*Hello everyone, I wish you a happy Chinese New Year, I wish you all success and good health,, wow this atmosphere in Thailand is so very beautiful and really amazing, thank you for the video happy eating🥰🥰🥰*
Ah lovely Ban Rak Thai! We stayed at the Lee Wine Ruk Thai resort 3 weeks ago. Highly recommended, it's a wonderful place to stay and a Tea lover's paradise! It was fantastic being back in Thailand and we love your Restaurant recommendations!
There's SO much "coffee culture" in Chiang Mai now, it's good to see some old school Tea culture up north west! Nice place, even though the sinks (!?) Love to spend an afternoon at the tea shop!
the tea plantation in Chiang Rai reminds me of Mae Salong. there are several other KMT villages in Chiang Mai established by the Yunnanese migrants including the one on the road to Doi Angkhang. some of them have a tour of their villages and Doi Angkhang also offers the traditional Yunnanese cuisine. Sri Lanka also offers this kind of resort overlooking the green tea plantations in the form of the colonial bungalows including the traditional English hi-tea meal serving scones with jam and clotted cream, sandwiches and macaroons. the famous Dilmah tea brand offers this kind of resort programme. if you are in Nuwara Eliya, you can stay at a hotel overlooking the majestic Ramboda Waterfall.
Mark you are awesome your simplicity and adventurous life inspired us so much you are such a blessed person .... Keep goin and we keep on watching your videos 🥰
Such a bright and idillic place. The view from the hills of the village around the lake with the low morning mist feels so peaceful and relaxing. I absolutely adore northern Thailand and I may have to add a visit to Ban Rak village to my next trip.
Thanks for this amazing video - such a peaceful tea plantation, love to visit sometime in the future. TC Mark n keep your great video's coming. Lots of Love for you n your family. Happy Chinese New Year 2022 to all our Chinese folks.
Excellent it looks really beautiful. Maybe it was more expensive due to Chinese New Year and people taking breaks for this holiday, and enjoying additional lantern decorations around the resort, looked so lovely.
I love the room. I would enjoy visiting the tea shops. That black and tea In the room was so beautiful. That would make a great visit. I love the different teas. 🍵🍵🍵🍵🏝️
Informative review. Helps to have Mark's perspective on what he appreciated about the property and to point out the highlights that would make it a memorable experience.
Thanks for your video, I really enjoyed the exotic atmosphere and beautiful villa. I went to this village with my local guide from Mae Hong Son, and just stopped over my lunch, and tea, I walked around myself...Hopefully, I'll revisit it again. I went to another Chinese village from Pai, also a cool place, with a Chinese temple and the Chinese zodiac of murals.
Thank you for this review Mark. I tried to look at availability but nothing comes up unfortunately. Fingers crossed the place is open for bookings again soon. It looks amazing.
Great location Mark. Really liked the clean design of the penthouse room. Did you manage to get any night time footage or photographs with the lanterns lit?
I did it again i found a new 🎥 I have literally seen them all ty Mark for your humility , 👌 👪 man , and your unique facial expression. Hi Ying 👋 Lil man Micah 💋
Hi Mark, I absolutely love your videos. You always give the entire experience which enhances each of your videos! Thank you. I notice many times when you say "breakfast" it's usually more main dish meals (ex. Noodles, rice, curries, etc.) that in Western Culture may be more likely to be ate at lunch or dinner. Is this the norm for "Asian" culture? (Please note that I mean no disrespect using a blanket phrase (ex. Asian, I just know that it seems that far beyond Thailand has this same practice). I hope you and your family are enjoying your travels and are safe. Also, as you've been traveling does the protocol for quarantine seem more extreme or relaxed outside of Thailand (other Asian providences) or coming into the US.
You don't even have to speak Mark ,your drone and footage speaks volumes ,the views are lovely .But the food we need you .But if that's a bed test pass i'm a giraffe ,just saying 🤦♂️😁This coffee thing does make me laugh 🙄😁Sorry.I still love you and the family 🙏
Salute to all of the people living in this area, it is such beautiful place to live. I hope one day I can live on that kind of environment too, not a busy town or city...
Damn Mark, you really make me want to go back to Thailand! I really didn’t do it justice the 1 time I went. The food is extraordinary with only Indian cuisine coming ahead of it (IMO). What a beautiful village and equally beautiful food, thanks man 🤟🤟🤟
$140 seems kind of expensive for thailand, that should include tours etc… that tea looked yum what an amazing resort, i thought you were still in the us haha
Dear Mark. We Love all of your channels!!! Our only suggestion is to Slow Down a bit. Relax. Please also show us a bit more of your lovely wife and son (if they are willing) Again we so much enjoy your videos, Thank you!!!
hey mark. have you ever thought of doing a channel that displays the content from the main channel, this ome, big on spice, etc from the trip in one long video? i would love to sit down and watch a 1 to 2, even 3 hr video of your trip if it was an option!
I was there in Dec 2021 (winter season) and this is the best time to visit. However, there are lots of people driving their 4x4 from all over Thailand to come here here during this season too. To book this resort in the video and the Chasa resort (the 2 best resorts here), you will need to call and book months in advance. If not, there are many basic guest houses that you have to book by calling them in advance. I was almost stranded in Ban Rak Thai without an accommodation because I didn't book in advance. Although there is a walking street, but it was basically empty when I got there. Mark also missed out showing the Mookata spot along the lake on the other side of Lee Wine Rak Thai resort (walking street side). IMO, 1 night is enough as there is nothing to do after dinner and there are no entertainments there.
@@effie-Toronto For Lee Wine Rak Thai resort and Chasa resort, they have a booking website for foreigners. They should have a number to call and they can speak very simple English. For the mid-range guest houses, you can open up Google map and do a search, some have a number to call. They probably cannot speak English. As for the budget guest houses, they are not on any websites and some may not even have a number to call. I stayed at a budget guest house and it cost 850 Baht.
Beautiful place and the food presentation looks awesome..
I think Mark likes the nature and greenery a lot. Whenever gets home he Spends time in nature. Lovely location 👌
Thailand is on my bucket list!

I think he learns by nature method.
