I think most of the people here gonna watch the first two minutes and rage in the comments. Listen to the full video and you will know what this guy has to say.
they made the yellow smaller, because yellow is a very bright color, so in our perception it is stronger than the other colors. There is nothing wrong with a basically yellow logo, but I think google wanted the colors all to have the same perceived visual weight. That's basic color theory, you can read in any book about colors.
QKwoep that sounds plain stupid... if the video was 10 mins would that cut off your pleasure watching the video? Besides making money was never a bad thing. How are you respecting his inability to maximize his own personal gain (im not saying the video was bad, it was rly informative and interesting). Making a 10 min video isnt bad. Specially if it's by a content creator.
I would be angry if someone made a 9.25-minute video and stretched it out just barely over 10 minutes for the purpose of ads, even if the video was still good and informative.
When I was studying typography and logo creation, I sometimes spent more time finetuning letters and logos like this than coming up with them. Deliberate "imperfections" make stuff interesting, but the sweet spot can be very slim. Loved making fonts, but it's kryptonite for perfectionists. You work hours making letters slightly thinner or thicker, and when you put them in a text and look at it from afar, they stick out as too white or dark. But you'll only notice 2 days later.
I wish I could love this video instead of just liking it! As a designer this whole situation really pisses me off, most people outside the business have no idea what optical corrections are, not everything needs to be perfectly mathematical. Eyeballs and brains are tricky and complex things!
TforTrouble But if someone outside of the field looks at it and thinks it's off that means the someone in the field messed up. The person outside probably doesn't know the real cause of the problem but the insider should look for it.
i worked in powerpoint on my ui design i kept trying to allign the letters perfectly and then i zoomed out and noticed how they aren't the same size and no matter how much i zoomed in to get them the same size the result were still looking different sizes now i know why, i thought something was wrong with powerpoint that he text wouldn't stay the same size even if i zoomed in.
+NMT: In the old days UA-cam had "Like" and "Favorite" actions. You can still make a public "Favorites" playlist and hit "Add to" to add a video to it, though.
What more do you suggest? I don't want exactly to be a "graphic" designer, but i do want to be a web designer. So... If you have some suggestions of more concepts like that i would appreciate. :) PS: sorry for any grammar errors. English isn't my native language. >.
There's a lot of concepts, but I think you are on a good way, if you care enough to watch educational videos. Best would be some school or courses since there is so much stuff all around it. I am not a native speaker as well. :')
Falafel I never said that he shouldn't get respect if his video was over 10 min all I said was that we should appreciate the fact that he did not strech the video even 45 seconds.
To be honest... I absolutely love this and love google even more for this. There's something perfect about creating something imperfect. This whole theory goes for both music(sound) and logo designs. Thank you for making this video.
To be more specific, it's because the width of the blue part of the G just before it turns to the left is too thick on a circular one. You can see where they've made it the same thickness as the rest of the G in the official one.
I must confess, embarrassingly, I *nearly* did what many do, and nearly clicked "dislike" ... but then the calm, gentle voice of reason and patience said _"watch the whole video, don't be foolish"_ ... and it's a good job I did - what you described are aspects of typography which I'd never deeply considered, but had always observed. Thank you, Sir, God bless you :) You are superb, and have just gained another well-earned subscriber. Matthew, England.
Argf, He is probably a designer, so for them it is common to feel uncomfortable when there are silly mistakes in logos/designs. Tho the mistake in this video wasn't a mistake actually, google just did that intently.
wow this explains so much. Im an illustrator, not a graphic designer, but the way it explains why what we perceive with a naked eye is more important than being mathematically perfect... interesting concept indeed
You should do a video on the Pokémon Moon logo, it's soo good! It's an icon of a moon within a moon within a moon and utilises negative space flawlessly. As for Pokémon Sun, I haven't stared at it long enough to see what it has to offer
And here I thought the problem was the yellow being to small and equal to the rest of the colors. I like it being not a perfect circle but when you changed the yellow size, I like it a lot better. It just looks so lopsided with the red leaning on the yellow.
Eh? I'm just inputting my view on the situation, nor was I disagreeing with Will about it. I literally just stated "It's a G, not a fucking circle" not towards anybody or anything. I'm sorry if you were offended but maybe if you could understand my intellectual sentence structures and use of pronouns then _your_ life would be much better. Thanks.
