if you cant read this video is pointless, people that did not get good education cannot understand this video, contradictory to the messages shown in it
Oh man, I always come back to this. I remember being shown this in School back in like 2014 or something. I hope they still show this in Schools across the world for educating those who aren't aware of these rights.
Not everyone is equal, rather there are vastly differing human cultures on the earth. People are born different and have different rights according to their culture.
These statements are as true today as they were when they were first written. It is apt, accurate and the ideal. We should strive to make these rights our lived reality.
Every school should teach the declaration of human rights worldwide One of our rights is the right to education and what is more important than to understand your human rights.
Time for everybody to learn their rights again, question your government, teach your children and spread the message! Power to the people! Love and Peace, Dudean
***** Well yes, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't know some of rights you have. Okay they will probably keep violating them in many ways, but sometimes we (the people) can make a tiny little difference and take significant actions.
Oh Nebula... As an older guy I got to tell you and don't get me wrong but... You still have so much to live and with this I am telling you, that you have so much to learn and see for yourself. One thing is correct... Your teachers do care about your education, but the rest... Little Dragon, you still have one long road ahead of you.
My dad died of cancer when I was 4 years old. My mom has been suffering from incapacitating depression every since I was early teen, until getting shock treatment only to be diagnosed with Alzheimers disease a year after. Now she can hardly recognize me and I'm 30. I have been the only functioning member of this family since I was little and I will continue to do so if only to give my little sister a better chance.
Without sharing the world's resources there will be no world justice and equality. Without world justice there will be no world peace. Without world peace there will be no world. The spiritualization of our civilization is what will empower the people to action on these 3 principles and work towards them.
wow, that was really touching. (I wanted to see all the words before they turned into the buildings...) how sad that much of the world doesn't have these "luxuries" that are basic human rights. Everyone deserves these things as human beings. This inspires me to try to help people more...thanks for sharing!
Whenever human rights are brought up I feel very warm and secure, hardly anything does that for me. But hearing someone tell me what my rights are and have me agree with them is very comforting. I love our UN rights. I just wish they were enforceable by world law. When that happens then we will finally be the world we all hope to achieve
+doodelay well said doodlay. They are extremly beautiful aren't they. I've only learned them tonight and i'm 44. probably the sanest document i've ever read.
The states that agree with them signed the UDHR and the ones that didn't agree didn't sign it. Leaders of countries who disregard human rights and go on to commit any of the four gravest crimes go on to have warrants for arrest by the international criminal court.. but then thats where the issue is.. cause no one can actually arrest them in their own country!! Frustrating, really.
Having another man or woman tell you what your rights are, only makes you a slave. Equality BEFORE the law. You where created with freewill. were you not? Only a child of the province needs their rights given to them.
The music Is "Minds Awake" by Rumspringa in their Album Rumspringa EP Though this seems to be only a Background music Version since the original one does have Lyrics.
❣️2:32❣️ I am spiritual and not religious. I believe in science too and I believe there is link between the two that yet to be understood and discovered, I believe the two are the same. God, the Universe or whatever you want to call it is also the knowledge/science that we are just exploring and trying to connect.
@Digdigs2 Easements are a balance of one party's property rights with the freedoms of another (e.g. access to a public road). Only one party "owns" the easement. The other parties just have free licence to "use" it as allowed by law. All the easements I've run across were just part of someone's property with a driveway on it that lead to a property that did not adjoin a public road. The owner of the property not by the road had access to the road w/o "trespassing" on his neighbor's property.
we all need to get together and fight for this right. Terrorists, some governments and parties like the BNP want to take this away from us. This is our planet and everyone is a family we need to do keep the peace and sustain our planet.
U.S. Department of Justice, wakie wakie let's go fishing! on G-D'S web for(e!): The Universal Declaration of Human Rights (google it! vs google chrome it!) Q: did you 'catch and reel in' (t)HIS: Article 27. @Nykstukas9 The answer to your question, What is a decent standard of living? and what is a good reason to be jailed? They're found in the individual articles within the declaration of human rights. you can go and look them up if you want just to clarify that they are not illusionary. As for the right to possessions, it prevents anyone taking what belongs to you arbitrarily because the possession has intrinsic worth and value to you. 'No one person should take from another without just cause'.
U.S. Department of Justice, Fact: to the NY FBI (in 2011) I gave (t)HIS poem: a rabbi said to me, “are you a Jew?” so I said, “I am! a Jewel of (t)HE MOST HIGH” “we(e spirits) are all Jewels of (t)HE MOST HIGH” “we(e Jewels) will all be graded”
To add depth to our Rights and to help make this world a better place to live, it is time for the world to understand that our Rights are part of the Laws of Nature and man cannot change them. See the book titled: Scientific Proof of Our Unalienable Rights.
That's the kicker. It always has been. But the reasons why they are pretty much ignored is a long story involving bad and corrupt people who believe in and enforce Cultural Imperialism, Marginalization, Exploitation, Helplessness and Violence. As well as mental illness that encompasses bottom line revenue, greed, hunger for power, and consumption.
There's been some important rights left out. You have the right to protect the life of yourself and your family. You have the right to protect your property.

