I concur totally! Suite Judy Blue eyes is the very first song I ever heard from them and I listen to it constantly during the '70s. I have to say that foxes and fossils version is by far the finest I've ever heard of a cover! I was hooked for life.

Since you asked, the bassist on this cover was Ross King, the little brother of their former bass player, Scott King, who passed away in January of 2022. RIP Scott and welcome, brother Ross!
Scott King played and recorded this bass track. Scott Kale was out of town for an extended period, so unable to video him, and Scott King was unsuccessful trying to send video to Tim per Scott's comments under the video .
Been following this band for a long time amazing vocals .

The bass is being played by Scott King who died of prostate cancer in Jan
Every bassist instantly recognizes how good he is. Other musicians are not far behind in seeing Scott is awesome. Hell, even non-musicians see his next level chops. I miss him a bunch.
I believe the lead guitar and backup singer is named Darwin. Pretty special guy!
Darwin "Dar" Conort. Friends with Tim since they were kids. Played in several bands together thru the years.
The Graham Nash-style harmonies make the performance soecial.

Hi guys, although I grew up in New Jersey, my Dad was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, so I have a special affection for that city!! Suzi, forgive a slightly off-topic question, but how do you get your lipstick to stay so perfect? I used to wear a vivid shade of lipstick similar to yours, and in addition to of course fading, smudging, and getting on my teeth, the most maddening thing was that shortly after I put on the lipstick, dozens of tiny lines of lipstick leak would start appearing on my upper and lower lip, I think you call that, "bleeding." How do you avoid this?

Scott, the Bassist has just entered hopice care and is not expected to last long. Cancer.
That is sad to hear. May they be able to carry on when he does pass.

@@demonhoopa Don't know if you've seen the video posted last night, but Scotts brother Ross,also a fantastic bassist and Richard Meeder (also excellent) and who played bass with The Mustangs before Scott will be their "guest bass players" going forward. A big loss for the band members. Darwin had first met Scott in the 80s, John played in a band with him in the early 90s , he joined the Mustangs in 2001 so Tim and Toby had known him over 20 years. He loved great female vocalists and shared a lot of music and cover ideas with the girls and was instrumental in getting Chase to join when Maggie was busy in Nashville. A dear friend to each of them.
