Just stop playing WoW because Blizzard treats both customers and its own staff like a bunch of rejects. I'm tired of the excuses like COVID or Activision's influence. I'm tired of people saying that they still play Blizzard because of their RP community. If it's about the people then take your people and business elsewhere to another MMO that actually has RP resources baked into the game itself, like FFXIV or even City of Heroes (on the Homecoming server cluster, for example.) Everybody (both Blizzard and customers) forgot that companies are supposed to value their customers and give them a product worth buying. And saying that there's "still good people who work at Blizzard" is ridiculous because their job is literally not our problem as customers. And the fear of WoW going away if we pull all of our support for it probably needs to happen before the game gets worse. There are private servers out there that people can jump into. People need to evaluate what value WoW brings to their lives and actually see it as just a product and not a "way of life."
I did play WoW for a time, but it was never my main MMO; I started with EQ before WoW even was a thing, then CoH and then SWTOR before arriving at FF14 where I am now. Well, what was actually good in BfA - 2 raids were really great and its massive wpvp activity near the end of the expansion. There was some fun, even if it did not make much sense with the strange pvp scaling system, at least there was some activity to be found at any given time that could result into fun times. And lets not forget the turtles that made it into the water.....quite the meme. If its pain at least you feel something, i felt nothing in SL and did any content even raids, rbgs and twisted corridors with multiple classes. Maybe devs should give some incentive for wpvp and do a narrative on par with FFXIV? Add MoP class design standards and TBC profession designs. Its like they add minor features, while forgetting about whats really important.

Who is this guy to tell me i'm not enjoying the game and that I should quit? I'm actually having fun casually doing some PvP. I enjoy that part of the game right now. When Shadowlands first came out I really enjoyed the PvE for a while, and then didn't play for a year. And now I'm probably gonna get bored and quit in another week or so but right now I'm actually having fun, so I'm gonna keep playing until it's not fun for me. Don't let others tell you what is fun or not!
You don't actually watch the video right? Your case is covered too and in the chart it ends in "good luck, and have fun" the one's that play once a year or the one's that likes doing RP are the one's enjoying the game, so why tell them to quit?
He forgot the last type of player, or did not subgroup enough. The 1 month a year player is one type cause that is not enough time to really hate the game…the 6 months hardcore every few years player is slightly different. In my experience as one it is like restarting the game where at first everything is so different and difficult 1 month later you are doing hard content…another month later you are having a lot of fun getting everything going on alts and pushing your favorite content and then a slow downward spiral of lack of achievement relative to goals and lack of new content drives you to hating the game until enough time has passed that you repeat the cycle
It just hurts my soul seeing WoW in this state...looking back on when I first started playing as a teenager, I remember the first day I played and all the adventures, friends and enemies made...I guess I just have to accept that time in my life is gone. I cherish the memories of wanting nothing more than to finish school (I always did homework during free periods or lunch so I didnt have to when I got home) and log in for a few hours before my parents got home. I could go on for a long time reminiscing. I met my best friends, who are still with me to this day, over a decade ago. I've been to two of their weddings! Countless hours of fun, desperation, antics, frustration, the whole gambit of human emotion. WoW and the memories surrounding it will always occupy a little corner of the framework that makes me who I am. My heart goes out to everyone who can relate.

I just do the weekly stuff: PvP quests, PvP brawl, Timewalking dungeons, then log off for the week and play other games. I don’t have a legendary. I have no idea what my renown is.
That’s the whole problem. Not you in particular but the general gist. Blizzard has no reason to innovate when they can still collect money from you monthly and all you do is just weekly. If enough people stopped paying, Blizz would be forced to listen and make the game as we like. But as long as they profit from 1-2 day a week loggers, they’ll keep coasting. Blizzard is testing how long they can coast and how little content they can provide that keeps enough people playing with the least amount of effort. They aren’t hungry to make a better product, they are full and trying to see how many meals can be skipped before they need to eat.
One of the big problems is most if not all of the systems that are currently in place should have been in place from the beginning. Having a cap originally on how many times you could change a conduit, changing covenants requiring a huge renown grind, having to redo a covenant campaign on an alt when you have already completed that covenants campaign on your main, having a cap on how much Soul ash/Soul Cinders you could obtain in Torghast, inability to send unwanted Soul ash over to an alt. Content drought is huge as well. 8 month waits for major patches is absurd and it seems that the wait for new content is getting longer even after blizzard acknowledging that content needs to come out quicker. Pvp is a different story. There’s quite literally no hope for people who have hopped into a patch late and have to do an awful Conquest grind to even be somewhat capable of not getting destroyed. A number of classes being able to clap players with one ability. Gated content is something blizzard need to have a good hard look at.
meanwhile me spending my last 180k gold on another month because I don’t want to give blizzard money but I’m also addicted to playing for 10 minutes every so often before I log off and play FFXIV instead

