I feel all the Omenpath stuff going on right now is building up to Bolas' return. More likely than not, Ugin's spark is gone, and there's a way out of the Meditation Realm for Bolas to slide right on through

There's a bit of a difference in that these are fictional characters. Saying "I want more bolas storylines" isn't the same as saying "I want more Dahmer stories"
Speculation time! Perhaps in the future we will see a new set of Eldrazi Titans, and in this event Sorin will once again seek out Ugin for the Spirit Dragon to aid the multiverse with the Eldrazi. During this time, Nicol will regain his power(or convince a plansewalker to help) and leave this realm to regain his power, this time starting with not even a name
