The moment you stop stressing about length and just put your heart into caring about the hair that you already have on your head is the moment you see growth. I used to absolutely obsess about growing my hair and then one day I decided that I was just being absolutely ridiculous. It's just length, it's not that serious, worry about the hair you have first. So that's what I did, I started truly putting in the work and when I look at my hair a year ago, to where it is now, my strands have definitely paid me back for that work.
This happened to me during 2020 quarantine. I just decided not to look at the length or stress myself over growth plateau and by the grace of God I changed products and went back to basics like using grease and my hair FINALLY grew way past shoulder length and I'm thankful l to God for the wisdom.

There is dimethicone in the TGIN deep conditioner. It coats the cuticle in order to help smooth it out and give it shine, however it is not water soluble therefore you will need a good shampoo to wash it out. I use both a satin pillow case and bonnet. It feels good on my skin, period.
Big chopped my daughter's hair (12yr old) the same time she did. I actually showed my daughter her big chop video to convince her she will still look beautiful 😍. We cut about the same amount she did because of her heat damage. We do protective styling mostly and low manipulation styling and my daughter's hair looks like it has grown all of her inches back. We do not wash weekly more like monthly. Deep condition every other month and her hair is back like it has never left. For my daughter's case I think genetics play a key role because we just don't have that much time nor patience to wash 4c hair on a weekly bases and it's working just fine for us. So, I think genetics can play a role but if you do the right things I think anyone's hair can grow and retain length. Good luck you guys!

💕💕💕💕
I’m getting some wild growth oil tomorrow. My hair grows long naturally but I’m with speeding up the process! Helmet of salvation!!!😂😂😂
Gurl your hair has grown so much!!! I love it!
Ugh your hair is looking gorgeous! I love your hair journey, you been cute wit it the whole time 👌🏾❤️
thank you queen!!!
Your hair is beautiful niece! So glad you cut it!
Sis wild hair growth oil is the damn truth, the blueprint, it does what needs to be done lol! Loved your video 💛
OKAYYYY!!!?? the absolute truth idk why everybody isnt using this stuff by now lol
I get big nasty whiteheads from that oil or I would use it too 🤢
@@chocolatethunda67 ... the wild growth oil gave me big bumps on my scalp which was very sore. It was painful and itchy asf. I discontinued using it. Glad it worked for others but it was a nightmare for me and you it seems lol
Maybe you guys could try it as a hot oil treatment ?massage it in, And wash it out so its less likely to make the bumps
@@cloudqbaby-yx9eh ...lol thanks but I’m too scared to try it again even as a hot oil treatment. I don’t want another setback with my hair. Too many ingredients in that oil.
I stretch my hair with heat, never used heat protection and don’t think it’s necessary. Your hair is 😍
Love the hair. Got heat damage and chopped off my hair. This is my inspiration. Thanks.
Same here. A beauty salon burned my hair straightened it to cut it.
you're so welcome! keep pushing, it'll grow back before you know it!
I realized u dont use shea moisture deep conditioner. It doesnt work well with your hair?
@@annettemurphy6323 ah the heat damage club welcomes you lol
Jess! Ma' Dukes aka Latasha loves your Natural hair videos... (Health over LENGTH is my Motto) Consistency is 🗝️ key for LENGTH Retention!!! It can be done. Keep up the good work, Young Lady.
If we dry our hair on a t-shirt, why would it suddenly turn evil and start snagging our hair when we wear one. This must be a natural myth that we have all been convinced to believe @onlyonejess don't let the comment warriors tell you how to thrive. Your hair is growing and glowing 💁🏾♀️
The growth is immaculate sis BRAVO
Girl I've literally been waiting for a video. Gosh, glad you're back. It's the hair for me 😍

You haven’t already, would you mind making a tutorial for this look? I want to get back into twist outs but I feel like my twist outs are trash, especially because I have bangs and weird layers and and wash n go’s are the only style that’s working. 😩😩
I love your hair growth journey. Thank you
Hey gorgeous Jess! YOU'RE HAIR LOOKS AMAZING!!!👏🏽, I love all your videos, you've helped me so much with my hair growth goals and journey. Still a work in progress. Thanks for always keeping it real! Love the dimples, I too was blessed with them!
Hi🤗Jess...I must say that hair came back with a vengeance it looks absolutely beautiful I know your so happy with your progress... I'm happy for you
Looking good... I’ve started to stretch my hair with my twist outs... I love showing my length. And I like the Miche polishing oil and leave in as well. But Taliah Wajjjid is my staple. Thanks for the update!!!
*There are many oils that can be used to promote healthy and thick hair.*
*Argan oil* _is rich in vitamin E, which promotes a balanced scalp environment for great locks!_
*Olive oil* _has loads of antioxidants like Vitamin E too so it's perfect if you want more protection from split ends._
Girl the hair growth is real. Looks great love that for you🤗🤗🤗
My hair loves taliah waajid green apple and aloe. Love love that line for me.
oh i def love taliah waajid curly curl cream! i haven't tried their other products yet though. and thank you!!!
@@OnlyOneJess 😊
My hair is very fine (if the average person has 3.6 billion hair follicles then I have 500,000-not really but someone knows my struggles lol) and it's like moving the earth to get volume lol. I have accept my hair is not going to be voluminous lol.
Omg!! ur hair transformation is amazing. You r absolutely beautiful. Be well always.............
I really like the smell of the wild growth hair oil. This proves just like taste buds, sense of smell is different too. 😂 Your growth is beautiful!❤️
Your hair looks beautiful! I love the cut too

Is it working
@@chickwitthagoodies I think it is. but I also have a wash and protective style routine that I stick to while taking shedavi vitamins so it could be that too.🤷🏾♀️
The vibe you were catching at the start of the video w the music was so cute to me idk why, i kept replaying it but I love you
I love, love, love the real and transparent energy you bring Jess, and let's talk about length and that glow🦋
Yesss. The curls are backkk 💯 💯. Your hair looks Amazing. My hair is High Porosity and sucks up moisture fast and get dry as the desert even faster 🤣 🤣. STAY SAFE EVERYONE. GOD BLESS 🙏🏾 🙏🏾.
Your twist out looks bomb 💣😍😍!!!
YES FINALLY SOMEONE WHO HAS LOW POROSITY HAIR, DYED/BLEACHED THEIR HAIR, HAD HAIR DAMAGED AND DID BUG CHOP. I have damaged ends because of bleached and now ima big chop so thanks for the inspiration❤️
Could you post ur big chop on your UA-cam channel?
When you said "Indian in our family" I actually laughed out loud 😆😆😆😆 people use to say that ALL the time & try to fight you if you said otherwise 🙄
We just need to appreciate our hair. Stop comparing. Learn what makes our hair happy 😁
OAN: I remember this "don't cut your hair folks" [not me I was like yep cut it Jess!] NOW LOOK AT YOU 😁😁😁😁😁
Good to see u back. Consistency is so true and just as hard to live by. Thanks for the encouragement. I purchased the Wild Growth Oil months ago with the intent on doing right by my strand's and don't. That oil has only touched my scalp three dang times!! Mad at myself. Extremely delighted in ur growth and smile in the video. Continued blessings to u and urs.
