I really like your updates on the remodel!! The family that buys this home is one blessed family!! Everything is just perfect!! Great job Barry! 👍👍👍👍👏👏👏👏👏
Oh my goodness, every aspect of this renovation is worth your time to video. Learning so much from your work. My favorite part is coming up (interior/Molly) this is where it all comes together and then - on the market! All your "entertainment" videos are educational, keep them coming. Of course, the funny stuff is priceless! 🤣 🥰😎
I agree completely! 😉❤🦋🌈✝
Love your content, your presentations, your humor, and more and I’m an 82 year old female!
The "forgot my drill" step is something I am definitely a master of :)
As far as content...I will watch anything you put out...love all of your content Bārry!
:)
Your channel & your parent's channel are among the very few that I find myself not skipping to the good parts.
Thanks for the reminder 🤦♀️👍a reminder to like share and subscribe is good for us forgetful folks lol. Things are really coming together. The kitchen is absolutely stunning!!!
Molly did a beautiful job picking out colors and textures.
All that "duck walking" under the house and not ONE complaint of sore legs 🤪...I am so impressed!
I have a sore everything.. :)
That water connection closet is a thing of beauty!
Another great video! Very fun to watch the progress. So much WORK! Our family has done many projects together and I enjoy watching this house reno thanks for taking the time to film so we can be part of it!
Your work is worth it. Totally enjoy your humor, but totally enjoy your videos. You are down to earth with your content,
fast forward content is totally cool ,so funny ! we could watch you all day long buddy ,thanks !
Loved this video. You are a gem 💎 on everything carpentry plumbing electric etc. the water heater install was so knowledgeable I am impressed with all your skills. The house is looking amazing. Blessings 🌻🌻⚡️🌻🌻
Love the way you do everything as if the house was yours. Also loved the fast step action going on there!!
Barry I really enjoy your videos on remodeling . I learn so much about how to building a house the right way ...and I also learn some of things not to do . Thank you and Molly for your videos . They are so helpful . Please keep them coming 👍
We will.. :)
I love how you speed it up, it cracks me up
The "bonk", hitting your head on the pipe in the crawlspace spoke to my soul. 10/10, loved this update, looking forward to the next!
You teach the correct way to do things. You are just like your dad.
Your water setup has an artistic look to it, very soothing to the eye and brain. You are awesome. Love your vids.
Another amazing plumbing job. So clever, too, to have that water heater drain directly outside rather than the crawl space. Everything is so well thought out. Nicely done.
Very educational, especially the part where "I forget my drill upstairs". LOL
:)
I watch every bit of this and everything you do! You explain it so well. What a high quality house the new owners will be blessed with. They will never have a worry living there!
I try. :)
This was the best day spent with you! Won't forget those lessons either. You are a master at detail. Your artistic side was apparent. Good video Barry. 💪
Love the new kitchen and countertops!
Very cool. Enjoy watching you all doing this flip. Thanks for sharing. God bless.
I love the pitter pat of your feet when going up an down in crawl space funny love it.
LOVE your wiring and plumbing videos.
In our area of the California Sierras, on demand water heaters are popular. And living in earthquake country, stand-alone water heaters like yours usually have something like a shower tray underneath with a drain as well as strapping to keep the water heater secure during an earthquake.
You did it! No, of course you taught us incredible plumbing info. Of course you did a hundred knee squats in the basement crawl space. YOU ended by politely asking us to “like, subscribe and pass on the video.” You reminded us to become a part of your vast family enterprise …. and I did!!!
Woo hoo!
definitely worth it i like the videos especially when you explain stuff it helps tell the story so to say. anyway looking better every time, that kitchen looks awesome thanks
I am amazed at how things have changed, you have shown us a better way and a new way . Thank you.
I liked the white and wooden cabinets. A saw the contrast immediately.
Excellent job on the plumbing Barry very neat work 👍 Looking forward to the rest of the electrical.
"then I forget my drill upstairs" ...LOL
Your videos are always educational and entertaining. I’m always having a great time watching your videos. You tell it like it is and don’t hold back. And you’ve more than inspired me to start working on things around my home on my own. Thank you very much! I greatly appreciate these videos! Also you’re a great musician.
Thanks Dan.
I love the explanation of the water manifold system! Great job!
You portray such a beautiful combination of both the joy and the aggravation of work. I’m so glad you do this, it’s IMPORTANT! Life is hard AND it’s lovely. Thank you!
Its refreshing to see someone put the effort into leaving the house better for the next owner. The plumbing system you put in is amazing and allows the homeowner to quickly isolate a potential leak and take care of it. I would have thought you were a tankless water heater? Good stuff Maynard! 👍
Tankless have too many issues..
@@EmptyHammock Really? I always hear good things. What goes wrong with them?
