Can you do a tutorial on how to take these amazing pictures. I just got a Sony a6000 and I’m trying to learn the basics on car photography like what modes to use or anything that’s good for car photography
Hey everyone! Im looking to do a video where you submit your photos to me and I edit them! You can send me 1 unedited photo (raw/jpg) and also tell me a little about yourself and your instagram name! Ive always wanted to do a video like this so I cant wait to see what you send me! Send photos to photos4patrickedit@gmail.com
Hey my guy I got the Same setup . Any tips on your camera settings. I feel like when I got mine used they messed them up pretty bad I’ve went through and did everything to my knowledge.
Great shots. New to this and have an A6000 with the 55-210 F4.5-6.3 and 16-50 F3.5-5.6. Would you recommend the 50mm F1.8 for car photography or are the two I have now capable of the same thing? Also, stupid noob question but are you using the zoom on that 50mm lense at all or using it at it's fully zoomed out length? Any downsides to zooming? Thanks!
I would definitely recommend picking up the 50mm f1.8! The 16-50 kit lens isnt the worst, but when you're on the 50mm end of it the aperture is all the way at 5.6. So you wont get as much blur in the background which i think is the main draw of the f1.8. Also the 50mm cant really zoom at all since its a fixed focal lengh lense. 50mm is the only focal range you get when shooting raw photos. However for video sony offers the digital zoom which can be used on fixed focal length lenses to give you some extra reach.
@@PatrickS. Yeah I'd love a telephoto but also a prime, idk tho if it is worth getting for example a 50mm 1.4 if I already have a 18-50 (prime in the range of my zoom)
@@sushibali6522 Ya it would be a tight focal lengh to shoot, you should checkout some videos about that and see what other people say! In the end I'd either say the 85mm or the tamron 70-300 would be an ideal next lens for you to add to your collection!
Where i live you can get an a6000 for around $350. Id say very worth it for the price, takes great images still. I'd use the extra money to pickup a good lens like the sigma 56mm or the sony 50mm. Both great lenses for cars
I’m about to buy a 50mm 1.8 for my Nikon z5 I’ve hear all good things about the lense and this video really shows it

Oh that first photo after he moved the car was a toasty one
Hey bro nice shots ! I got the a6000 and 18-50 2.8 what 2nd lens would you recommend?
I'd say maybe the tamron 70-300! Telephoto lenses are very fun. I'd also maybe suggest one of the sigma trios, F1.4s. The 16mm the 30mm or the 56mm.
@@PatrickS. Yeah I'd love a telephoto but also a prime, idk tho if it is worth getting for example a 50mm 1.4 if I already have a 18-50 (prime in the range of my zoom)
@@sushibali6522 Exactly, your zoom already covers a good range. If you'd like a prime lens, Viltrox makes a 85mm F1.8 that ive heard is quite good!
@@PatrickS. Yeah 85 would be cool tho on apsc it's pretty tight but it would make a big diff with the 18-50

Amazing photos i'm about to buy a sony A7 II and sony 50mm F1.8 for car photography. Did u edit ur photos on lightroom? or are those standaard
Thankyou! Yes I edited them all in adobe lightroom!
@@PatrickS. its a bit expensive for using it ones or two a month :(
Is this the lens including in the kit when u buy the Sony Alpha 6000?
The 16-55mm and the large 55-210
No this lens doesnt come with the a6000 usually. That would be the 16-50 kit lens.
Opinions on the a6000 camera? Worth it for the price?

are you using a filter as well?
I use a circular polizer filter for car photography, helps cut down on reflections