Thank you for saying this! Every time I see one of those Google logo memes I cringe a little inside because I know the typographic principles behind it.
Perhaps you should watch videos to the end before making assumptions - your behavious reminds me a lot of the muppets making assumptons that the logo is 'wrong'. It demonstrates immaturity not knowledge. It's easy to criticise. Try offering your opponent the respect of understanding their position before shooting off half-cocked.
Very interesting observations. At first I was annoyed with the new logo, but it's making more sense. It's crazy how such a geometric font like futura isn't perfectly symmetrical
Ayush Kumar yeah of course it’s a G, but futura was designed as a “geometric” font which means round letterforms (Os, Cs, capital Gs) are theoretically perfect circular forms. But as Will demonstrates, the font designer didn’t make it just perfect because of optical balance. I just thought it was interesting and felt like mentioning it *shrug*
A comment by Beate Zeuner above - "They made the yellow smaller, because yellow is a very bright color, so in our perception it is stronger than the other colors. There is nothing wrong with a basically yellow logo, but I think google wanted the colors all to have the same perceived visual weight. That's basic color theory, you can read in any book about colors."
Personally, I preferred the colour-blocks the way you made them. But I've always been one for symmetrical designs. The shape of the G, however, I completely agree with you about the whole optical stabilisation.
Those nerds? Google was invented by nerds to the nerds, so thats a weird thing to say. Also now days it's the nerds that a getting laid, as its the nerds that run the world now.
All the articles that came out saying it was wrong were really bothering me, thanks for addressing the intentionality in the logo and the basics of typographic design. Well done!
For me a logo doesn’t have to look „perfect“. It should fit to its brand. And those weird lines inside of the „G“ somehow symbolizes to me the unconventionality of Google.
The intention of google was to create a G like a circle but they can't do it, because of optical estabilisation or eye balance Sorry for my english. Greetings from Machupicchu, Perú
You should’ve put the symmetrical logo beside the other letters so people could actually see how much it overshoots to the right. I think some people weren’t able to perceive it.
I understand your point and I agree in most, BUT I don't think that a logo where a considerable amount of people wonder "something's wrong with this, what is it?" is perfect
Big point that's being missed is that from a branding standpoint you make word and letter marks slightly off because 1) that insures trademark and 2) makes it easier to distinguish copycats though the second reason has become a bit moot with recent technology, it is still very much part of the tradition.
It's pretty interesting that they did the same thing on ancient Greece temples. The columns where often buldged in the middle ever so slightly so that it looked perfectly straight to the human eye.
Well done, I'm reminded of lessons I learned from working with my typography mentor from Yale, at that time the process was done by hand. My students will love this presentation.
Subscribed. I'm a communication design student at Otago Polytechnic, and you just managed to make my youtube viewing some AWESOME research and homework into Logo design! :)
This was a really interesting video! Just so you know, this is more about type design than typography. Type design is the creation of typefaces, while typography relates to how text looks on the page, including what font is chosen, but also where the text breaks, how the lines are spaced, etc.
People who came here, read the title, watched only the first few minutes, and gave it a thumbs down are people who don't agree with what the title suggests. This video is not for them because these people already know and agree with all of what was explained in it. It doesn't matter if they give a thumbs down, because this video aimmed people who agree with the title and tries to explain why they are wrong by educating them on some design concepts. By changing the title you would please people who downvoted the video. But they were never the target
Well, *Gee*, for two years, I always thought that it was a perfect full circle. It's basically a nightmare for some designers, or people diagnosed with OCD. Me? The now aware cat likes it even more. You learn something more interesting everyday. Speaking of logo changes, will you make a video for the new Patreon logo?
I can't find anyone complimenting this video, besides people defending the video from people who didn't watch the whole video, guess I'll be the first? Tnx for explaining all this 'optical balance' and all that, I actually taught it was unnecessary, keep it up my dude! :D
You were correct with all of this, however when you said "the L and E stand out a lot" is also because when you shrank the other letters they were moved further away from the L and E as well. Just though I'd point that out.