@@On-Our-Radar-24News they require constant maintenance that if you don't do it will destroy the unit. I've had it happen
@@EmptyHammock Hmmm...interesting. I wonder why they seem to have it figured out in the U.K. and Germany. I had tankless water heaters in both places and they worked really well. As much hot water as you want and efficient at the same time.
Great job Barry! You do such careful good work. I’d buy that house just because of the workmanship!
It will be for sale.. soon. :)
Huge success!!! You elicited a "BEAUTIMUS" out of the big guy here (they don't come easily!!!) I am beyond WOWED with the counter selection and your plumbing work....absolutely first rate work. The only thing more disappointing than knowing I'll never live in that beauty is the fact that you and Molly (and family) are not living next door! Thankfully you provide superior (and captivating!) content on your channel! ❤ 👍 🇺🇸 🤗 🙏
I really enjoy watching your videos. You are all doing such a great job!
Those countertops are absolutely gorgeous! I hadn’t heard of a textured finish, but I really like it. 👍
Thanks for sharing Berry. I really enjoy your videos. Thanks for putting in all the work on your videos!! Blessings!!!
Hope you all do another flip after this. It teaches people how to do many things themselves. Thanks. God bless.
Lord willing this will be my last one, however, Ive got different building plans planed.. :)
That 'pex artistry' is a really cool sculpture! Must stoke your 'creative side'!
It makes me happy.. :)
Seeing you do things 100% and or keeping everything clean and organized like your waterlines brings my heart a bit of joy and satisfaction 😆
Those countertops look so good. And I absolutely love the pop up power strips. What a great idea!
This water system is very interesting and colorful. I am loving the kitchen, it is beautiful!
Nice plumbing system. You certainly had a lot of patience installing it too.
10:12 " then I backtrack, and, ow, hit my head on that pipe, that's an important step " haha
So much attention to detail. That system is so neat.
Yes! I love the content. Phew, but I'm wore out with all that up and down, lol. Like the way the waterlines look so organized and easy to access. The kitchen is looking beautiful, love the countertop.
Whoever thought that plumbing could be so aesthetically pleasing? It absolutely is. This video is great because it shows the incredible amount of time, thought, skill and labor required to do, these tasks. Also, it shows me what to look for 'behind the curtains' of my next house. This gorgeous plumbing job is a tough act to follow. Thank you so much for sharing the detailed explanation and visuals.
Just wait till you see the electrical panel.. :)
@@EmptyHammock Patiently waits for crowning jewel of the whole show to make her video debut: the electrical panel!
Lots of exercise. This will be like a new house. Great job.
Like every day... :)
My favorite video so far! Interesting, and I know all that walking back and forth wasn’t fun for you, but it was fun to watch the way you edited it. It sounded like the squirrel that runs across my roof every morning. 😂
You are a very competent and hard worker. Wish I were your neighbor.
:)
Your videos are always worth it. I love the content and I love the fact that you explained how everything worked. Very educational and fun! Your work is so nice and neat and functionable. You can totally see the care that you put into your work. I didn't forget to like I'm already subscribed and SHARE!😃💛
The countertops are gorgeous. They go so nice with the cabinets. I love watching what you do, I always learn so much. So interesting with the water pipes and hook up. Have never seen anything like that. Great job as usual! Blessings
Love those counter tops. That pex set up is a thing of beauty.
Barry, you do terrific work on anything I've seen you do! I'm always amazed by your knowledge and skills! Thanks for explaining things like you do. God bless.
Man, you sure know a lot of stuff.
Also, bath video the other day. Shower video today. I feel so clean.
Barry you are very efficient and knowledgeable, thanks for explaining everything!✌💙🙏
Hi Barry and Molly, i enjoy your video's alot! your sense of humor is great, and you make work look and feel like ¨¨ easy peezy! merci beaucoup!
You’re an excellent teacher
I really like the countertops!
Your work ethic is the reason I watch your videos .. not because I understand what you're doing lol. You and Molly are good people.
:)
you make great videos Barry! Love the house- it's awesome!!!
excellance in plain sight 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟💫🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Counter tops are lovely. Watching that water install makes me suspicious of the pex in my walls....wondering if they used Ts or bent it. We had to hire that part out. Sure wish I had gotten this education before our house was finished! Good stuff Barry
Great content. Thank you for all the extra effort.
Love the remodel vids and the explanations of why or how it works. That plumbing stuff has come a long way since we remodeled our 250 yr old farmhouse we used to have 23 yrs ago. Lots of fun. It’s looking nice
So that's your secret to keep slim and fit...all those back and forth trips up and down the steps and under the house.😃
It doesn't hurt.. :)
WOW!!!!👏 You do such thorough and neat work!! I just wish that I knew my older cottage was done this well!
Impeccable work, Barry. Someone will get a really quality home. Way better quality and workmanship than its prior life. You and your family are doing an awesome job.
