I think they should have kept the flashing mode for automobile problems such as a changing a flat tire and using those magnets to position the light. The water tight rating would be useful when changing that tire in the rain.
Wish it was a flexible 90 segree head onstead of just 180 or 90 degrees. That way you can flex the light for optimal lighting whatever you position the light.
has the wireless charging been improved from the kickstarter version? I see that there is still a wireless charging feature there but since the case no longer wirelessly charges, then can it still be used with a universal wireless charger?
QUESTION! If I have this in my pocket with change, a knife, whatever… and it touches both terminals on bottom, will it short circuit? Will it burn me and explode. ? Genuine question.
Nah, removing the red strobe was super silly and completely needless. edit: Decided to buy another one...that green started calling to me in the middle of your video lol - so I tried to use your coupon code but it no longer works. Just an fyi.
Nice size, cool features, so so charging (But I can live with it). However, the pocket clip is a deal-breaker. It is totally for show and almost entirely useless. Almost half the damn light sticks out of your pocket. The name of the game is deep carry. I don't want a Pocket knife that sits an inch and a half above my pocket, or a flashlight that does the same. Wuben, fix this.
This light is perfect the way it is. I'm constantly working on machinery in less than ideal light so to be able to clip it to a shirt pocket and have it light the area is awesome. Not to mention, you could rotate the light and clip it to your ball cap
No usb port, only a stupid charging dock and useless wireless charging receiver. This thing is dead on arrival. Could have been the best light of 2023. But it has no typeC port so its useless and cumbersome.
We all have different needs. Some people drive a van, some a truck, and some a two door sedan. We do not all live the same lives and we do not all have the same needs. For me and my personal use cases, having a usb port is cumbersome and only provides another failure point. I prefer a wireless charging system be it standard wireless or magnetic. I’d have to be an idiot to assume you should drive the same vehicle as I do because I have no idea what your needs are. Not for you, understood, still a great tool for many others.
agree 100%. I know I’m going to ruffle feathers here, but I question the true EDC chops of anyone who carries a rechargeable flashlight in 2024 without a USB port. I don’t care how cool they are or what other features they have
They need to make a super-charged Wuben X2-II with interchangeable /replaceable battery + charging case
I can think of a lot of uses for that light. I would’ve loved to have that clipped to my pocket to see what I was writing on dark scenes.

exactly what I was thinking, pretty bummed they got rid of that

Awesome light, just purchased the white X3. How good is the glow in the dark?
It’s not bad. Doesn’t last very long

Yes the light will charge if you put it on a wireless charger. I had an issue with that with the Kickstarter version
Díky!
thank you!

No it won’t.
700 is kind of weak. My E7 is smaller and 2.5 x more powerful. I guess this one might last longer?
How's the durability? I read a review that after 5 months, it stopped working.
Mine is still working
How to turn off the charging on the dock?
The charging case has a power button. The small dock just has a cable plugged in. Just unplug it.
@@ChrispyThings the retail dock keeps charging. I tried double press. Still continued to charge it
Do you have the one with two white emitters?
No. I haven’t see that version at all. The only versions I’ve seen are the white and red emitters
Anyone else find that it gets kinda hot after a few minutes? Not even at it's highest brightness.
What is the red light good for?
It’s used a lot by hunters to see
Nah, removing the red strobe was super silly and completely needless.

Oh really? Thanks for letting me know
@@ChrispyThings No worries. Hope you get it taken care of.
@@ChrispyThings Working now, btw.
Have Uv light?
Well since you watched the video you can tell me if it does.

Nonreplaceable batteries? It's like buying a car with every feature you could think of that has one tank of gas and cannot be refilled.

i thought exactly this, ill stick with olight
Its why i will not getv1 its so stuped there has 2 be a reaon somet about money
@@illestmpdOlight also has no usb port so how is this better? I love Olight, I’m just curious how Olight is different in this way.