because color weight, yellow is a very lightweight color and if you increase the area too much it will get lost with the background thus messing the readability, since it will mess with the open space of the G which should be on the right not on the left so it read as a G, also that's why they have the green at the bottom cause is a solid color it acts as a base, but blue is more solid than green tho thats why they use it on the right to compensate for the yellow on the left and to define the arm of letter G. you should consider turning the logo to grey scale so you can see the values.
This is why you don't generally want to use new fonts from all these popular sites. Anyone can sit down and produce type these days but very few people actually know what they're doing, there are so many layers and so few good sources to learn from
@Will Paterson Why is it that no matter how rude a person is, you will still love their comment if they _agree_ with you? You need to actually look at the comments you are hearting.
I agree with you on the matter of the shape of it, but honestly the colour balance on the "fixed" version just looks way better. They really should have had the yellow span a quarter or at least close to it rather than whatever weird smidgen they've decided to dole out to it. Like I get that the point of it is to line up with the indent on the end of the G, but it just looks weird.
Wow, to be honest this is the first of your videos, or any typography videos, I have seen where I am generously impressed with how much you are educated on the subject and craft, lots of respect to you and your work!
yeah that and saying it's MATHEMATICALLY wrong seems like a bit bs too. Since something can't just be wrong. Like saying 2.2 is wrong because it's not 2.5.
baesj try to recreate the logo with the font that was the base for the new Google font (Product Sans is deriative from Windelsham Pro). Google has good reason to change the G.
_Spatial Distribution Perception_ Rather than saying it's not mathematical, it's probably more precise to say that our sense of perception is comprised of more-sophisticated criteria than primitive geometric constructs. RIP OCD LOL
I was actually messing around with letter logos in illustrator and i discovered that very recently about letters being optically balanced. It was very interesting that i bumped into this video just a couple days later
the reason the crossbar in the E is higher is to align with the other letters x-height. A good rule of thumb: The most legible typefaces used to set pages within books usually employ a typeface with a large x-height. This increases legibility and causes less strain on the eyes which makes reading a 200 page book much easier.
I like the way they did same thing to colors. Green and yellow are unseparable, yellow is too bright and heavy, that's why they decided to oversize green in cost of yellow. I really like that logo. Great clean, minimalistic work.
People wont use adblockers unless ads become less distracting and comes with sound in mute by default. Ads in the middle and and end of a video are bearable. But, at the starting of the video ! Urgghh
With the optically balanced 'G' I don't see a G. I see a circle with a chunk bent inwards. With the actual logo, I see first a 'G', and then I realise the aesthetics in its geometry, which is what Google probably intended.
Idk, I agree that the Google logo looks better than the "proper" version, but it doesn't look significantly better. Just ever so slightly. I think the "proper" version is actually a little more satisfying to look at because it's "perfect". I also like that the colors all seem to be evenly distributed in the "proper" version compared to the official logo. But to be honest, this wasn't a problem until it was presented to me "hey look, it's not a perfect circle and the lines don't match up". I didn't know that. Now I do, and it bothers me extremely.
not necessarily, optical adjustments, like in typography are made with the eyes, of course you have some guidelines, but ultimately is your eyes that make the decision. it has to be perceived as a perfect circle, not be a mathematically perfect one necessarily
The Nintendo Switch logo isn't asymmetric for any aesthetic reason. It's asymmetric because the actual controllers the logo is based on in real life are asymmetric and they're asymmetric because symmetry is not comfortable or ergonomic for your hands. It may be true that visually it looks better than if it was symmetric, I don't know about all that, but that's not why it was done that way.
he's talking about the width of the rectangles. why do people assume they know things without actually checking out the source material, it's unbelievable
Iceypumpkin head he isn't "concerned" about it. He spends most of the video defending the logo. The first two and a half minutes were just for context.
I think most of the people here gonna watch the first two minutes and rage in the comments. Listen to the full video and you will know what this guy has to say.
watched it full, mesmerizing
Gierlang Bhakti Putra I'd love to be able to forcibly read your comment to these people.
Gierlang Bhakti Putra I
I did but the font still triggers me
It's like he just came from doing a Kingsman play for weeks

