Funny how a great artist can create genre-busting works of beauty, a creative accomplishment that humbles and inspires most of us. There's always folks that just need to live within their boxes and they'll never get there, and no need to give them any mind.
Always amazed when someone can pull off a daw-less set that allows a cohesive performance like this. Wonderful setup in the hands of an amazing talent! ❤
love these vids. They are like a condensation of electronic music form the last 50 years, distilled to in to this lovely nectar. Your whole channel is beautiful.
Siiiick! Love Deep tech house. Got the right amount of skippy to the beat something missing from hardware on YT. Question: which is your master? Octatrack?
@@RedMeansRecording The second track sounds like deep house descended from records like Iz & Diz would DJ at The Top in San Francisco in the late 90s. Tracks from Prescription and Warehouse records (Abacus - Erotic Illusions EP, Ron Trent - Altered States). Those records were a lot about the bassline groove, with some little percussion. Like yours is. Works well for you, you've given the bassline the heavy lifting, and then the kick is there, but in support, not fighting for space. Bass and kick sometimes need a kind of dom / sub relationship ;) House tracks can have more of their own character if the bass leads, because too many house tracks now have done clobbering 4 / 4 kicks to the fore. Have you ever tried sparingly exaggerating the accents of some of the hats, and snares. Can have a surprisingly big effect of defining the groove. Can be one of the most hypnotising and satisfying things to play with, once the bass/kick hierarchy is locked down nicely.

Now there's a man who knows what he's doing.
Perfect for chillin’ inside, while it’s scorchio outside.
Glad to see the Mono back on the channel
dude you go ALL IN. no corner cutting whatsoever. excellent work, Mr. Red.
I could listen to your sounds forever and ever. You never cease to amaze and inspire me, thank you for existing, Jeremy.

I really appreciate getting to see the vibes iPad, it always matches the music perfectly.
Fab set! Great boogie for a cloudy Tuesday.
Didn't know whether to dance or jam. Cleared a bunch of floor space...
Shivering and pleasure laughing alone in my bed thinking that I'm tripping in a clubhouse
This set is full of surprises
Damn dude. This is so good. the track oround 17:00 is really beautiful but the entire set is insane.
Nice set!! Good vibes. Hey have you done a set with the hapax??? You featured it in your channel but then disappeared....
I used it in some performances on my second channel. It's a tool that has a specific function and vibe.
I don't care what the other kids say - I think this is cool. 💜
I had to do a hard thing tonight. thanks for the ride, it helped.
Oh ! Thank you for this cool moment ! 👍🏻
That last track! 🎉❤
Proper banger innit bruv
You're so good at mixing. I can never get a bass line and the kick to sit well. Great set bud.
Love this!! ❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥
Love Toro

Enjoyed the set, thanks!
Awesome!
fabulous, you're a joy. thank you as always!

I am an amateur and I cannot get my head around how to use multiple pieces of gear at once
Solid! Would be cool if when you turned a knob you yanked your hand away really fast. /s
lol
I'm writing monochrome code into my monochrome screen, listening to mono music.
Love your music. Is there a main place that you get vocal samples from or is it just stuff you have gathered over the years?
The latter!
I wish I know how your deluge is organized ( inside the kits ) to change drums and so on ? ….
Could you describe it briefly ?
i have a video linked in the description doing just that.
I like the bit where there's house music
heck yeah
Is the deluge running all Midi?
No. Each device is running it down.
Wicked.
Sweeeeet!
So deep! ❤
Hey Jeremy are those m50x headphones? They look a bit bulkier - curious about them
in this set i'm using dt 700 pro x
/strongbad voice Hey, I think I like this kind of metal.
This is what everyone thinks contemporary DJ's are doing when they're just touching knobs between tracks
You're at 666 videos - I suggest taking a break
Great performance. Not a deep house tho.
Except the deep groovebox knowledge required to learn both an Octatrack and a Deluge and then use them together.
Ok then what is it
