a lot of videos have set ups that flat-out don't work. Maybe it's an aspec ratio thing or something, but it's nice to see everything in one place Cool video dude

I haven’t had the time to play the new Train yet, but honestly, from what I’m seeing, I’m liking the route Valve took. I see some issues, especially on Popdog, but that’s an opinion based on what I’m seeing without testing.
I played one faceit game on the new Train today. In terms of playability it does feel more competitive, but also less forgiving for the CT’s. Especially A. It is far and far too easy for T’s to rush out. The CT’s have literally no wiggleroom on the A-site. Holding Olof from bomb train can be done from only two angles. Besides that you can stand inbetween first and second (first-and-a-half?) But then you’re already off the bombsite. Lastly you can hold a sightline into Olof from Ivy, but the Ivy player already has an entrance to worry about. And don’t even get me started on on holding A from connector. I feel like the A site definitely needs some revamping. B-site has improved I must say, and new Popdog does play really well & fair.
Yeah the new layout for Train is really bad. I played a couple games. The walkway to B long is gone for no reason I understand and theres a weird camp spot behind the hut they put in the way. You can still get up there and get a timing on the T's but its just weird that this was changed, I dont see how it makes the map better. They also removed heaven from what I could see, and the A site is way too open now with less trains. The door to old bomb being closed is another really weird decision. And lets not even talk about pop dog, I dont know whose idea that was but that person needs to be fired. Its also way too easy for T's to get out from A main now, you cant really push to electric anymore as CT at the start of the round and the huge diagonal train in the center means you can only try to hold main from the corner near Ivy. Just really weird decisions that only make the map worse. Its still playable but all these changes are bad. Please give me the Train from CSGO back.
I really want them to put the massive logo back on the wall on B site of Train. The new one is horrible, tiny and boring. I think the site also needs some work as it feels too empty at the moment. Other than that, the changes are ok. Making the corridors wider was a good idea. But I think some areas are a little too cramped or poorly lit. And they need to fix the ladders!

Just really weird decisions that only make the map worse. Its still playable but all these changes are bad. Please give me the Train from CSGO back.

I really want them to put the massive logo back on the wall on B site of Train. The new one is horrible, tiny and boring. I think the site also needs some work as it feels too empty at the moment.
Other than that, the changes are ok. Making the corridors wider was a good idea. But I think some areas are a little too cramped or poorly lit. And they need to fix the ladders!