bro this games RNG pissed me off. so let’s say i ran raids every week for 6 months. I never got my set items, maybe one of 6. but then a new dude comes into the raid and 5 out of 6 drop the same day for him and i received the same item i had repeated so i give it to the new dude. He’s fully geared now, way better than me now. in the next 6 months 1 more drop for me and the dude left the guild and stopped playing as he had everything anyways. so in a year i got 2 set parts playing more than 10hours a day.
I was done with retail when 9.1 ptr was in announced. to much grinding for me when i work two jobs. also my team mate quit and i couldn't be arsed trying to fine new ones. i miss MoP gearing system. just pvp until you're geared. i play on wotlk private server (warmane). i dont think cosmetic addons are a problem but addons like weak aura, cooldown trackers and GladiatorlosSA2 tell you waay to much info (to the point if you set them up right everything thats going on) and having them can be the difference between winning and losing. have you seen mes (cdew team mate) weak auras? also think they should make some classes interrupt spells more obvious. it's sometimes hard to tell if a warroir or rogue has used pummul or kick but its easy to spot if i dk or shaman has used mind freeze or wind sear
I really got the GLHF xD because I only play 1 month a year... xDDDD I activly following wow content because I like(d) it but there is nothing for me and I find it kinda funny how many players now realize how " unrewarding" is.
I feel like a lot of the pve branches should have a stop through that directs to "Play FFXIV" on its way to "Quit WoW" like the story one does. Same with the RP answer.
Are you doing m+? (yes) Are you playing a dps? warrior? (yes) Are you having fun? (yes) Quit WoW bc it's not a meta class even when you timed every key in 15+ 🙃🙃🙃
Dude what the fuck are you talking about warrior is ultra meta.... Warrior warlock windwalker meta right now. I'm a shadow priest who actually has the non meta problem and I'm slowly climbing my way up to 18s and eventually 20s. You must be just really bad or undergeared man. Get some tier pieces
its true though, where did all these years of being a loyal wow player got us. I quit like a few expacs ago and enjoyed classic during vanilla but i wasted like thousands of hours for absolutely nothing imagine being a streamer or some dickhead who needs his income from this game and it just died out it must suck ass!
I agree. Went play 9.2 with guild even though I work raid nights. Hang out with them as they copium for the game still. I couldn't get past the 2nd story quest of ZM. It so dull and unloved that I almost fell asleep. Story aside, WoW quest design outdated to. Go kill xx/fetch xx with little important to the arc, I just couldn't care. The grind to. ugh. Waste of 15$ but playing that and Lost Ark made me appreciate FF14 more so.

Its easy to leveling hears. I dnt like ff14 story its like chore to do .. i dnt like lost ark everything is money to buy gears.. dnt ever put dnt wow community. Um
I started playing WOW when i was 10, i am now 24 and i kinda disagree with you. Is WOW good right now, meh. But there is so much in WOW you know, you make your own experience. HOWEVER its a game where breaks need to be taken for example when i start to get bored i go play apex or hots, just something to reset my game experience. But when i come back to wow i just die with nostalgy as if i were a child again. And i make goals to keep me busy. For example: Level up characters with chromie time to have different dungeons and learn new specs( of course i have played every class in the game but i dont know 100% what each spec does, so i learn and discover new stuff) or do quests in places i have never done since you unlock a lot more zones at lvl 10 than before bfa. Farm gold to get stuff and farming is fun. After coming from work checking the mail from my character and collectiong the results of my hard work is very satisfiyng and it allows you to play in a whole different way like for example i loved the mop expansion so from time to time i farm alanis or i farm shadowfang keep since its just a cool dungeon where you can get a lot of value from it. Collecting mounts is also fun! I dont know about you guys but the only thing that keeps getting cooler in this game is the class hability progression (however i wish we had the same variety of spells as before and having the need to go to your trainer to learn the spells and not insta learn them) like the shadow priest which is way more interesting nowadays than it was in cataclysm. So i always enjoy the pvp high level and when leveling i always throw some bgs. Even though all my friends quitted wow ill keep holding our guild for them! WOW for life!
What’s my bis Ret legendary that matches my covenant abilities but doesn’t require running Torghast and not time gated behind sloppy writing and slow patch release cycles? I just want to collect mounts btw. #justquitwow
Finally a wow progression system I can agree with

