In case anyone is interested this market is best on a Sunday. Go at around 8am. Pre-covid it's 4-5 times larger than in this video. Live music as well as face painting/finger painting for kids. Great way to spend an hour or two, and a must do if you haven't been before. My favourite food there is Lucky's Vietnamese creme caramel, and Mum Mum crispy pork! Chiang Mai is my home town.
The produce at this market was so astonishingly beautiful... i literally felt like crying. Pea eggplants, giant red emperor mangos, galangal, Pennywort... we don't have these treasures in North America! I love Thailand but I especially love this channel ☺️

Mark we are a BIG fan of you here in the State. We work 8hrs a day wearing our mask for safety. We tell our customers to wear them all the time. Your show is shown all over the, and we would like you to be a GREAT example of wearing mask and following the procedure. Yes, we take out the mask when its time to eat, but even when we are drinking coffee, water or soft drinks, we wear it after sips. We love your show and more power!!!!
Everyone's commenting on how we don't know the situation in Thailand, but everyone else had their mask on properly. There has to be a reason for that and why Thailand took such great measures to stop COVID-19 from the very beginning, Mark has no excuse. Wear your mask properly.
Thanks for making this video of my local market. I live just across the street and go here every weekend for breakfast. It's a great place to sit under the trees enjoy food, coffee and the atmosphere.. Sunday's are better and busier. Love this place.. a hidden gem of Chiang Mai.

Mark, please get in the habit of keeping your mask fully on. One can clearly see that you are the only one in that market constantly removing your mask (to expose your whole face) as you narrate. This sets a really bad precedent for future travelers and visitors to Chiang Mai feeling entitled to do the same. You can continue to do quality videos and trust that people who admire your work will be just as engaged if you lead by example. Especially on this channel that focuses on healthy eating. Let others believe this mask doesn’t work. It works in Thailand and we are enjoying our life now in a country which is pretty much covid free. They laughed at us the first few months we were wearing mask. Now they are following what we did, but almost 6 months too late.

Mark pls keep your mask on. You should not be putting it on and off especially if you could be asymptomatic and then you keeping your mask down can expose all of the people in the market. The reason to wear a mask is to protect yourself and others. Pls watch Bill Nye’s explanation as to why wearing and mask and KEEPING IT ON is important. Thank you so much Dan, appreciate your support. Keep up with the positivity, you are an amazing person!
I have always wanted to come to this market but been to Chiang Mai twice but I always have to leave on a weekend. Huhuhu. But thanks Mark for featuring the market. Now it makes me excited to go.

Mango sticky rice please
Pom rak mamuang
I would have freaked out if I was at JJs and saw Mark and his family! 😂 this market is great, but crazy popular. Lots to eat and buy. I use to go once a month, but I have decided to distant myself for now. Mark is making it tempting to go soon! Sunday early is the best time to go. Parking is insane. Take a Grab and big bag for your purchases.
Mark please please cover your face not only to protect your self but others please
Olga Molina agree
Whenever i am watching mark's vlog, there should be food on my table. 🥰😊😋
No use wearing a mask if you're going to pull it down on your chin.
These kind of mask dont even work for covid 19
We don't have Covid here but thanks. We are already way more cautious than Europe or US.... and no new cases for 55 days.
Let others believe this mask doesn’t work.
It works in Thailand and we are enjoying our life now in a country which is pretty much covid free.
They laughed at us the first few months we were wearing mask.
Now they are following what we did, but almost 6 months too late.
I’m in the US and we certainly have no room to criticize. I’m at risk from immunosuppression and many people here say people like me should just die 😢...and I’m a doctor.
@@ytreece u went to medical school for 9 yr...show us why.. don't let what others say about u affect u if u know it's not true..Thank for being Courageous during this time..ur Amazing..For helping out ppl that are going through these tough times..
Love this channel! Love that you're focusing more on fruits & vegetables! Vegetarian/vegan friendly & Earth friendly too! :))
I wish I could travel around the way he does.... It's still a distant dream!!!
Anyways... Loving the Thailand series... It's amazing😍
I love that you’re featuring more vegetarian food! ⭐️⭐️⭐️
That mango made my mouth water! I'm from the Caribbean and I've never seen them that size. I love all the organic produce. I'm thinking I could have a really good quality of life in Thailand and who knows, maybe one day I can move there.
Come and live with me I love black women. You will have a wonderful time here.
Mr.Mark seriously passionate about spicyfood, he even level up his game by finding spicy way to drink smoothie.
As a nurse watching you do this it is an insult and scary that you could be contributing to this pandemic.
Berna Galiza I think he’s doing it so we can hear him better.....I guess it’s hard while videoing but valid point
That mango looked amazing. One of my most favorite fruit.
Mark please wear mask..STAY HEALTHY & SAFE
Delicious mango😋mouth watering! Keep up the great work!❤️💯
I like how Thais cut mangoes, anyway i have videos about THAI EXOTIC FRUITS too,
Thank you very much for visiting Jing Jai Market.
Look forward to welcoming you again. :)
mark i love your content but ask that you please keep your mask up ... you are inadvertently putting other people at risk (of course not intentionally!) just for the sake of good audio.
I love to
Lol are you serious
My husband and I really loved your show.. specially when you say Oh Wow you making him laugh...I like Thai food because I like spicy food.....I'm Filipino....I like when you go to philippine I've seen those show too.
Oh this was filmed just this month? Thats some nice masks :D
They are his own design I think, cool huh?
not doing much with his mouth and nose exposed for the entire video. might as well not wear it!
