    You can fix the intonation of the instrument by pushing the bridge back and forth until you find the right spot.

      Also I think a quick way to find the right spot is you do the same distance of the 12th fret from the nut from the 12th fret, that at least worked for me

    Great work David - love these kind of quirky instruments. Really good for adding texture and interest to all kinds of tracks.

    If you tune the strings to the correct tension you will have no intonation problems.

    Thanks for the super tutorials! Do you have to pay a license fee to NI to sell 3rd party libraries? Or is that only if you want them to benefit from their browser system?

    Great sampling! My only complaint is that the taishogoto is monophonic, while the kontakt version is polyphonic. That can be changed easily though.

    It sounds good but does not sound like a real Taishogoto. Due how it works it's not possible to play multiple notes at one on real Taishogoto.

    You won’t get as good of samples if you isolate the strings. Gotta do them all at once for natural sound

    So you didn't learn how to play the Taishogoto at all, just labeled it an "unusable instrument"? wow.

      rosierjay what? the taishogoto in general is a great instrument. this particular specimen is pretty impossible to play, though.

      @@DavidHilowitzMusic I have a similar one with the same tunning problem I adjusted the keys very carefully (all of them in G) and replaced the strings too (they were a bit old) hope it helps, anyway good luck 👍👍
