Your comment on the throttle cable is interesting. I too have replaced the cable, the grommet where it goes through the firewall / bulkhead was missing. But more interestingly is I suspect the bell crank it pull is partly seized. The actual mechanical load of the butterfly is not huge, or shouldn’t be, so why does the cable need to handle such a pull? I wait with bated breath to see how you get on. While you are there the hood release is a fragile item. I replaced it once, discovered the PO had too, so when mine failed again I made a steel cable anchor. Not Porsches greatest bit of work.
my 1985s also no power from a dead stop, when in drive it seems like hitting the gas pedal doesn't open the throttle, but if in park the pedal is more sensitive, and it revs up freely. in gear it doesn't rev up quickly. I hope the injectors helps your car if so I will do the same. I also need my automatic transmission tuned or rebuilt. bangs into 3rd gear and again no knockdown gear...car is super slow off the line.
