Mike is giving the typical answers i get from talking to people who do not know EV's, they all mention Hydrogen and Bio-fuels all of which require a massive power infrastructure upgrade and still use internal combustion which is still very inefficient meaning more of it needs to be produced. Lightness is the way forward for better range rather than bigger and bigger batteries but this seems a long way off yet. I've not been to Scotland or experienced their charge network, Looking at Jonathan Portafield's channel, He doesn't seem to have any issues driving from Orkney to Leicester. I think we have plenty of charging options, but in my case I'm trying to find the cheapest, so maybe being a little picky would be my downfall. I know Cornwall has a much better network now and we had no issues there when we visited.
I think Mike is definitely being on the 'level' with us here, but, he certainly isn't looking '42' anymore. He's a 'True Believer' in not leaving our 'Sons & Daughters' in 'Hot Water' in the future... we all know what 'Children Say'.

Very random. How about Mark King on heat pumps?
And Eddie izzard on railway sleepers.
Mike is into car racing.
@@Inzo42 Ah, that makes sense. I only knew Mike as the musical genius that he is. Some people are far too talented...
Mark actually drives a Tesla I believe... Not ideal.
@@850r2 Just the bass model
Didn't know he split from wife , shame
Neither did i 😢
I suspect the sub-£22k 'Chinese Way' is the likely outcome for white good family vehicles next decade.

@mastercraft5798 There's Something about you mate.
@@eltonwelsby787 Stop playing 'Love Games' with me.
I think Mike will go electric at some point. Guaranteed.
That’ll be a no then. His face says it all
Queuing for hours in motorway services for a place to charge with expensive electricity is not progress .
And I promised myself never to buy an EV and not get get caught up in the climate scam.😀
Me too what a crock
@@Holygasoline Maybe you should read some peer-reviewed scientific papers then, instead of right wing social media.
