1948 Singer 15-91 test sew after refurbishing

The machine was cleaned and detailed extensively, reassembled and adjusted back to factory specs. Motor, light fixture, foot controller and wall plug were all rewired and all connections were soldered for a good strong electrical connection.
I'm always amazed at what turns up under decades of dust, old grease and neglect. This 1948 Singer 15-91 is definitely ready for many, many more years of sewing pleasure.

The markings show the age and love that the machine received from its original owner, I'd say keep them there! Lol! For crying out loud she's an old gal with lots of miles! You did great!👍🏾(I have a 15-86 my favorite machine to use!)

you should always raise the needle, then raise the presser foot!
