Probably the best top 10 fragrances list I’ve seen, the fact that this is so genuine and not just clickbait is so good. I trust your knowledge on perfumery more than anyone else on UA-cam so this is actually very helpful.
You could even call the video, ‘Some of my favorites’ if you really want to stay away from ‘top 10s’. I think these videos are appropriate every 6 months or so after smelling a large variety of fragrance. Have a fantastic day!

It is a difficult world to get in, but a beautiful one. I do have some chemical background, and the way you explain scents makes things in my olfactory centers clicking much easier. @@cristobalbalenciaga7295 yes actually, some people have been extremely sensitive noses, so wearing a fragrance all day on themself could be overwhelming, but their especially sensitive nose makes them an outstanding perfumer.

Eros is special. It’s the balancing act of mint and tonka bean that does it for me. Lasted all day on my hand in the Cambodian heat. It’s also the perfect hot day fragrance. It’s very refreshing.
I’m by no means an expert, but I’ve heard so many fragrance channels recommend Bleu Chanel EDP over the Parfum, I’m so glad someone else agrees with me that the Parfum is the best! It’s the only one out of the range that does anything for me
Your review in Chanel Parfum was well done and I was excited to try it. It was exactly like how you described, interesting and dark but also a nice smelling sent that can be worn everyday which is complex to do. Picked up a bottle for myself and it will be my signature scent.

Yes got to agree with you about the Armani "stronger with you"..in fact the whole line is very good imo a well blended perfume for a mainstream designer

Nice list aaron! My top 8 in no particular order that I've tried this year: 1. Tom Ford tobacco oud (just a masterpiece, the best tom ford I've tried) 2. Polo cologne intense (absolute perfection release by polo. So many compliments) 3. Louis vuitton matiére noir (my favorite dominate rose fragrance) 3. Happyland cuir cafe (dark roast gorgeous coffee fragrance) 4. Initio addictive vibration ( compared to delina exclussiff but I think it's much smoother.) 5. Dior tobacolor (sexy tobacco amber and honey fragrance) 6. Swy intensely 7. 1 million prive ( so sexy gourmand) 8. Nishane hundred silent ways ( its in my top 3 of all time)

Great picks Aaron! Indeed, Chanel Bleu Parfum, Versace Eros and Stronger with you Intensely are some of my favourite buys of the last few years. Especially Stronger with you Intensely. That is such a sneaky fragrance, opens up pretty good but not mind blowing but then by the half hour mark it dries down quite beautifully and just as the name suggests keeps getting stronger and stronger such that by the 2, 3, 4, 6 hour mark I'm absolutely intoxicated by it as wafts keep blowing past my nose and reminding me that this is hands down the best of the line.
I find ''Stronger with you'' to be pretty sweet.I liked it but i smelled D&G the one next to it and yes it is very linear and balanced but i prefer it. Especially due to the fact that i have some friends with very sensitive noses and i don't want to wear anything that puts them off. Thank you for your wonderful videos! This will be great because many perfumes have an extraordinary opening but the day down is meeeeeew or boring and sometimes the opening is harsh but the dry down is gorgeous. Of cause it demand more time to do a review but what will not do to please our fellowers lol😊

My daughter shops at ULTA. She gets magazines in the mail and I smelled Bad Boy and ended up buying some. It’s my favorite out of Tom Fords Noir Extreme and Givenchy Gentleman Reserve Privee. I have all three at the moment and Bad Boy is my favorite at the moment.

I bought bleu de parfum a few months as a blind buy as it was slightly discounted,,really loved it but after watching so many other channels just completely bash it I thought I had made a big mistake buying it,,I’m new to your channel and watched your review of the parfum version and just hearing someone being positive about it has completely changed my mind on it being a mistake buying it,,I don’t care who can smell it on me because I can and I love it,,kept hearing the EDT was the best,,anyway thanks

why would you think its a mistake based on other people's nose? if you like it, thats all the matters. I dont understand judging your love for something as subjective as fragrance based on what others think of it espeically when you bought it already. Cant let the internet have that much hold on you.
I choose Bleu De Chanel Parfum over the other 2 concentrations, very dark and gorgeous, not what I was expecting at all. I've recently fallen for Portrait of a Lady and Noir de Noir, I could rant forever about them but I'll just say they're superb.
@@LeauPapier there's a resinous incense that comes with the Parfum that you just don't find with the EDP or EDT, it's almost Fougere in its aromatics whilst still keeping in touch with the Blue DNA.

