Can you transfer the fish bowl to an alt character if it contains any fish?
If you are trying to level your fishing, you may want to wear a Silver Embroidered Fishing coat, it gives experience instead of mastery. Also there are several fishing rods on the Central Market that do different things. Balenos Fishing Rod will reduce Autofishing time. To level your trading, fish in Alta Nova and sell in Grana, then fish in Grana and sell in Alta Nova. Easiest travel without spending silver on the Magnus.
If you fishing using your ship in the middle of the ocean, and you use travel map to get back to valencia/arehaza first. How you get back to the ship after you comeback from trading the fish?
i'ts the treasure map, you have 30 minutes to get the teleport back to where you used it, if you don't have it, go with your ship to arehaza, or if you have no sailors you can use your normal map to get there and colect your ship
So I've been prepping to do that (unfortunately needs to redo the Serendia and Calpheon main quests to do Magnus), and I came back to the vid to see where which path you used to connect nodes but it looks like they're not, which makes me wonder if it changed from before where you only get 30% if nodes aren't connected ? Second question, shouldn't the price differ depending on the number of minimum nodes it needs to go through, rather than the actual distance ? Or is it that selling up there takes us to the maximum selling price by default ?
They removed the requirement where you needed to have the nodes connected. It's based on distance now from where you acquired the trade item (fish). So catching from like Tigris Island or Valencia Sea, will get you 150% in LOML trade vendors like in Yunkoj or Bukpo
It's shared across the depths. On BDOlytics' map, I showed the fishing region. all the highlighted spots share the same resource amount across all channels in your region. I didn't go through showing every popular spot here because that'd make people congregate there and everything would be exhausted haha. I wanted to encourage folks to find their own spots but use mine as a baseline till you do.
Do you recommend the p2w rod that they have included? And do they recommend adding a brand? I have seen people who have bought durability skins but I don't know which ones.
if u stay outside the busy area, people usually dont want to hit u, that quest to gain back your Naval Fame is a pain. if i AFK fishing during the daytime i would dare to let people hit me in the busy area LMFAO. i check with my remote desktop app through my phone alot during the day.
I am confused. Can you teleport with fishes in your inventory or just with the fish inside that bag. Can you just pull that bag to another character and sell at trademarket without moving your ship all the time?

@@Markopolooo I'd recommend fishing in town like at altinova till Guru 1. At the beginning, you'll progress quicker with town fishing. Then sort out your mastery gear and aim for about 1500+ mastery before going out to sea to fish.
This is a great guide! I just got back into playing after a long break and going to give this a try. I had a question for the artifacts (I got 2 life skill mastery), and all 4 light stones. Should I wait to obtain the fishing exp artifact instead and infuse the stones into a mastery one and a fishing one, or it wont make a big difference? I want to make sure I get the right ones before infusing and risking losing silver over it.
Imperial is best if you are still getting blues and greens, especially when you are leveling. If you are not yet prof fishing, you cannot set the auto discard to blues, so you are still gonna get greens and blues and in this case, you can do imperials on them, then do normal distant fishing on yellow/reds you get. Some yellows cant be turned in to imperial, but some do. The main issue of imperial fishing is it's only limited turn-ins every 3 hours but it's always 250% in value. There are only selected fish that can also be imperialed as well which can be limiting most of the time. Distance doesnt matter as well on Imperial Fishing, but it does matter if you care about Trade EXP. Distant Fishing is good especially that we can Magnus now to LOML which is typically the farthest locations if you are fishing in mainland which heavily increases distance bonus. Also, we can do bargaining which we can also leverage to increase more profits. Distant Fishing will also take ANY FISH and it's not limited and you dont need to wait for resets every 3 hours nor server hopping for imperial turn ins. You are encouraged to change servers for base % on trade managers (get at least 120% price) since they differ each time. If you are just exclusively fishing in Velia, you can try and check in Imperial Fishing NPC first (he is in front of Storage Keeper) then go to LOML on Yukjo/Bukpo for Distant Fishing turn-ins.
You don't need to unlock it for afk fishing btw. However, that node will unlock when you enter a certain area within it, it's a bit wonky. I'd run around the area near by if u need it
Quick question. I was by Tigris Island, AFK fishing on my carrack with my Level 49 alt but I was still killed by some other player. How was this possible?
Btw carracks are vulnerable to red players. If this is an ongoing issue you should use a fishing boat, epheria cog or rowboat. Apparently it’s the mast which players flag up and climb that makes the carrack vulnerable
I started fishing for the first time last week and the first day i had 3 billion with only green and blue fishes. Now i'm getting only 200mil with green, blue, yellow and red fishes. Was there an event or did i use an item that was not included in your video cuz i use everything you use except the manos clothes and the artifact.

