    I am tech savy yet this printer has been a nightmare to get printing. Still struggling with it.

      @@HPSupport I've tried both on the phone and the lapgtop. Pritner is just not working. Makes perfect copies. But can't connect. Says printer is offline or not connected.

      @@HPSupport Thanks for your response. I've already bought and unboxed this printer. And at the moment, can only use Bluetooth for printing. Plus, it says Bluetooth on my Android phone can be enabled for printing. Anyway the Bluetooth can be made to support printing on Envy 6000e, or do I need to return or discard the printer? I don't use Wi-Fi. Thanks once again.

      For most HP printers released after 2014, Wi-Fi Direct is a connection option that does not require an internet connection to send print jobs wirelessly to the printer.

      You only need to create an HP account one time and sign in to use functionality in the HP Smart app.
      Your account can be used for multiple HP printers.
      HP makes it easy to create an account by only requiring your name, email or phone, and password.
      HP does not require any payment details when you create an account.

    I have a Hp Envy 6020 e, printer can it be used as a stand alone printer (ie) not connected to Wifi and not plugged into computer, as at the moment when i put something in the top to be printed all that comes out is a Hp headed print, say this printer is not connected to a network. thank you.

    Exactly what kind of USB cable do I need?? I looked into the hole and I've never seen that shape of plug,

    I was able to connect my neighbors iPhone, her iPad so easily, but cannot get her new HP desktop to connect to this HP printer. I know I’m doing it right because I have the others connected. When I hit the flashing I information button, it just hangs there for more than 15mins, cycling but never establishing a connection. Did it multiple times with the 2.4 and 5.0 options from her router. Put in her isp address another time. It will not connect from computer to printer. I would like help. Also deleted the whole printer from the pc app and started over several time. Has to be a solution.

    This process was a total headache to shovel unnecessary subscription software down customers' throats. You could have posted instructions to avoid this (shipped with the product and online) but because we live through what Cory Doctorow calls the "enshitification" of technology we get this instead. Absolutely pathetic. Your management must be getting all their repressed anger out on customers because they work for such a mediocre company.

    I have a desktop (without Wi-FI)and I used to print on the HP printer without any issues but I changed network and now it doesn't work anymore

      This document explains how to reconnect a previously installed wireless printer to the network if you changed your Internet Service Provider (ISP) or purchased a new router. When you change network settings such as the network name and password, you must also reconfigure the printer for those new settings: bit.ly/33rmqRM

      Didn’t work for me either. Piece of crap. Horrible experience never had such a horrible experience with a printer. And I’ve dealt with computers and printers for years. Returning this crap right now. Wasted so much time.

    WORS'T PRINTER I HAVE EVER HAD. I HAVE WANTED TO DUMP IT SEVERAL TIMES BUT KEPT TRYING TO MAKE IT WORK. NEVER, NEVER WILL I PURCHASE A HP PRODUCE AGAIN.

    God this is the most overly complecated piece of shit for no reason, I am a very computer literate person that has no idea what these sounds mean, the flashing lights mean and anything, I'm trying to reset the wifi and it wont flash purple, why doesnt this just have a screen to input the wifi in? Like that would be so much easier and simpler

    Don't buy this printer it will cancel your printer from working if you don't subscribe to instant ink it won't work at all until u pay for the instant ink subscription. The have total control of ya printer. Don't waste your money buy u an old school no wifi no subscription u want to print than it prints if ya print ink is low it will still print. Headache. If u cancel it won't work until the end of the billing cycle. Don't buy I'm warning u

      This is the worst printer I've ever owned. I've owned it for over a year, and STILL have NOT been able ti set it up. There is absolutely no troubleshooting solution for this junk. DO NOT PURCHASE this JUNK
