  • Progress is being made. In this episode the fuel tank, K member, and lower control arms go in. I also wrap up some of the stuff on the back of the engine and install rigid collars. Just for fun, go check out the video of when I first got this car (linked below) and compare it to what it is now. I’m quite proud of the transformation of this iconic car.

I remember the time Eric the car guy had to break in to his own shop to get his tools out because I believe he was getting kicked out of his building. And all the times he had to jump a step in the floor when had to do engine swaps. Seeing him today brings back so many memories of working on my Honda 😅

Breaks my heart to see the mighty ETCG crawling around on the floor like the rest of us. Hope you can find a new shop some day sir! Thanks for posting stuff like this again we missed ya.

at least it isn't icy and covered in ice and deer poop.I guess... But yes, it is a tragedy he had so much nonsense happen with moving shops. Hopefully, he is at least having a pleasant break.

It's really good to see you back again working on Hondas. I remember ETCG before he got his Bendpack lift and had to crawl around on the garage floor like the rest of us home DIYers. I love how you take the car down to the minimum, take care of all of the rust, put on a protective coating and then start to rebuild with new or restored components. I dream about doing that to my vehicle, but for now it's only a dream! Your Integra Type R should serve you well for many years of pleasant driving. Stay dirty!

I literally just got done rerunning the rear brake lines on my Integra too! Not quite as pretty as yours but they're holding fast and the brakes feel great. It's nice to see you did two "soft 90s" rather than a U bend too. Originally I wanted the bend a little tighter but I don't think the tubing will put up with it. I also found out that a little grease and dirt can sneak into your flaring tool and really make your day hellish 😵‍💫

....And if everything goes according to plan.... famous last words of all us mechanics lol, been there! Well, EC you make it look easy Brother, always great to see you in your Element....(Oh now I think of an Element Joke) You threw that entire assembly together like a kid on the floor with Legos!
And it's nice to see camera man Brian back, looks like his work.
You have NO idea, how happy I am, To see you work again EC!!! I see a transformation after the break. That's where the saying comes from, what does not kill you, makes you stronger, or the one I like, Sometimes you have to experience a little death to know how to live!

Wish I was good at fixing things like Eric, but I guess that's why I will just keep hold of my 2004 Sequoia. It's ultra reliable, so you don't have to worry about anything other than basic maintenance. Gas mileage is poor, but I hardly go anywhere.
