Paddling Sam Rayburn Reservoir (Marion Ferry to Hanks Creek)(July 19, 2024)

I’m taking advantage of a slightly cooler day and a north wind in July. I drive up to Marion Ferry Park boat ramp. I launch early and begin a long paddle home along the west side of Sam Rayburn.