This is the greatest thing I have ever saw!! I quit wow!!
Great 😆🤣
Love seeing do you even lift bro diagram being used for WoW
I really got the GLHF xD because I only play 1 month a year... xDDDD I activly following wow content because I like(d) it but there is nothing for me and I find it kinda funny how many players now realize how "
unrewarding" is.
I feel like a lot of the pve branches should have a stop through that directs to "Play FFXIV" on its way to "Quit WoW" like the story one does. Same with the RP answer.
The person who made this map took arthas turning into 35 anima personally 🤣
Are you doing m+? (yes)
Are you playing a dps? warrior? (yes)
Are you having fun? (yes)
Quit WoW bc it's not a meta class even when you timed every key in 15+ 🙃🙃🙃
Dude what the fuck are you talking about warrior is ultra meta.... Warrior warlock windwalker meta right now. I'm a shadow priest who actually has the non meta problem and I'm slowly climbing my way up to 18s and eventually 20s. You must be just really bad or undergeared man. Get some tier pieces
Warrior not meta 😂😂 are you sure?
bruh... Warrior is the 2nd best Mele rn right under Rogue.
I tried wow, complete noob but community was so mean and toxic I quit. This was when they were on their 3rd expansion only
Looking at the cat in the background 🐈 lmfao still love wow :p
Finally a wow progression system that actually makes sense.
Had blizzard delete my account, makes it an easy decision.
Holy shatt, I've never seen this kind of deep dive analysis of a game ever before. LOL
its true though, where did all these years of being a loyal wow player got us.
I quit like a few expacs ago and enjoyed classic during vanilla but i wasted like thousands of hours for absolutely nothing
imagine being a streamer or some dickhead who needs his income from this game and it just died out
it must suck ass!
ppl dont quit they take a break now playing till new content or xpacs isnt ppl quiting they always come back vid saying quitting are a waste
anboni hits it out of the park with the wow content of the decade...gg.
this reminds me of the broscience DYEL flowchart episode
Hoj Say wow quests are outdated Then talk about ff14 where quests are even more outdated 😂
@@jesperjohansson9857 How they outdated? Quest in FF14 drive you forward with a beautiful story. Lore.
WoW is go kill 20 beast because reason blah blah nothing do with story,
I just want to say I clicked this video... a commercial to come play wow started playing... soooooo quit wow lol
Your laughs made it so much better 😂😂😂
Missed the step where you don’t play WoW but watch streamers instead
He was able to make this because Priest and Druids are the best players
I still love wow and will do :) dont care about blizz being dicks :D so are most other game dev’s. Something about that game is still awesome :)
I played the game for a month in shadowlands But I had no idea that people were so upset about it lol
So did most other people hence why no one is playing the game anymore
This is completely accurate.
I enjoy shadowlands new map ..
What about “do you role play?”
I swear I’ve seen people making content about wow not being relevant/ qUiT wOw forever now
If the shit was done we wouldn’t be talking about it anymore, there ain’t hours of vids of asmongold telling tens of thousands of people to not play Smite on the daily
Its easy to leveling hears. I dnt like ff14 story its like chore to do .. i dnt like lost ark everything is money to buy gears.. dnt ever put dnt wow community. Um
First 3-4 minutes was fun. Then it just became repetitive. How did this last for 17 minutes wtf. xD
guess Ill play some lost ark rather than lost time in wow
So many arrows EVERYWHERE. My head hurts. But this shit is all true. Best damn true facts every...LoL
That’s so fucking true and funny. Love the content 😂.
i never played WoW so i dont understand, but i find it a very funny video.
For example:
Level up characters with chromie time to have different dungeons and learn new specs( of course i have played every class in the game but i dont know 100% what each spec does, so i learn and discover new stuff) or do quests in places i have never done since you unlock a lot more zones at lvl 10 than before bfa.
To be honest
DO you RP? -> PLay FF14 instead -> Quit WoW
14:30 Should lead to "play ff14"
Fun wasn't mentioned even once LMFAO
What’s my bis Ret legendary that matches my covenant abilities but doesn’t require running Torghast and not time gated behind sloppy writing and slow patch release cycles? I just want to collect mounts btw. #justquitwow
'ruining the game for others' what others?
kiryan is the best optiion to bro there are 200 videos about that in the savix channel xd.
Best map ever made and so true and now I go speed run elden ring
