I love this, especially around 4:15 when she addresses the catch-22 of the unrealistic body types of female characters. Fail to achieve an impossible body type, be judged. Succeed, be judged.

Every human being on this planet can achieve what is considered an "impossible body type", with enough dedication, a basic understanding of bio-chemistry and a good amount of willpower..you can change almost everything about you, except height, basic skeletal proportions, hair and some other thing; .with a low level bodyfat, some lean mass, and a good costume you wil look absolutely good, and you will forget about those "unrealistic body type" problems in a matter of seconds. you can found info for free in the web, and even here on youtube; the only thing that is missing is your will..so pls stop making excuses.

Yaya is my hero! People who don't get cosplay, I explain it like she does. "Dressing up as these characters allows me to be whatever I want to be, and embody the personality, and feelings of that character."
She is such a sweetheart- and also a great role model! I once had the chance to talk to her at a convention and she even took her time to give me some basic advices about sewing.
And her mom was so incredibly nice and cute, too ^-^
Yaya got me into cosplay- she has always inspired me with her gorgeous creations. Now that I now cosplay, she inspires me with her words of wisdom. She is truly an amazing role model ;v;

Michael Ulrich: Yeah, there ale lots of extremely skilled cosplayers. Yaya Han is skilled _and_ sexy and as far as I know, not many have done as much as her for making cosplaying cool and popular. She is showing the cosplay world in a good light. So stop getting butthurt over someone else's success...

WOW never thought I would be in something like this. I was part of MLP group shown at 1.33. We used a lot of YaYa's accessories for it, and was for an awesome cause Autism awareness.
She was so down to earth when i met her and she gave us a speech answered all my questions that’s nice of her..i hope she remembers me if i meet again.

I met at a con and almost cried she paused from her shoot to let people who saw her take pictures and apologized she couldn't talk to use because she didn't want to keep the photographer waiting

I admire her struggle to get where she is, but I wish she were nicer to fans off-camera...I have been told many a times from friends who go and see her at cons that she's extremely rude. Probably she was just exhausted in general because cons definitely can be stressful and exhausting, but... Idk. I haven't met her yet personally but in the Denver area she's not very well liked among those I've worked with >_> Hoping that when I do finally get to go to a con with her as a guest that she'll show me that they're wrong.