Beate Zeuner yeah
He literally says that two minutes in.
Sam oops skipped a bit around so i must have missed that...
That is why everyone targets yellow team ;3;
Sam watched at two minutes again and if i wasnt paying no attention at all, he didnt say anything about the balance of yellow
I respect that this 9 minute video picking apart a logo wasnt stretched to 10 minutes for ad revenue.

Mathematically Wrong. Visually Perfect.
Agreed
my new motto
I wish I could love this video instead of just liking it! As a designer this whole situation really pisses me off, most people outside the business have no idea what optical corrections are, not everything needs to be perfectly mathematical. Eyeballs and brains are tricky and complex things!

Although it's kind of nice to see that you have a leg up on many people out there claiming to be experts.
i worked in powerpoint on my ui design i kept trying to allign the letters perfectly and then i zoomed out and noticed how they aren't the same size and no matter how much i zoomed in to get them the same size the result were still looking different sizes now i know why, i thought something was wrong with powerpoint that he text wouldn't stay the same size even if i zoomed in.

ikr
I wanted to like this comment, but it had 666 likes... And I couldn't change that
PICKLE RICK pfft, yeah, I can
I didn’t even know it changed
A
I only watched this because UA-cam was being really persistent in recommending this to me for at least a week.
I've had to do that at least twice each month this year, honestly Google is like a five year old.
I don't want to watch you and your math is wrong.
Just press the three dots next to the video and tell UA-cam you're not interested. Problem solved. Saves you 9 minutes and 14 seconds.
It's been like stupid persistent. It kept showing up in my recommended for the past month and today I finally caved
Google is interested in showing people how smart it is
piss
Nicely done. If it looks straight, it IS straight (Jimmy Diresta)
Anyone who wants to be a graphic designer or typographer should know this. It's basics.
Bluee Berrie true!!
What more do you suggest? I don't want exactly to be a "graphic" designer, but i do want to be a web designer. So... If you have some suggestions of more concepts like that i would appreciate. :)

I am not a native speaker as well. :')
Okay. I'll follow your tips. Thank you!
But most people are not so they dont know about this
His perfect circle G looks like a really good power button symbol that has been rotated by 90°
Naveication yeah this actually it basically no longer represent google.
This really shows how much time is spent on perfecting logos that we usually don't actually think about!
“Let’s do a side by side comparison” *zooms in on one at a time and flicks screen around a lot*
Respect to this man for not making his video 10 min
Prathusa Fast ❤️
So, if the video was 10 minutes long, you wouldn't respect him?
Eskilo No, it is just respect for not giving a shit about the money.
Prathusa Fast I don't see why that matters.
Falafel I never said that he shouldn't get respect if his video was over 10 min all I said was that we should appreciate the fact that he did not strech the video even 45 seconds.

Why was this recommended to me??
Razin Shaikh i shared a pic of this on facebook and this popped up
I don't know.
Cuz its awesome
And if you comment on a video youtube counts it as interaction and recommends more similar ones
Razin Shaikh, cause it's trending.
the “perfect” one looks so much worse ahaha
Greta Master of the Galaxy I liked the colors better😕
I don't know why but because of the yellow it looks way emptier somehow
I'm an autist. I fucking love the perfect one.
Do you actually mean autist or do you mean artist?
ターニャ Both

You are superb, and have just gained another well-earned subscriber.
Matthew, England.
YOU COULD PLAY A DRINKING GAME: DRINK EVERYTIME HE SAYS "Optically balanced" or "not just mathematics"
Everything is gonna look optically perfect then.
Well, its not a perfect circle because its a fucking letter G, not a circle...
there's a difference when the letter happens to be a logo
is there? its still a letter G
point
Gabriel Maranhão Watch the video until the end
Gabriel Maranhão watch the whole video dumb fuck
THANK YOU! I cringe every time when I see posts on how the logo is wrong lol
Renaldo Xhahu ikr 😂

Argf your attempt to argue makes me cringe

Leave a like for no reason Please I watched the video, his statement still works had watched it all. Really, him saying that is like he's agreeing.
Leave a like for no reason Please If you take the time to not be a snob, maybe you would have been able to understand that.

skeptic moderate same 😂
“Optically compensate”. I have to steal that.
No good asking me
!!!!!!!.kidding? No, really.
Its G not a circle.
I love thigh high socks. Watch the whole video please.
MsPurplebutterly I think he was just addressing that in the first place why do people even expect it to be a circle when it's a G.
I too love thigh high socks.
RIGHT! I was saying that to myself the whole time!
ikr
Nice One Will !!
You're welcome
Thank you! :D
Wow. Text to Speech here?!
You here fucking osm
I made a video "fixing" everything wrong with the new Google logo, and it just looks out of place...
HOW DO YOU NOT HAVE MORE SUBS????
Ben Thunder ok
its literally IN this video lol
it does...

