Honestly, bless this album. I have gotten more work done listening to these seven tracks than any other music in existence. And it's been this way for YEARS.
If it weren't for the music, Homestuck would have just been one of the really good webcomics, like Schlock Mercenary or Order of the Stick. The music is what put it in a league all it's own.
I just realized that the last song is the song that would have played for the beta kids if they had completed their session and created their new universe
I would want it so that the game has both a building game feel and an adventure game feel. The building is where you make your house ect and make weapons. The adventure is killing everything on sight. (Or at least, in my eyes it's to kill everything in sight.)
Homestuck like it was back then could never be replicated by What Pumpkin today. Its a fantastic thing to have happened, even if it got a lil iffy towards the end. Also homestuck² is nothing but a toilet bowl for maladjusted children in adults bodies to throw their insecurities up in, a depressing and filthy thing tacked on through sheer hubris :^)
I feel like these songs represent the kids overcoming some great obstacle/enemy. Heir Conditioning: John vs. )-(er Imperious Condesencion Dance of Thorns: Rose (and maybe Terezi and Vriska, depending on how you interpret the guitar and harpsichord) vs. Doc Scratch Time on my side: Dave vs. Jack Noir Atomic Bonsai: Not really sure. Maybe Jade vs. Caliborn?
I love Jades battle theme so freaking much! It sounds so cool! The only one I don't like is Knife Edge (Dave Sprite and Bro Vs. Jack Noir). It sounds good, but... ehhhh... The rest are amazing.
I love how the song called "heir conditioning" is a word play on "air conditioning" which is funnier because john is a heir of breath which allows him to do the same thing an air conditioner can lol
