If you disagree, go talk to someone who is unemployed or better yet, an official instance. I dare you to go to those people and tell them "Looking for a job is a vacation". And telling them this scenario. I don't know, if you will still live after that. Just saying. I mean, someone that has been applying for jobs, 3 years or more knows that out of the blue they can call/invite you. You could be in any situation at that time. So, he has the chance to get the job and instead of saying "I"ll be there" you rather have him say "Nah, I can't cause I'm going on a vacation, my girlfriend already paid for it".
