My 2025 Equinox LT with option packages is two months old. The many safety features are great and I keep all of them active. Features like the heated windshield wipers and auto rain sensing wipers were once available only on Cadillacs. Lots of audio features and usb ports, yet, no HD FM radio is available. The Equinox is well built and solid. The ride is comfortable and fairly quiet. More "how to" information regarding the many features would have been appreciated. More physical knobs/buttons to control lighting would have been good. I have to page through menus to control the fog lamps. The included manual has many pages regarding child safety seats. I like being able to choose between two and all wheel drive. I find the 1.5 liter engine more than adquate, although I understand that a low power output problem can arise. No recall yet as far as I know. The Equinox has good acceleration and it handles well.
We just bought a new 2025 Equinox LT W/awd in Cacti Green with the White top. Optioned in 360 cam, evotex seats, heated seats, powered tail gate, etc, etc. we luv driving this car!!
The instrument screen is touch screen. More things to go wrong. When your driving you need to be focused on driving not trying to find settings on a screen
I've noticed that $1085 tech option gets you the very nice surround view camera and also the camera rear view mirror and universal garage door controls BUT every sticker I've seen says "universal opener not installed" and they credit $50. Does anyone know if LATER they will install the garage door opener part when it comes in? Or is the buyer just without it forever?
The rear doors do not open up as wide as on my vehicle. If a person uses that hole for the seat belt to lower the rear seats excessive will take place, The cup holders in my vehicle are long way. That way two people can put their arms on the arm rest. The shifter looks cheap.
This Vehicles Downfall is the lack of a 2.0 Turbo engine found in the Cadillac XT4. No need for the Shark Fin feature on the sides of the vehicle, same for the Traverse. Chevy needs to adapt the interior Of the new GMC Terrain.
Sunroof is a must have! Life is short, enjoy everything when you can. When something breaks, just fix it! Dont make enough money to fix it? Get a better job!
After what GM has done to their factory workers and not putting any quality into any of thier vehicles I will never support gm. I had a 2001 cavelier in for service.I got it back with a flat tire, my brake pad came loose. No thank you.

I get 36 mpgs. Cant get much better than that!
If you want a big engine buy a Tahoe buddy! Plain and simple dawg!