Wow only if I knew this when making bo2 emblems with letters, it never looked quite right
that's why i never used letters for my own logos haha ;p
Very interesting observations. At first I was annoyed with the new logo, but it's making more sense. It's crazy how such a geometric font like futura isn't perfectly symmetrical
Optical vs geometric design can be very interesting sometimes

The only thing that really bothers me about it is how unbalanced the colours are
Me too.
It looks so lopsided
Yellow is a stronger colour in our mind and green the weakest
It makes sense
LARAUJO nice profile pic, James is a sexy little boy

steve vansteenbrugge why bother explaining it to these guys. I was laughing at the joke till I saw the other replies.

Google (1998-2015): We can help you to search it.
Google (2015-Now): WE WILL ARREST YOU!
This is some googleception
going through the comments is such a wild ride huh
yep
Thank you for this! I learned a lot!
Good video. This is why companies employ focus groups and not just advice from people who completed a graphics design course at a community college.
For me a logo doesn’t have to look „perfect“. It should fit to its brand. And those weird lines inside of the „G“ somehow symbolizes to me the unconventionality of Google.
Lars / LGK May I question your strange ,,quotes?“
FalconM&M What do you „mean“?
Lars / LGK I think that they use quotes like „that” in German, and it looks quite ugly imho. Did I get it right, are you indeed German?
Απόστολος Τουλούπας Yes, that’s true, I am German. My iPad keyboard creates those quotes automatically when I actually just type “. 😉
Απόστολος Τουλούπας it's used like that in almost all of Europe..
G is not a perfect circle, it’s not supposed to be
The intention of google was to create a G like a circle but they can't do it, because of optical estabilisation or eye balance
Sorry for my english. Greetings from Machupicchu, Perú

Oh sorry, i mustve blanked out on that part
Springlock Bunny Thing That's what Xander Vane already told him, can't you read??

You should’ve put the symmetrical logo beside the other letters so people could actually see how much it overshoots to the right. I think some people weren’t able to perceive it.

I honestly don't see a difference between Will Paterson and Ed Sheeran! :P
How can a logo be wrong? It's a logo.
Joel Ratchford yeah haha
If google want uneven circles than let them have uneven circles!
this comment deserves more likes.
Joel Ratchford yea exactly
This comment is more better than this shit video

not quite, dys
Clorox Bleach What a shit name
You could just click "Not interested"
You don't need to watch the video

Clorox Bleach I'M NOT GONNA DRINK YOU
I don't know that I like this whole optical balance thing... Actually......no ive changed my mind this is very informative and quite cool

um, G's aren't circles?
Pathetic Gamer explain
Pathetic Gamer what? G's are not circles
'G's are not circles
Yes I did watch it lol, but I'm just saying it's not wrong.

