Ta Gido. Another awesome vid. Wherever you are, it's bleeding glorious. Just by way of a merch idea... Seeing as you are so rough on your socks, why don't you come up with a rock sock. Essentially a treated waterproof woolen sock encased in a rubber bootie with some knobblies on the bottom for extra grip. You can add some GLBA beanies for good measure. 2am in South Africa... Can't sleep, so I'm really glad you popped up. Seriously jealous...

Dude, if you leave the first fillet barely intact and don't remove it, when you flip the fish to do the other side with the first one still on, you'll find it's way easier.

If it took me three hours to get to a fishing location by hiking, crawling, fighting and falling I would have to stay there for a minimum of a week! After getting hung up and broke off on the jigs I thought WTH is he thinking going to a bottom fishing bait rig!😳 well that worked out like I never thought it would! It looked to me that the line to your lead was the same diameter as your bait and main line. Whenever I fish bait in an area where I can get hung up I always use a lighter break away piece of line to the lead. That way if the lead gets hung up it will break off and I don’t lose the whole rig.
Also on your old tent, there are marine fabric products that work great for waterproofing fabric. 303 Fabric Guard works very well. Water will roll right off of the tent fabric like marbles.
The line to the lead was a bit lighter. I do often loose rigs when fishing bait too but I’d had enjoyed of loosing lures so figured I should at least try. The tent has a few other problems it’s over 10yrs old so I’m ready for a change

At 0:15 Gido, I don’t know why he didn’t take the backpack off. You know, I know, I’m sure that he knows that wearing a backpack throws your walking / hiking and,, and sliding down on one’s ass, throws you off lol 😝 lol. I bet if he had of taken it off, He would not have fallen. He came so very very close!! To going on over, and going much further down the slope!!
From the looks of him in the video, of him shaking I think you can say it dawned on him that he came very close to going down the side / slide / the cliff much further. By far. If not almost to the water. Or down into, the water. Needless to say, that was such a very very close call, and it could’ve been much worse. Soooooo much worse.
