I also own a YAMAHA TH-10E, but I've kept it in the case for years and haven't played it. But this video reminded me of the greatness of TH-10E. And now I'm taking the TH-10E out of the case and enjoying playing. thank you very much!
They sell them cheap in my local branch of Hard Off. I kid you not, that’s the name. It branched off from Book Off which just sells books. My friends band had a couple of players using them a couple of years back. You are such a Japanophile! Your pronunciation wasn’t bad at all. Of course if you were here and said nothing more than Konichiha everyone would tell you “Nihongi jouzu desu ne”
There's a Punjabi version of this type instrument from India they call the "Indian Banjo". It has the typewriter style keys as well and sounds similar to this.
Really looking forward to seeing that wild taishogoto/synth combo! I've been diving into the world of taishogotos myself with the Suzuki Ran series and they're truly fascinating instruments.
I just ordered one and in my searching I actually discovered that some companies actually made synth controllers like taishogotos! similar to what casio did with the synth guitar as far as what I can tell. I couldn't ever find the name specifically but they seemed to be there
Strings are too close together, doesn't really work too well with the thumb! Maybe I'll grow my nails on one hand again, but I might lose a few subs and friends XD
@@JAdeWii_ btw, I love watching your videos about your vintage keyboards.. Which do you recommend between the PT1 and SK1 (or any other model)? I own an MT-210 which I love though I want a small portable Casio to put in my backpack on trips.
@@JAdeWii_ I'm trying to decide from the old Casios for my collection. I'd like a model with octave shift and headphone jack. Can you please suggest me a model? Thank you so much!
Beautiful. Inspiring to learn about this lovely sounding instrument. Thanks for always promoting innovative and fresh sounds. 🙏
Can the tuning of each key be adjusted easily or at all?
first time i saw this i quickly ordered a electric one by Suzuki can nt wait for it to get here. I loved yur presentation :)
"Alright I finally came over my equipment buying frenzy, I can finally have money and space again"

Thanks for the video. You must turn the finger picks over, the way they are designed to be used - not like psycho claws.

Its called bulbul tarang

Interesting. This really has a mountain dulcimer vibe to it.
Cool, it's like a nyckelharpa
Picks should the other way round, no?
Try using your thumb to pick down at the top string and use 2 fingers to strum up. Other 2 fingers to pivot
Strings are too close together, doesn't really work too well with the thumb! Maybe I'll grow my nails on one hand again, but I might lose a few subs and friends XD
Hello I have a intrument like this taishogoto harp but I didn’t know how to tuned?may I know pls.?I’m a begginer for this instrument?
Great informative video. Thanks!
How to tune 6strings taishogoto?
Sounds really relaxing btw
I bought one a couple of years ago, a fun little instrument, mine has electromagnetic pickups too
Well, that's just beautiful.
Who else is obsessed with asian sounds? I blame Dr.Dre.
Can anyone guess what's in the tent to the side :O ?!
I blame Wu Tang, and anime.
Tent is full of *cannabis*
I love Asian music and spent almost 2 years listening to almost nothing but Indian classical.
Dimana saya bisa membeli itu?
What kind of string is that the same as a guitar string number 1,2,3,4,5,6?
How do you tune it
Very educational as well! Thank you for sharing
Lovely demonstration! Do you know of an instrument like this that uses a more traditional piano keyboard layout?
Suzuki tes 371
@@JAdeWii_ Sweetl! I was surprised to see how much it goes for but it seems very unique.
