Ideas:
Fortify the generator and the sonic emitter. The island's been lost once - learn from that.
Rebuild the big house on the west shore, or tear it down and build a better one in its place,
Add Mounted Mirelurk heads and claw decorations to the settlement in tasteful locations.
Remember the 3 Bs of a shore-side settlement - boats, buoys, and beach furniture.