Thank you Aaron. Fragrances transport us to many places and points in our lives; are hard-wired into our minds; are supremely immune to the ravages of time and ageing. For example, "RITZ" (c. 1971) by Charles of the RITZ was the scent of my Mother, who sadly passed last year. It defined her. I want to smell it on the teddy she bought me aged 5 or 6 and cry - but in a good way. I've been looking for the scent pyramid over some days so as to make a ham-fisted attempt at re-creating it, for it was discontinued in 1978 or so. All the accounts were sketchy and contradictory, but I finally found it today from a totally reliable source. Thank goodness! Best wishes.

Yes. For years it was just me working from a tiny lab creating. These reviews have shown me what people love and opened my mind. My Asperger’s brain sees patterns within kayos so I am able to understand what patterns of aromachemicls that are popular and work with them in my work. But I take what I learn and improve upon it and make it amazing value for money. I am excited for my future.
I would love to see you do a top 8 or top 10 from your own brand. Or maybe just a video of your top sellers. You have so many fragrances and so many videos about your fragrances it gets a little confusing and overwhelming. It would be nice to have one video talking about your brand. I’m very interested in purchasing something

I bought PP's Stronger For You on this recommendation. It's such a nice, clean fun smell. I actually think the scent could do better as a deodorant or a antipersperant, and I don't doubt there is one out there which is similar. It doesn't smell like a secondary school changing room, but it does have a 'sporty' kick to it.

It’s still subjective. I don’t prefer far projecting fragrances. 1-3 feet is good for me but not for you.

Hi mate, do you think the Parfum is noticeably darker than the EDP? I own the EDP and not sure if it's redundant to buy the Parfum
@@LeauPapier there's a resinous incense that comes with the Parfum that you just don't find with the EDP or EDT, it's almost Fougere in its aromatics whilst still keeping in touch with the Blue DNA.
@@nerowleyedp-thenorthernfra2929 That's interesting. I thought there's no incense note listed for the Parfum. To me the EDP has a strong incense note that gives me a headache sometimes.
Note I believe he was talking about Versace Eros Flame, not the regular Eros, as he was holding the Flame bottle version even though the image in the upper right was the original.

I’m in agreement with the comments. Most content creators are Top 10 Parrots.. repeating the same fragrances. Your take on fragrances has Mastery appeal for us mere mortals. You are into the niche so a few “Favorites “ videos a year from you will be taken in more seriously.
Thank you Aaron. Fragrances transport us to many places and points in our lives; are hard-wired into our minds; are supremely immune to the ravages of time and ageing. For example, "RITZ" (c. 1971) by Charles of the RITZ was the scent of my Mother, who sadly passed last year. It defined her. I want to smell it on the teddy she bought me aged 5 or 6 and cry - but in a good way. I've been looking for the scent pyramid over some days so as to make a ham-fisted attempt at re-creating it, for it was discontinued in 1978 or so. All the accounts were sketchy and contradictory, but I finally found it today from a totally reliable source. Thank goodness! Best wishes.

I was also expecting seeing Nasomatto! But hopefully those were not between the ones he did not like on the dry down

Yes. For years it was just me working from a tiny lab creating. These reviews have shown me what people love and opened my mind. My Asperger’s brain sees patterns within kayos so I am able to understand what patterns of aromachemicls that are popular and work with them in my work. But I take what I learn and improve upon it and make it amazing value for money. I am excited for my future.
I would love to see you do a top 8 or top 10 from your own brand. Or maybe just a video of your top sellers. You have so many fragrances and so many videos about your fragrances it gets a little confusing and overwhelming. It would be nice to have one video talking about your brand. I’m very interested in purchasing something

@@AaronTerenceHughes no of course not. It would be egotistical if you mentioned your brand in every video and said your brand is the best brand on earth like Jeremy fragrance does. Making one video highlighting the best of your brand will be very helpful to your customers especially your new ones

@@AaronTerenceHughes havent smelled it yet. but when you mentioned the linen scent, it was similar to the Eros Flame review which I had just watched. I do really love that one, but I guess it means I'll have to try out the EDP :)

Aaron is a UK national treasure.
I bought PP's Stronger For You on this recommendation. It's such a nice, clean fun smell. I actually think the scent could do better as a deodorant or a antipersperant, and I don't doubt there is one out there which is similar. It doesn't smell like a secondary school changing room, but it does have a 'sporty' kick to it.
Man, we have the same taste. I either own of have next on my list most of these. Naxos, Black Iris, Side Effect ...
