- Thank you to my little sister, Gracey, for being super cool and agreeing to film this with me! ^^ She is a little shy so I'm really proud of her for being brave enough to do this! On top of giving her a decora transformation, I wanted to try giving myself a challenge by creating a pastel decora look instead of my usual bright, neon, super saturated decora style! We had a ton of fun filming this so I hope y'all enjoy it :-)

Anyone can do it! Even at a young age! Like im almost in middle school and im already starting to collect pastel decora pieces after so long of me wanting to wear it! U can do it too! I recommend starting off collecting with shein!! Their stuff is cute but affordable,I also recommend looking at kids accessories if u want some decora clips mostly just anything in the little girls section can work as decora :)

What’s the difference between kidcore and indie?
Indie is actually a dark colored aesthetic, the one TikTok popularized was Indie Kid, which is another name for kidcore if I’m not mistaken.
The necklaces part is so relatable, because I have a version of my miku cosplay that’s decora inspired, and every time I forget to put on the wig before the necklaces, I have to un clip the pigtails, take off the shirt part, put on the necklaces, then put on the wig again. I am not an intelligent woman

I don't really know much abt decora so sorry if this sounds ignorant, but I think no matter where you're from you can get some really cool bright stuff from dollar stores and stuff like that.
Here they tend to have really bright colorfull kind of "kidish" quirky stuff that really makes me think of decora, I even get some of them myself cuz they just look so cool, the only thing that you have to do is be creative with it. I would say it's like being a baby goth looking at halloween stuff, they may not be of the best quality, but they work yk
