I haven't flown any of the Corsairs in their current state, but one thing I always did was use the landing gear as an airbrake, it doesn't rip until around 700km/h, so it might help with increased compression.

My man pay attention when takeoff and landing lmao, had alot of matches ruined cause i just throttled up, point my cursor up (or atleast i thought so) then alt tab to a yt vid (cuz grinding with jet bombing is boring asf)

I just spaded this plane and wow that was brutal. 100% agree on the guns… when I first watched your video I didn’t really believe just how bad they are. But you’re so right. Stealth was the only belt I could make work for me.
F4U-4B got a similar treatment recently. Power at the deck went down a bit, but in exchange you get way more power all the way up to 6.7km. It completely dusts the D-13 up there now. The guns are also workable, finally (20mm buff).

@@Feradose it's not recommendable to go down anymore with the corsair, you have to use it now like a 109 and boy I can tell you it toys with 109s at slow speed now.
This is a CAS fighter, and in that role its peerless. Three separate 1k Bomb drops and 114 SNEBs, not to mention the cannons. Le Corsaire is the King of CAS and rules the skies of Ground RB from 6.0 til around 8.3 when you start to see some viable helicopters, more refined early jets, and Radar SPAA.
Not happening lol, do you have any idea how heavy that engine is and how much horsepower it puts out? Also the corsairs are literally famous for their heavy armor.

They do a LOT less damage now, I just started watching but for example the 109 at the start might've been at least crit from the very first hit, and the crit that happened after probably would've killed him instantly.
Too bad the Corsair's aren't what they used to be in War Thunder. They're my favorite aircraft of all-time but in War Thunder they just keep getting worse and worse. I remember when the 12.7mm was actually pretty effective. Judging from your video, the AN/M3 is a worse gun as the AN/M2? In which case I can expect to be slight disappointed with the F4U-4B I will soon unlock.
I got the f4u-4b a few days ago and the guns are fine imo. No real difference from the 1C. Any hit is either a crit or a kill, and head ons are pretty easy
the new f4u 4b flight model is amazing. I had once a bad time and decided to stop going for reversals as before. The thing can literally dogfight 109s and out rate them under certain situations, the flaps are amazing as well. Another slow speed monster, just as I like them.

That 109 flipping around is that in part due to sim control manipulation? It looks like they were getting full deflection to full deflection, and it also looked a bit too mechanical. Maybe is a macro? Is there also a way to lag the system like that? That again seems like a manipulation that could be done by introducing a connection issue, I would guess. I just see that a lot more time and time again. Don't want to say hacking, when you can probably abuse the system which WT players are so used to doing. Awesome tips, you always inspire me to want to play and play well. I uninstalled though a good while ago. I just tilt like crazy at so many things.

But that is why I asked numbskull, if there is something online showing how it works, show me. It looks arcadee. I also just seen a video about how it is manditory for people to use sim controls, and that is often how the same plane at same altitude same energy state can out turn the other. That is not a mechanic per se, that is more like an exploit. At least until it becomes common knowledge, but there is a lot of shit like this in war thunder, if it wasn't for the community it is hard to tell if anyone would know anything. That is why I come to these channels, to try to get better, and at least understand what players are doing so it can be counterable.

I love how these dudes sit on your 6 but dont really hit you... whenever anyone ever has a shot on me, even if it doesnt look like it, they just de-sync the shot into me and instantly blow me up. That's why i absolutely hate prop planes. i usually have around 20-30ms ping but enemies just shoot off at absurd angles due to de-sync...

Flat spinning on air RB is a good punishment, but for symmetric dueling it's straight up unfair... unless you really want to get stuck into an endless rate fight.

@@2552legoboy The instructor can force you into flat spins. You, the player, cannot fully override the instructor unless you fly with a joystick where it is completely off the entire time. Thus it is entirely possible for your aircraft to do something you didn't want it to and it enters a flat spin with you the player not only doing nothing wrong but you doing everything in your power to try to prevent it from happening.

The compression is especially annoying while doing CAS. Also I’ve been having better luck with ground targets belts than air targets belts against planes

You shouldn't take the belts with the most bugged rounds... I always run Universal belts for the M3s or AN/M2s and even with the bugged HEI shells they are still decent because of the AP rounds.

It can just drop landing gear and be in perfect turning speed. This thing just eats Ta 152s, especially in higher altitudes

Yes because at the time you reach lv.100, you get really sick of top tier and probably want to play at a BR where some amount of fun is allowed
Not to mention people might want to start research another tech tree line.
lvls dont mean anything anymore, buying premium etc boosts your lvl significantly.
Levels never meant anything beyond you unlocked a certain number of vehicles in the game.

@@kingghidorah8106 i only mean if you watch your flight you can see what put you in the flat spin in the first place. in this case you can learn from your mistake and avoid repeating it, its what makes this game great . some planes flat spin easie than others such as the p39 and 63 as im sure u know
@@2552legoboy The instructor can force you into flat spins. You, the player, cannot fully override the instructor unless you fly with a joystick where it is completely off the entire time. Thus it is entirely possible for your aircraft to do something you didn't want it to and it enters a flat spin with you the player not only doing nothing wrong but you doing everything in your power to try to prevent it from happening.

Basically bit less of power below 1km at low speeds and more power at high alt.
It also fucking overheats now. While the other planes with the SAME ENGINE have a 10° higher overheat threshold

The compression is especially annoying while doing CAS. Also I’ve been having better luck with ground targets belts than air targets belts against planes

4B is the same as 7 but 10 minutes of fuel lighter. F4U-4 is the same but lighter and worse engine setting.

You shouldn't take the belts with the most bugged rounds...
I always run Universal belts for the M3s or AN/M2s and even with the bugged HEI shells they are still decent because of the AP rounds.
AN/M2s are still fine, the M3s are the one with the bugged HE.