This was a really interesting video! Just so you know, this is more about type design than typography. Type design is the creation of typefaces, while typography relates to how text looks on the page, including what font is chosen, but also where the text breaks, how the lines are spaced, etc.
Is this the reason that when I center text it doesn't always look like it's centered so I move it off to the side because the L is open etc
The only thing 'wrong' with the video is its title. You could've saved 1K dislikes if you would've chosen something else as a title. Liked.
The title isn't wrong, what is wrong are the people who jump to conclusions without watching the video itself
Eskilo no hot cognition isnt wrong its unwanted and isnt needed but its not wrong
He could've saved dislikes by choosing another title but would he get as many views?
Gabrieleiro If only big numbers are important for you, you are just a superficial dude that can't promote his work without false advertising
Personally I love the logo, yeah it has some flaws but I think it feels like their style, great vid.
OH GOD! I like the perfect version way more and now i think normal logo looks weird!
First!
3rd
haha ;)
😂
classic
*throws blue shell*
I can't find anyone complimenting this video, besides people defending the video from people who didn't watch the whole video, guess I'll be the first? Tnx for explaining all this 'optical balance' and all that, I actually taught it was unnecessary, keep it up my dude! :D
You were correct with all of this, however when you said "the L and E stand out a lot" is also because when you shrank the other letters they were moved further away from the L and E as well. Just though I'd point that out.
YOUR FACIAL EXPRESSION WHEN THE CIRCLE DIDN'T FIT KILLED ME HAHAHA
Ok i agree the non perfect one looks better, but i still dont see why they dont match the red and green ends. That looked fine in your version
McKaos it's nice to have some asymmetries imo
Makes it look more personal
because color weight, yellow is a very lightweight color and if you increase the area too much it will get lost with the background thus messing the readability, since it will mess with the open space of the G which should be on the right not on the left so it read as a G, also that's why they have the green at the bottom cause is a solid color it acts as a base, but blue is more solid than green tho thats why they use it on the right to compensate for the yellow on the left and to define the arm of letter G. you should consider turning the logo to grey scale so you can see the values.
I don't see anything wrong with it. People are just overreacting, such major bandwagons
Ppp
My guess would've been that asymmetry gave it the subtle personality that google tries to achieve, but your perspective made a lot more sense
This is why you don't generally want to use new fonts from all these popular sites. Anyone can sit down and produce type these days but very few people actually know what they're doing, there are so many layers and so few good sources to learn from
This was super awesome and interesting! I learned a lot!
You can't be serious!
How stupid do you need to be to think thats educational?
You are a bloody discrace!!
But why would it have to be a circle...its not a circle its a letter "G"
Ethan Cox watch the entire video, shitface
Please, please, please, please, please, watch the entire fucking video
Ethan Cox lol
Maybe because people associate the logo with a circle seeing how it is almost a circle? Have some logic.
There is NOTHING wrong in the logo. Not everything should be mathematically accurate.
Maurice Hason you watch the video or just read the title?
a logo should at least be pleasing to the eyes
yeah that and saying it's MATHEMATICALLY wrong seems like a bit bs too. Since something can't just be wrong. Like saying 2.2 is wrong because it's not 2.5.
baesj try to recreate the logo with the font that was the base for the new Google font (Product Sans is deriative from Windelsham Pro). Google has good reason to change the G.
Yeah it is art
“Mathematically it’s wrong but optically it’s correct”...
I must say I find your mathematically recreated logo much better looking than the actual logo, but that might just be me being odd
Both versions of text look nice. That math consistency gives it a geeky charm.
_Spatial Distribution Perception_
Rather than saying it's not mathematical, it's probably more precise to say that our sense of perception is comprised of more-sophisticated criteria than primitive geometric constructs.
RIP OCD LOL
Interesting! I learn something new everyday. :)
Is my logo ok? :D
No its horrible...jk its swell
Minimalistic... i like that
I cannot believe in my eyes, literally
I like the way they did same thing to colors. Green and yellow are unseparable, yellow is too bright and heavy, that's why they decided to oversize green in cost of yellow. I really like that logo. Great clean, minimalistic work.
sometimes what *looks* perfect isn't actually perfect and what *is* perfect doesn't look like it
How do you get that motion blur tho.
I watched a 10 minutes ad for you
jared swartz I regret I used adblocker
I use adblocker, but it is OFF on youtube, cuz I like youtubers...
People wont use adblockers unless ads become less distracting and comes with sound in mute by default. Ads in the middle and and end of a video are bearable. But, at the starting of the video ! Urgghh
I use adblocker on my Pc as well as on my android Device
Ken B how do you get the adblocker
I can't get past the fact that the fixed version just looks much better to me.
With the optically balanced 'G' I don't see a G. I see a circle with a chunk bent inwards. With the actual logo, I see first a 'G', and then I realise the aesthetics in its geometry, which is what Google probably intended.
It’s a logo. It doesn’t need to make standards. It’s stupid though. Like it doesn’t have to be a proper circle. Get real
Watch the video
I didn’t notice it,
You made me develop OCD now.
It shows that secretly they are constricting our ability to recognize something crooked.
is there math behind this?
not necessarily, optical adjustments, like in typography are made with the eyes, of course you have some guidelines, but ultimately is your eyes that make the decision. it has to be perceived as a perfect circle, not be a mathematically perfect one necessarily
Harryacorn2 Thats not what he meant
he's talking about the width of the rectangles. why do people assume they know things without actually checking out the source material, it's unbelievable
No the Nintendo switch controllers are horrible it's in comfortable to hold it with one joycon wayyy to low
Ausintune you must have some tiny hands
I do love how one joystick is on top, and the other is on the bottom, it actually helps with gameplay a lot
:D
Google made 2 phones and a vr headset, meanwhile this guy is concerned about google's logo being uneven
Iceypumpkin head he isn't "concerned" about it. He spends most of the video defending the logo. The first two and a half minutes were just for context.
some starts the video: it can’t be that big of a mess me when he starts drawing the lines and circles: oh God it’s a mess
