My goal for May is to schedule at least one day of PTO time to use as a mental health/self care day. I tend to be a workaholic and I need to do better at finding more work/life balance while trying to reach my financial goals.
I’m here listening to you each time you post. I just don’t comment all the time. I wanted to thank you for being one of my greatest inspirations and an influence for me. Thank you for showing the lows and highs. My whole family loves you. You’re the greatest. Blessings to you 💜🕊️
May is about keeping my head above water, my bestie is getting married early June so anything extra is spoken for. June however- tackling the remaining balance on my car.
I paid 1/3 credit cards off in April. It was my lowest balance credit card but I gotta start somewhere! My next one is scheduled to be paid off by June and the last one by the end of September. It’s so hard not to get impatient but I’m happy with how I’ve become wiser about how I use my money. I use to blow money like tomorrow for no reason. Never again. I work too hard to not have my money work for me 💪🏾
I just had my man run to get me some food. I said I only have $20 for the month and I can’t blow $12 of it tonight 😂 my personal money goes for eating out also. We were just talking about how the food ($13) costs the same for two coffees at the local coffee shop! It’s crazy how fast it adds up. I have a Delongi espresso machine ($120) and a Nesspresso milk frother ($30) eBay used. I can make the best lattes and iced coffee at home. It’s been a game changer. If you buy organic whole beans (I got espresso) from Target Good and gather brand. Make 2 oz of espresso per shot and bam 💥 Only enjoy coffee out with friends or once a month.
I thought you had done a painting technique on your wall. It doesn’t look splotchy. My may goals are to pay off one credit card and pay down another, to purchase a vehicle (before my current one leaves me stranded), and continue to build my emergency fund and account buffers.
I am down to my last two credit cards, one medium the other BIG. I’ll be moving into a less expensive apartment where I get a couple of months rent free and my security deposit back in full. If all goes well (no unexpected expenses), I should be able to pay the smaller credit card off in full in July. Being down to one credit card🎉🎉🎉
My journey has not been easy at all, but I can say that i was able to pay off an account from the 8 accounts I have to pay off. I will be getting that book to read it!
Yaaassssss! I am reading this book as well. I never finished it so I picked it back up from where I left off and it is helping me as well its a great book highly recommend as well. I am so proud of you dyana your able to anything you put God and your mind to. Everything your saying sounds so much of myself and I feel the accountability
Congratulations on being down to one credit card. I have a total of nine and I’m down to four. For the month of May I am trying to be down to five credit cards paid off
Can I just say, you make this whole thing so relatable 😭 Been struggling with convincing myself that I don’t want goals, or I don’t want more for myself (better career, freedom, life qualify etc) like living in a “this is fine” meme haha 🐶 🔥 🍵 but it coming out in just spending & spending & spending on random things that I know aren’t making a real difference you know? 🙏🏼 😔 vs making a pivot, thanks for the atomic habits book recommendationnn 💕 and thanks for being here 😊 👋
Saving a pile of money can definitely not be the goal! This is something I learned recently when I started to feel like nothing I was saving was enough. I actually had to start spending money to shift my perspective. Why are you stashing all of this money when things are needed!???
Hey Dyana, really nice video ! I was wondering if I could help you with Best Quality Editing in your videos better than your Editor with good pricing and also make a highly engaging Thumbnail which will help your videos to reach to a wider audience ? Pls let me know what do you think ?
Well done! I need to finish the book too so il get back on it..☺️ I have a similar issue with you and the coffee but mine is sweet treats but how is it a treat if I have it multiple times a day 🫣 so that needs to stop…. Well done on having some personal funds left! We are going away mid May and I’m trying to not spend my personal funds so I have extra spending money ❤
My new goal is debt free by June. I am 6 months behind schedule, but I never give up.
I hear you

Pay down credit card debt by $600 and decrease utilization to under 30%. Pray AND fast in May.
