why would u stack 4 of them togheter for 400inch plus config ? why not confige them side by side for 4xresolution for 8k resolution?and still get 4 times the size :)
I understood as the goal in this case was to get higher peak luminance and brighter colors so im guessing they have set it up to that both lamps light up the same area on the screen for brighter image.
+Bruce Wayne I'll manage it if it lives up to the hype 😊 I had to have many of the g90 boards rebuilt , and right out of the box the CRT projection tubes were over driven by default 😠😠 the g90 is no longer in my theater room , it replaced a Runco 990 that was in a custom 100 inch rear screen projection setup in my living room.in the theater arenow Two Runco DTV 1200 CRT projectors used in a over under stack firing onto a 18 gain 144 inch curved screen from mocom . Both projectors had too undergo many reliability modifications 😠😠😠 last year I had 4k boards & Boeing simulator CRT tubes installed😊😊. This laser projector has to show a significantly better picture than what I already enjoy, if I'm going to brake my oath to myself of NO MORE UPGRADES 😁

Don't worry by the end of the year 4K projectors will be affordable according to new DLP chip coming out this Spring which the company that makes them said they will deal with Partners and different Projecter Companies will release 4K projectors for possible 1 or 2k

I was going to replace when they broke but they never broke. My only saving grace was I had a good projector now that is gone too :)