Sorry I may be misunderstanding, your spot is NOT exhausted? That's good right? You want it to be abundant. It depends on the number of players that are fishing in the same ocean zone. If there're a lot of players fishing, it'll get depleted down to exhausted. It's not impossible to fish there, it just takes longer to get fish hooked on your rod.

Yeah the mastery difference is pretty huge. You can get free floramos which is equivalent to TRI manos but I think you can only currently get 1 free per account... Unless they still have the 2nd one avail.
I would try the life skill discords fishing chat. I personally am still experimenting but i got to stay at a spot for a week to get a proper gauge of things so it’s slow going
There's exclusively no fishing spot in this game that is only yellow and prized fish drops. Best you can do is simply auto discard anything below Blue-grade, so you can only get yellows and reds into your inventory/fishtanks.

from what I’ve heard, the float refers to yellow fish when it says rare fish. Players have been reporting much better afk results with no float equipped. The red fish are the money makers so even if it takes longer to fill the tank it’s worth
Nice guide... but use Archelogist map (to port Arehaza from ship), after that use Normal map to port Valencia. After use Magnus to port Nampos, sell all and back to ship with Arch map :)

if no arc map: just go to end of map until your ship cant move, jump to end of map from your ship, wait until u get massege, then you instant tp to arehaza....
Basically lifeskill tools are in a shared equipment slot so you can just hop onto an alt, repair the rod and hop back to your fisher. I think I do it in the video at around 17:55 , i'll add it to the timestamps

ash tree float is for blue grade fish increase.. u might want mapple float for yellows.. but its kinda messes your chance to get prize fish /red though. some ppl dont wear any float if they want more prize fish and rely on their fishing mastery to get more chances
@@TheZuL Varies depending on you. Every player will be coming in with different, night afk durations, fishing level, mastery, location, abundancy of resources etc. It's a variable. Me personally, I will AKF for 12 hr intervals, I make about 2.2-2.4b per day with non-stop AFK fishing.
Uhhh gonna need some screenshots chief. Do you have 5 fishing, max afk fishing time (66%)? Do you block gold fish or just blue? I block blue and let the gold/reds pile up in the tank.

You should be fine. Leave it plugged to outlet and set the thermal fan on to high/performance. Now put the game into “minimize to Tray”. I have both gaming laptop and desktop. This method doesn’t strain your cpu and motherboard. The fan will regulate as normal.

No you can’t transfer the fishbowl if it has fish. You’ll have to move the character which caught the fish

I believe the trade buff in Valencia was patched out 2ish years ago.
One point - If you don't combine the 2 tanks, you lose 1 slot, but you can transfer one tank to another character even if you've caught some fish.
what do you mean? the tank can be put into family inventory.... so you can transfer to another character anyways.

@Pansy The Arehaza Town node is not unlocking for me, I talked with several of the NPC's not sure how to unlock the node

Higher fishing level gives you more mastery and durability reduction while fishing. You can start at anytime, just a matter of scaling your income

Yellow as well generally. If you’re trying to do. 24 hr trip but only have the f2p tank then you might need to do only orange.

No I don't. Contribution farming is basically afk cooking and turning in the byproduct for contribution exp. Bdolytics has a calculator for it

No unfortunately Geforce Now has a very crappy AFK timer. Understandable on their part but we cant even AFK for 15 min :s
Not sure if it still work but when I used geforce now, I used auto clicker to prevent being afk lol.

ash tree float is for blue grade fish increase.. u might want mapple float for yellows.. but its kinda messes your chance to get prize fish /red though. some ppl dont wear any float if they want more prize fish and rely on their fishing mastery to get more chances
The general consensus is to not use floats at all. They boost other types of fish, and you only want the red ones. Right? So no floats.

@@TheZuL Varies depending on you. Every player will be coming in with different, night afk durations, fishing level, mastery, location, abundancy of resources etc. It's a variable. Me personally, I will AKF for 12 hr intervals, I make about 2.2-2.4b per day with non-stop AFK fishing.

Uhhh gonna need some screenshots chief. Do you have 5 fishing, max afk fishing time (66%)? Do you block gold fish or just blue? I block blue and let the gold/reds pile up in the tank.

Yeah unfortunately. If you're on laptop I wouldn't recommend it. My PC has very good airflow and low thermals where it would wear on a laptop

You should be fine. Leave it plugged to outlet and set the thermal fan on to high/performance. Now put the game into “minimize to Tray”. I have both gaming laptop and desktop. This method doesn’t strain your cpu and motherboard. The fan will regulate as normal.
