Aww shucks, you beat me to it! I just uploaded a quick and dirty unboxing from my hotel room at Mining Disrupt. The internet connection is terrible here :( takes forever to post videos Love you bro-ski
My buddy just got his 8 ks0 ultras. I suggest adding a floor fan or something to move a little air over them. the things COOK, like will injure you type of hot.
I think it is great. Picked one up in the June batch and another for the July (with the lower price and coupon code). I started getting into Kaspa back in April and scrambled to grab a used overclocked KS0 in late April for $400 and was essentially able to jump models and come in at $300-400 a unit. It's rough that the network hashrate keeps going up and will likely double / triple in the next couple months but I guess thats all part of the game. The one thing that I have been very happy about is how amazing this network is. Really hoping that Kaspa gets the adoption it deserves and the world gets to take advantage of it. Thanks for creating all the great content! I never would have gotten into mining without resources like you on you tube.
USA - The KS0 Ultra ... Good purchase, can peak hash above 400 Gh/s but typically runs at 375 Gh/s @ 107 watts. The Software cannot find the network parameters unless you use a STATIC ip address. Just one 120mm fan is enough to bring temperatures down to a normal range, cool enough to handle... otherwise, love it at the reduced price. Amazon carries it as well.
Bought two. Hoping i won't regret it. Seen a lot of negative feedback on the ultras so far like low hashrate, connectivity issues and the like. Mine are only running at 320 GH/s after 12 hours. My OG V1 KS0s are all at 200 GH with pbfarmers and no issue
I'm just getting into crypto and I'm not to sure about all of the different miners however I do like the look of the KS0 Ultra, I'm trying to decide right now weather it would be a good buy with how cheap (i think) it is and with the hopes KAS will go up. A nice little test run would be really appreciated, GL to everyone else as well.
My KS0 Ultra came in yesterday and with the coupon I'm going to buy one more since it will be half the price. At current prices it may not pay for itself but hopefully it will go up and I can ROI.
I bought four of these Ultras to build a little portable heater for my daughter’s room! Haven’t built it yet, so winning some Kaspa before mining it would be neat!
I like the Ultras for their value to hash ratio. I was thinking about getting a Goldshell KA Box but now I am more inclined towards ordering 4 of these. Thanks Red Panda.
I think KAS is very much in the future and KS0 Ultra is also substantial. I currently have 30 brand new machines on hand, do you want them, I can share them with you for a great price.
The Iceriver KS0 Ultra runs so hot, you could fry an egg on it for breakfast! Seriously, this thing's heat output is so impressive, it doubles as a kitchen appliance. Forget your stove, just grab your Iceriver and cook up a full breakfast. Eggs, bacon, pancakes-you name it, this beast can handle it!

Hello I'm Thinking of Purchasing Ice River KS5L Hosting Plan on Their Official Website, Should I Go With It Please Explain Briefly or Make a Video on It.
Just got my Ultras. Bought two just before they dropped the price. Nice that IceRiver gave a coupon to those that bought. I ended up buying two more. Brought the average cost down quite a bit. With the network hashrate increasing rapidly, it will be interesting to see when the next version comes out. I would expect December to be releasing a new KS0 X. Either way, will let them run.
I recently sold my KS0 Pros and I won’t buy an Ultra primarily due to the aggressive emissions schedule. If I did buy one though, I’d resell it after 6 months max and hope to make an overall profit. With the Bitmain machines coming online soon though, even a profit after 6 months isn’t guaranteed. This is a risky buy at best.
It really looks like a great miner for home use. I’m on the fence still…bought a KS1 earlier on at a moderately high price and struggled to ROI-it’s currently being hosted offsite to give me more spread on electricity cost. Crazy thinking that these KS0 Ultras are doing almost the same hash rate as that full size screamer.
@RedPandaMining Did you notice Fan 1 and Fan 2 stayed at 0 rpm for almost the entire video. At the very end I saw you do a refresh and Fan Speed went from Abnormal to Normal. I am having the same problem except mine won't come on at all. I contacted IceRiver and they said do not change them to manual speed that they are eventually supposed to come on but so far mine aren't and the temps are very hot.
@RainBitcoins Thanks for the info! I got up to 80c with no fans in 48 mins and quit. Ok I'm going to have to push the heat to the limits and see if mine come on. This is so weird. Guess I won't be using the shroud and cooling grills 🥴
@@benard9721 Ya, I'm hoping an overclock will come around that will give me the full 400gh/s or even a bit more which will allow me to cool the device properly. So either firmware update from Iceriver or an aftermarket firmware.

Thank you RPM for the informative videos. I have been subscribed to your channel since the beginning of your channel. I was thinking about buying the KSO ultra but I think buying the coin is a better investment at this time. For a beginner miner that wants to get their feet wet, it’s my opinion KSO ultra is a great choice. Cheers!