Love the pop up outlets! Tops are beautiful! It’s looking great y’all!
Very informative. Love the explanations
Love everything you've done. Love the "power towers" in the island.
Lots accomplished! Wow.
Love the kitchen cabinets, countertops and of course the layout. Can't wait till it's all done, it's going to be beautiful. Great job by the whole family. Blessings to you all. 😊🇺🇲
A pex water distribution block-love it.
This is great information. I'm going to be retiring next year, hopefully. We won't be staying here, there are too many taxes and too much other big-city drama. We won't be buying a brand-new house, so I fully expect to be doing at least some of these kinds of repairs/renovations. I'm a level or six below you in experience and expertise, but I'm a good learner and careful, so I should do all right. Thanks for sharing all this with us, you and your family are like friends we haven't met yet. All the best to all of you from all of us.
You are doing such a great job on this house. I loved it when you said you needed the sticker straight so you could sleep tonight. 😂
It's true.. :(
@@EmptyHammock lol
I love the way you work. So neat & methodical. Calms my OCD, lol.
If I was in the States, that house would be MINE! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I understand his OCD as well 😂.
Wow! Electrical, contracting, plumbing...is there anything you cannot do? You're awesome!
Sure! I can't...think of anything. :)
Excellence in all. Keep it coming Barry! 💥🤠
This was so very interesting. I learned a lot from this little nugget of time. Thanks so much.
You get one bonus point for not calling it a hot water heater....lol
Yea. It heats cold water.. not hot.
You have so much talent 😁
Everything you do is incredibly well done. I believe any prospective buyer who sees the care and neatness of the water tank room, ALONE, would feel this was a very safe home to purchase. Quite frankly, I'm overwhelmed at how wonderfully y'all do things ~ it's fabulous to witness. People want to feel their families are safe ~ watching your videos makes me so happy for whoever gets to buy it. ( I think the flooring is beautiful. Really love the countertop choice, too.)
My husband and I bought a home that had been remodeled 5 years before we bought it. As I watch your videos, I keep wishing the people who remodeled our home cared even half as much as you do. I'm no professional, but even I know a floor shouldn't have a mound in it and windows need to be set level to operate properly... But, watching this, I can honestly say, I think they got the plumbing right! They used the same system and we have had no issues with the water in the 5+ years since we bought it.
See... It's not all bad.. :)
This house is stunning now and it's not even finished! The choice of colors, granite, paint are perfection. Molly has an artistic eye and it shows and your work ethic is amazing. I have one question regarding the fireplace. In order to clean it up do you have to sandblast the stone or perhaps paint it and won't cleaning it put soot on everything? Perhaps you need to finish the floors and painting walls after tackling the messy fireplace? I want that house for myself but haven't won the lottery yet!
We're going to have it professionally swept and inspected...
You did that perfectly, thanks Barry for reminding me to press the like button! I did remember this time, but I likely will need reminding every other time!!!! Hey, it sure is a good thing you are able to run so fast, like that, with all the trips you had to make back & forth!!! I have seen here on yt so many people using Pex & they put so many fittings in their lines. I thought they did it in a proper manner. I guess because you can buy elbows & such they think they have to use them or something. I appreciate your work & explanation. Thank you so much for content I enjoy watching. I understand the work on the house can be difficult/time consuming & you have the added work with the camera & the editing, also. warning~ advice you did not ask for. I am an old lady & I don't know anything about youtube. I don't know if you can re~ upload this video again at a later date, but if you included in your title words like~ Using PEX Without Any Extra Fittings, every person looking up Pex would flock to this video. I know you don't want to be a "how to" channel but a weird what you are doing channel (I'm sure I didn't exactly quote you right) I think many people would be helped by your great info. Wanting to be helpful, plz disregard if it isn't. God Bless
I have it in the key words. We're good. Thanks! :)
i loved seeing the whole process and your time lapses, great video!
Just beautiful ! Great work Barry !
Enjoying your program so much!!!!! Thank you
Excellent video.
Kudos to you Barry. There's no way I would last one minute in that crawl space. I've watched your dad's channel too where he goes in the crawl space . Panic attack!!😵
Lots of excellent progress being made!
Excellent job!
Next time bring a bucket. ;)
Yea... 🙄
I cannot believe how many times you ran up and down those stairs when you were doing the plumbing. 12 hours. You must have been exhausted. And yes I like this kind of content. Now go get “relaxed” if you have the energy after this very long day.
Planning on it. There's a nearby mountain I've never hiked.. :)
The patter of not so little feet 😊 Lots of valuable information! Really informative video, thank you!
This old house is getting so much love. Wish I could have you & your twin come work on my old house. Well done! 👍👍
I dont think you'd want him at your house. He would draw smiley faces on all your light bulbs..
Way to Go! Coming along nicely. Really enjoying your presentation and content. Have a good one🙏🏻
