they should be tuned to G. some are E or C depending a number of keys and lenght, Those Kitenderyus are certified for pure sound..and yes they are quality built and the wood used are dried 7yrs or more before its fit for Taishokoto use

Basically, the Taishogoto is kind of an electric keyed mountain-dulcimer… and I WANT ONE 🤩 Sadly, here in the UK, I probably have more chance of finding JFK in our local high street than a Taishogoto… hope I can visit Tokyo one day!

The easist thing is to use a 1/8 inch to 1/4 inch adaptor- like a headphone adaptor, and then you can use a regular chord.
Could you please make a video on how to play that Taisho goto
#1 is basically middle C and then it goes like a piano. CDEFGAB and repeats. Then pick or strum away. But as you can see I really don't know how to play well. Get one and have some fun.
Do you just put standard guitar strings on it?
Yes, but it is like 3 high Es and 2 G strings.