So guys, help me understand something, I am somewhat new at this. In the video (point 7:50) it's mentioned that you can purchase 2200 Kaspr for the price of this unit. Also mentioned, this unit makes on 10 Kaspr per day. My question is how does this make any sense? I get if you really like mining or you like to use these as space heaters, but from a best use of dollars, I don't get it. Tell me what I am missing on this? Thanks
You are not missing anything, the average person buying these doesn't know how to math. You will never yield 2200 kaspa with this unless the price of kaspa drops 90% and everyone shuts theirs down. The argument that kaspa goes to $1 means nothing because buying the coin for $280 worth now would get you the $2200 later. Just because it's 10 today doesn't mean you will be getting 10 200 days from now, it's likely going to be below 1 a day. I have an original ks0 from nearly a year ago august and at the time kaspa was .04 and I paid like $900. I could have bought 22,500 kaspa instead but have only mine about 10,000 and soon it will cost more to run than I earn making 3 kaspa a day. If I had bought 22500 I would have $3850 worth today, instead have mined $1700 worth. So yes I made my dollar value back but at less than 50% of what I could have if I bought kaspa instead. So it's opportunity cost you are losing potential gains by buying miners vs coin. Only time it works out better if you go years without a price change that would curb demand and or no more models manufactured and sold
i had decided not to buy a kaspa miner but the price on these is pretty enticing. the fact that its only 100w is another enticing factor. hmm, decisions, decisions.
I don't know much about kaspa and the hashrate, however, this is $39 more than the pro and you get double the speed. I think longterm if you buy a solid amount n let them run, you'd have a solid passive income setup.
I ordered one too, the chinesse girl shipped it yesterday so I can´t wait :D, maybie Red Panda mining madman lends his aid and supports me on this difficult yourney while waiting for my own one, I hope it pays itself off, ordered for 450€ about 480 USD
same here, there is a fix in the kaspa discord. if u put ur pool info, it actually conects and mines. GUI is just bugged out. u have to go to ip settings and change it to static, and copy and paste all settings from previous ks0 if u have one or other miners, and then restart miner. then it should let u fix it, ( u have to do it one more time and update ip settings) and then hit ok, u dont need to restart after that.
@RedPandaMining awesome content, as for home cheap, very low wattage miners i think its always best to no matter want, and also buy the coin because low wattage miners you can run them until they die and they will payback way more than it cost, for me loving in the US i only paid $282 with your discount code to my door, no import fees its too cheap for that.
The lower price point is extermely appealing however with the emission schedule and increase in hashrate on the network its getting harder and harder to justify buying some of these miners. Still tempted to order one though 😉
The ICERIVER KAS KS0 ULTRA seems like an extremely interesting choice for mining, especially considering its specifications and performance. It has a high hash rate and efficiency that surpass many other devices on the market. This means it can significantly increase the chances of mining profitability, which is crucial for any serious miner. Additionally, its cooling and energy efficiency are top-notch, reducing operational costs and extending the device's lifespan. The design is compact and practical, making it easy to set up and maintain. However, I must consider the cost of acquiring this device. Although the initial investment is high, the long-term benefits and return on investment can justify this expense. Overall, the ICERIVER KAS KS0 ULTRA represents a solid investment for those serious about mining and looking for a reliable and efficient device. :)
Hi .. Curious things .. KsPRO with OC ( Tswift ) begins to mine after 50 validations, and even mines at 360, with fans at full speed and the extra of 6500 RPM + the over one at 3500 goes to these temperatures, at fullspeed at K1Pool .. 415 GH reflexted normally ... 56 and 43 degrees .. you Network difficulty is bigger than K1 ... right now at 22:35 Spain Hour is 339.01 P. And yes you are right mining, is too hard .. my 16 machines drive 4,95 at full speed, for just 125 Kaspa a Day ...today 26/06 .... Just as a good idea ... I'm Saling all I mine and exchange to ML, and Staking on a Pool at 98 % API or buying ALPH that now is in low price ....
Just got 2 in, 2 more inbound. For the new price, hard to pass even if it takes a year to roi. Still a great entry point to mining for small at home miners. Can't wait for the ks0 super mega ultra pro special edition. Nothing buy love panda
I dropped the ball on the KS0 and got busy elsewhere, that turned out to be quite unfortunate. With this one, again it is tempting, especially with the price drop. But, damn, this close to the bull it is speculative tri-fold. Hard trigger to pull.
For under 300 dollars for the kso ultra, I don't feel it is much risk and has a good chance of roi. Power draw is cheap, I have been thinking of getting one.
