Dude what a great release. This is honestly the perfect size for the majority of people who cook for themselves and family with occasional larger groups. I love my RT340 but the size has me wishing I had a bit more, but with a townhouse and small backyard, compactness is key. Also what a perfect name haha Patio Legend!
Been eyeing a Recteq for about a year and a half now. Never learned how to bbq growing up and making up for lost time. Got a Weber Kettle Mastertouch to learn some basics last year but still wanted something that I didn’t have to babysit and stress over. I was able to finally get a Recteq that meets my needs and budget-My Patio Legend arrives tomorrow afternoon. Super stoked, feel like an almost 40 yr-old kid on Christmas. Thanks for the preview! 😎👍🏻

i have a pitboss 700fb....love it..... the cooking area minus top rack is 507 sq inches....this one is 410...... this one LLOKS about same size....i dont want to lose a lot of cooking space....not sure if i wanna switch over

I am sure they make a good smoker, but 3 cons that I see that keep coming up is computer problems, no ash clean out and no pellet dump. Recteq needs to correct these items before I buy. I currently have a Campchef and it has worked perfectly over 100 cooks on it and keeps running great.
Will this hold a whole Turkey maybe 12-15 pounds or a whole chicken

Yep a minute in is all it took to know this was a sales pitch for recteq. Great company but I want an unbias review of this grill so I can make an educated choice. I already know recteq grills are great.
No disrespect but this sounds like a comercial.does it have a smoke setting? Does it have an ash pan clean out and pellet clean out?you left out the info that makes it a game changer these are important options to me.

That recteq PID holds temperature really well!
I have the 700 and the temps are right on the money at all times. Except when you open it, but, it gets right back to the temp fast. I am amazed.
How does this not have an ash dump?
No
No ash dump, therefor 1 less way the moisture can get to the pellets. Im afraid of ash dumps. Ive heard horror stories.

recteq has the best rating on the google play/apple stores. Also they are currently the only company with dual band capabilities on their controllers. It rocks!
