All that said, I think he actually has recieved the most fitting punishment available, unfortunately one that was also forced onto many other FANTASTIC characters: becoming irrelevant. some characters, like fef and nep, NEVER got to be relevant. its really kind of sad... so at this point i'm more hopeful for a resurgence of other 'irrelevant' characters. god damn, homestuck turns me into a fucking windbag. sorry about that.

I really like how in "colors" and "mayhem", every letter is colored according to one of the 12 trolls. Then there's the U in "coloUrs", which represents Callie, as she prefers to use British spelling and the letter is in the color she writes in. (Also, she only capitalizes U).

Both the Condesce and Jack work to ruin a SBURB/SGRUB session; Meenah was the reason her session was ruined (she exploded The Tumor, which killed her and her sessionmates).
This is an amazing song. Plus, it's _just_ long enough so it didn't grate on my ears when it was on loop during A6I3. The Condesence may be an evil batterwitch in the Alpha Timeline, but in the Beta Timeline as Meenah, she's a lively trollgirl who knows how to party, and this theme is proof of that.
This song really stands out when you compare it to the others, where the electronic dubstep gives a stark contrast to all the previous songs that had traditional music instruments in it.

I'm was on the same boat. I first heard the song "Black" in 2012 or 2013 somewhere probably youtube, thought the song was really good but I didn't search for anything else related to it. Fast forward to 2023, I started reading Homestuck. When the [S] page with that music came up ([S] Jack: Ascend) I was like "wait this song is really familiar, where have i heard it..." The "Make her a member of the Midnight Crew" and then the music buildup is what made me remember it. There's no way you can forget it. Yes, I missed out reading it when it was on it's peak I guess, but my English reading skills were not really good back then. I still enjoyed reading it many years later though.

Fast forward to 2023, I started reading Homestuck. When the [S] page with that music came up ([S] Jack: Ascend) I was like "wait this song is really familiar, where have i heard it..."
The "Make her a member of the Midnight Crew" and then the music buildup is what made me remember it. There's no way you can forget it.
Yes, I missed out reading it when it was on it's peak I guess, but my English reading skills were not really good back then. I still enjoyed reading it many years later though.
