Fairy knots are a HUGE struggle for me, especially because I can't seem to fight the urge to cut them off🙃 I also LOVE a good wash n go because my hair hates being stretched with heat (I have quite a bit of high porosity sections) so I think I'm about to go through a season of braids/twist-outs and see what happens. Y'all pray fa me😅
Yes! I cut my hair from sisterlocks mid back to a super short cut. 3 and a half years later, 2 colors, multiple cuts we finally seeing the growth and progress. I 100% started sealing my leave ins and creams with hair grease! I noticed i have less breakage and shedding on washdays. I dont do wash n gos b/c the knots but I’m going to use the wild growth oil for 3 months and see whats up with that I already do deep condition and olaplex every other wash day and it is paying off. Cant wait for the next vid
I have learned so much from you. I started my natural hair journey in 2016 and I didn’t do be chop and just clip away at permed hair. Today I have a beautiful crown of hair. Thanks for all the great videos and tips

KeKe J's locs are everything! I loved that clip. I love those locs. I used to wear my hair like that with twists or braids for so many years. Now I do braid outs with Ecoslay Jello shot or Xtreme gel with a leave in like mane choice moringa and castor oil.
I LOLed at "it's not up to you" regarding your hair growing down. I'm waiting for my hair to grow down some more, but it's healthy and growing so I'm happy.

I big chopped in august 2020 and I had my first trim after 1 year (honestly I could’ve trimmed it a couple months before LOL) but yeah I’m trimming every 6-8 months. I used to trim every 3 months and I was not seeing growth. Cheers to new hair journeys!

First of all, You're hair is so freaking gorgeous 😍!!! Secondly, I love your explanation of the best ways to retain length and I've definitely learned that consistency, moisture, method and sometimes just leaving it the heck alone for while helps my hair flourish. Like my beautician always says , as long as you have healthy hair(& scalp), the length will come naturally!!

The question about frizz vs breakage was such a good question!! I thought my hair was frizzy initially. But when I touched the frizz and pulled on it, it was by my ear but my hair was passed my shoulders!
So I recently cut it 7ins and my hair has never been fuller. I was obsessed with my Bob so I have some heat damage but we coming back stronger 😇

21 and been natural all my life. My hair has been bleached and dyed since last December and it's still healthy but I just can't be bothered to deal with it 🥲. I have cut all my hair off probably 3 times just because I like it. My hair is past bra strap length now and I wanna cut it again 😫