I got one 350 is the stable hash rate, not quite 400, and I do have fans at 100 and extra fan on top in a chilled room. Sad. Only positive is the efficiency and longevity due to no overclock. If they are $200 makes sense for having a miner. I am using to pad bags, so as long as making more KAS than cost of power I am ok with it.
I’m buying the coin. But running one just as an experiment. Been getting different miners and have the kids involved. Letting them learn through my cost and failure lol.
KSO ultra seems like a nice low wattage unit but I really would like the price closer to $200 since the hashrate is just going to continue to climb and the emissions just slow take away the yield.
It is a good idea to buy when you have a low electricity rate. You will probably have the same amount of Kaspa at the end of next year as if you had bought the coin.
If you are trying to add to bag and want to mine forever but don’t want to spend thousands , then this is best bang for buck. Just add a 5v usb 120 on top , and unless you overclock should hold up ok.
Tbh red panda is right, buying this is not a really recomended thing because of the current mining network. But as a crypto miner, the most interesting thing for buying a mining mechine is the crypto yield and efficiency. Which the Kaspa Asics been winning for a while now
It’s a good miner for people with out 240 volts. 400 gh for only 100 w that is perfect for people how want to mine but don’t want to spend lots of money.
I have a couple of these on order, nice to see this video of what to expect. I'm going to see if my solar system in my shed can run these or one anyway. Newb question ,what does the Diff actually mean, I know it means difficulty but what does that mean exactly. That was shocking to see you almost get burned, jesus. How easy is it to apply new thermal paste?
I'm getting about 440MH. But couldn't get it over 280GH until I got the temps up to around 67C. I had to turn down the internal fans to about 60% lol. It sits by the AC so.. ya. Works great tho. Waiting on my 2nd one. Ready for Overclocks for sure :D

I ordered one too, the chinesse girl shipped it yesterday so I can´t wait :D, maybie Red Panda mining madman lends his aid and supports me on this difficult yourney while waiting for my own one, I hope it pays itself off, ordered for 450€ about 480 USD
Got mine yesterday but had issues with the login.
Typed in the IP but it wouldn't showup kept saying denied yet i have 20 KS0 Pros running.
same here, there is a fix in the kaspa discord. if u put ur pool info, it actually conects and mines.
Not bad for the price! I think buying KAS is still a better option.
I've wish i had the same experience. You are a pro. I wish i can win the hashrate 🎉
I feel like the price is good and only 100watts you can leave it running forever
Eventually both make sense, Mining and buying. My hobby is mining so I do both 😅🤓
Just got 2 in, 2 more inbound.
Great vid RPM I did just pick one of these up myself. I figured for the price to just let it rip.
It's interesting that they managed to double the hashrate at the same power consumption.
I think it is great as a first home miner, low price - low risk and can easily pay itself.
Good value after the June 15th discount. And future of kaspa it will be worth buying it!
I bought 3 KSoU and waiting for them to arrive.😊
I like at the new low price, and you can mine SDR or Bugna also. thinking of getting one.
I'm excited about the Ks0 ultra and perfect for a starter hobbyist miner.
KSO ultra seems like a nice low wattage unit but I really would like the price closer to $200 since the hashrate is just going to continue to climb and the emissions just slow take away the yield.
I am waiting for my miner 😅 nice video
It is a good idea to buy when you have a low electricity rate. You will probably have the same amount of Kaspa at the end of next year as if you had bought the coin.
I think it’s neat. I had 3 in my cart then ended up not buying any. Still on the fence. Might still get one. Pretty cheap.
Nice video, I just received 1 KS0 ultra last night and its mining. I got another 2 in July batch. I only get 350-380 hashrate don’t know why?
How is it going now?
If you are trying to add to bag and want to mine forever but don’t want to spend thousands , then this is best bang for buck. Just add a 5v usb 120 on top , and unless you overclock should hold up ok.
This looks great. I would buy it becoz of lower price, higher Hash power. Thats the best in this range of price.
Always fun to mod and play around with.I like the price and low power, but definitely needs a fan.😅
Great review, but can you check if the PSU plug has changed or it was like before on all models? 5.5-2.5mm
I got mine how do I see it hashing in the dash board
I have a couple of these on order, nice to see this video of what to expect. I'm going to see if my solar system in my shed can run these or one anyway. Newb question ,what does the Diff actually mean, I know it means difficulty but what does that mean exactly. That was shocking to see you almost get burned, jesus. How easy is it to apply new thermal paste?
I think its a hard sell if the network hash and diffulity keeps going up. Might be easier to buy the coin but who knows
Im in for the long game and the Ultra seems like a good buy for me!
I think the ks0u would make a nice little space heater in a cold corner of your house.
The efficiency is still pretty nice, and convenient foe those at home miners. Not a terrible miner.
Price is reasonable not like in Ks0, so it's definitely worth to try it.
