This song. John is pretty much replaying his childhood as a song, using it to open up his future. John had revisit his childhood, and accept it was one of freedom to move on with his life.

This Ghosty Trickster turns around, revealing himself as the greatest villain; obfuscating stupidity hiding true nature. The ultimate prank is complete.
This was such an awesome flash. The music was awesome, sure, but even better was the fact that it marked the first time the Kids accomplished something major instead of just staying in one piece. They finally stand a chance against Jack, Condesce and English, they finally have begun to make their move.

Me too. I cried hard when I heard this the first time years ago. More when the flash came out (which is my favorite of Hussie's flashes). Even now it honestly still gets me. It's haunting, minor, soaring, freeing, hopeful, heartbreaking, and just so many other emotions I struggle to put into words. Still among my favorite songs, perhaps ever.
Two interesting observations: this is written in D minor, while the original piano theme is in C minor, so if you play them back to back it sorta gives a sense of rising above what came before it (by quite literally rising exactly one full step up on the keyboard). D minor is also the same key as the famous Bach organ toccata that everyone thinks of regarding big dramatic organ music.
I think I should mention that from now on, any song that sounds good enough to be in a flash, or even looks like it has inner depth...will probably be in an update. it will happen again and again. It will keep happening.
I'm a lover of all kinds of stringed instruments, but by far, the organ is my favorite.. Its innate ability to create harmony all in itself, with such powerful yet at the same time, harmonious note is simply breath taking, If i ever become a billionaire.. i shall create a monumental organ, i shall call her Gaia.
I always think Skaia is a short form for "Sky" and "Gaia". And, in greek mythology, Cronus is Gaia's son, who was later overthrown by Zeus, Cronus's youngest son. (On an unrelated note, I'm aquarius) (On an even more unrelated note, I like Cronus Ampora)
Before the flash this was a great song, now afterwards it's even better because of the connotations with the real adventure finally coming to an end and starting at the same time. IF ONLY HE'D UPDATE THE COMIC! HUSSIE PLEASE YOU CAN'T LEAVE US HANGING ON SUCH A BIG BUILDING OF EVENTS FOR A YEAR!

But one day the Omegapause will fall, the comic will end, and I'll cry for days because it's so beautiful and had such a powerful ending and is a masterpiece, but it ended. It's over. It'll be so bittersweet. And then the next MSPA will start and our huge journey will begin anew.

I feel like this could be used for a walkaround flash in Lord English's lair, like if he had some sort of giant castle and John and everyone else were exploring it to find and confront the demon himself! It's just so epic!
I am currently at the end of act four. I know this song is in act six yet I absolutely love it. John is my favorite human character for many reasons. And this song is just put together so well. For the amount of musical pieces they have in the comic it's always something new. Job well done to a great comic so far and awesome music.