My history class watched this almost half a year ago.. I just keep coming back to it. I mean, I am only 15 but even I know the difference between right and wrong...
I thought I would be the only one looking at this carefully and saying something. I'm glad to see that others are seeing that there are flaws in many feel good campaigns. Ideas of fairness and equality are often the most oppressive and tyrannical. People should be free but noone can gaurantee equal anything without misled socialized ideas and as a consequence oppression and poverty.
@Digdigs2 If easements aren't merely lawful license, all involved in them would be subject to any land-based taxation (they aren't to my knowledge, only the *owner* is). Life estate is nothing more than a contract to transfer ownership rights at time of death (specifically to named remainderman). Also "fee simple" does not negate the existence of property rights, just instances in which said rights are infringed on by government in the name of the "common good" (sometimes justly, others not).
@Digdigs2 Shades of grey of grey do crop up depending on the sub-topic (e.g. Ethics), while something like Metaphysics is going to tend to be more absolute in tone (especially if you're trying to put forth a model of what exists). One thing that should avoid "shades of grey" however are the definition of terms when defining a debate. If there is no line (not even a vague one?) between "right" and "entitlement" then w.r.t. Leibniz's law they're the same thing yet they aren't.
It's imposes many western values on other people - Democracy, for instance. Engaging in democracy is a choice of the people, and many people feel perfectly fine with the system of government they have at the moment. Things like "everyone has a right to raise a family" prevent people from managing overpopulation, while the right to own property is hopeless for societies that don't utilise it or distribute property among multiple sub-groups (soviet-style communal housing, etc).
_Sorry... thanks to your company from this December 10 2012, the Human Rights Day. I apologize not to be on time. Happy new year. Congratulations(vGOOD****). Sincerely: "FBell, Inc."
@MerlinYoda Easements are not a licence - licence does not transfer proprietary interest - an easement does. Take a different interest then, say a life estate... life estate and fee simple - contemporaneous proprietary rights in the same thing
Great! Now we need animal rights too. Every animal is born free, and have the right to live a life they are meant to. Animals used in food or fur production can have very limited and often physically painful lives. I can only imagine the psychological pain when I see a fox constantly jumping in their small cage, or a having its paw stuck in the cage and shaking. Or bite their limbs off. We can mess up each other, but what right have we to bring misery to another spieces.
@MerlinYoda ... simply put, the original owner has the right to the book and you have the right to get your money back (since the thief kinda "stole" from you as well when you were sold the book). Whether it actually *happens* is a *completely separate* issue (e.g. a government's effectiveness in upholding the rights of its citizenry).
i dont understand the verbal bashing from the commentors in this video. this whole video is meant to enlighten and preach peace, acceptance, tolerance and happiness- no matter how the means: religion, freedom, pursuit of happiness. Isnt that all the point of it all at the end of the day? Are we free to be happy?
My question is ? Onthe left side Music by Rumspringa courtesy Cantora Records and on the right side we have Buy "Human Rights" ArtistAlex Pardini Who is behind the music ?

@ArcaneInquisitor Its funny since right now I am reading Dostoyevsky's "The devils" which is largely about the young nihilists and anarchists of the mid 19th century Russia. They had the same ideas of each citizen working with solidarity and independence to create a eutopia of purely free people. They also felt the government only acted to protect the wealthy elite and the people ought to run themselves.
Anyone here because of online classes like or comment idk

I too have now joined the people that have to watch this for school
article 25 "Everyone has the right to medical care" should be included in this video...otherwise great effort.
can we make this world law?

We should strive to achieve the goals set out in the UDHR.
We should not stand for any wrong doing by people.
"You must respect the social order that is necessary for these rights to be available."
Many people are quick to forget this.
Such a well presented video. Everyone must know their rights!
The best UA-cam video of all time.

people don't need a declaration of human rights, people need Superman!

You can make an individual complaint to a human rights committee.
For example to OHCHR.
It is such a beautiful text. You have to enjoy the simplicity of it. how short it is, to the point of easy understanding and summary.
