I do think people underrate Raidraptor, since it disables half of the handtraps anyways with Raider's Wing, and since Ash, Droll and Nib doesn't really hurt you much, it is not that hard to get to Rising Rebellion as some people might think. And if you get there it is incredible hard to out it, so I do think Raidraptor ist extremely underrated and also dirty cheap and a lot of fun to play.
Marincess is super fun and my go to deck. I put 3x Aegirine and 3x Sea Nettle into the deck for extenders and Gymir into the extra(aegirine and nettle are both aqua for toad tributes too). Goal is go into bahamut by summon 5 prior to anemone forcing nib, then playing anemone after to still get the link 4. Won a few locals with it. Once the new trickstar angel comes out, the deck can force bahamut summon 4.
I was actually testing raidraptor for my locals this week, and I still need to be used to the combos that I can make. I can still make three towers so I think it’s a good strat
I personnally think raidraptor could be higher in terms of ceiling, notably because it has lines to get to 2-3 towers through droll nibiru or ash, and the deck is quite resilient, but i think it does take a really good player to fully exploit it so...
Keep in mind though if you’re building Tenpai. Paidra is still $10, so without Dragion. Fenrir and Paidra are the money cards. Everything else is cheap cheap 👍🏾
To me, Fire king is a deck that with the Right pilot can do a lot. Pure fire king is about 30 bucks, that leaves room for a lot of money to be invested to upgrade the deck (wich can be upgraded a lot).
I think you underestemate the ways that ice barrier can play through handtraps, opening just revealer already plays throught nibiru by making toadally awsome. if you open revealer + mirror mage you can already play through 1 ash/impem/veiler, if you open revealer + hexa + any extender you can do the same, opening swap frog or icejade ran aegerine makes you also able to do something when interupted and the card winds over the ice barrier also helps.

I think putting Traptrix on "Takes a good pilot" is wrong since the deck is actually pretty easy to play with so a lot of people would be able to play it to its potential
Lab probably the better trap deck. Eldlich while skill drain still free feels solid. Lot of options but yea Trix can win. Utopia double for going 2nd hits hard.
@@thecalieffect There have been 3 tops since April 2023 (that I can see): Tuscaloosa WCQ Regional, Des Moines WCQ Regional and South Portland WCQ Regional. Is the deck worthy of top budget, no, and it's probably below Solid Choice too but I think it is at least borderline. Besides it is one of the most accessable and cheapest decks on the list (and for the price it is 100% a Solid Choice, most other decks cost at least double), plus the upgrades are also cheap, even though the ceiling isn't that high

With infinit forbidden coming out next month do you think you could you make a video covering your thoughts on the new drytron support I was thinking of picking the deck up but with a lot of split views on the deck it’s hard to say if I want to do the “pure” version or just do drytron/herald
exosister carpedivem is easy zu get access to an saves you from Nibiru, its not in the Top decks for sure, but i played it against a lot of meta decks and made a lot of good matches, but a deckbuild for constancy is essential, anyway its pretty fun deck to interact and banish the enemies field befor he passes his turn XD

I tested it as a 40 card Swordsoul Yubel Fiendsmith Tenyi and still had enough room for up to 15 non-engine. In the deck I only use 2 Ashuna and 1 Vishuda as a way to make S:P easier and for Vishudas grave effect. I almost cooked Rescue-Ace after it resolved Turbulences effect and this only a testament of what decks can do now that they have a way to stop Nibiru. I didn't almost beat them after Turbulence because of hand traps. I almost beat them because I almost outgassed them. If I can get that close just by making Caesar, Sinister Sovereign, and Chixiao then with Protos and Phantom of Yubel what chance does Snake-Eyes have. When Infinite Forbidden comes around they'll have to run the Phantom of Yubel and Fiendsmith engines or be left in the dust.

What about Ancient Gears tho. It is easily interrupted, but with Fortress on the field it can consistently OTK like 90% of the time. Seriously this deck is pretty fun. It Is very weak to hand traps, but if you start with Fortress it is pretty much over for your opponent
I think Exosister deserve to be a tier higher. Its the only deck of the format that can reliably play D shifter and Nibru at 3x. Combined with Sakitama, Martha, and Pax you have 9 starters plus D shifter turns off Ogre, Veiler, and Mourner so it ends up making Nibiru your only fear.
Its been hard to keep up with the meta with my exo sisters but i wont give up. Testing all sort of things to protect to the most obvious counters (nibiru, super poly, dimension barrier… or impermanence on kaspitell) 3 crossouts and caperdivem its all i got for that MF rocky
It might be cuz its Master Duel but Ive been seeing a lot of wins with Tri Brigade Fire King. Havent played any locals with it but idk, at least its fun
Bruh sacred beast with dogmatika/invoked best deck ever!!!! Yeah I know I'm coping but pure sacred beast still a good price small package and if it gets on the board it sticks like glue especially if you run 6 "skill drains"
