Im a beginner and I appreciate all the talking and explaining..it goes a long way for someone learning and planning to invest a lot of money into a new bike. Thanks for this
I traded my Harley Road Glide this January for a DCT and I love it. Just FYI the bike learns how you ride so as you ride it will slightly adjust shifts. Then remember, it's an automatic. So stop thinking about it. Twist the throttle and ride and enjoy. You don't think about how your automatic car upshifts and downshifts so same goes here. The first thing almost everyone says is "I wouldn't shift that way on my bike" and of course she said it. It's a DCT/Automatic so it doesn't care how you ride yet. If you just want all the power, put it in sport mode and it will hold that gear much longer. I ride in Standard most of the time and if I need to speed up, I twist the throttle. And other time when I don't care about MPG I'll put it in sport mode but not too often. I love riding the 1100DCT. Definitely recommend
This is kind of an important channel being from a woman’s viewpoint. You’re gonna be huge! I’m a Sound Engineer so…. some minor advice: move your in-helmet mic a touch if possible so your “P” and “S” sounds don’t overwhelm it- the regular one rocks. Volume level is excellent. Also, when you jump on the bike, if you can give the inseam of your pant length and your overall height so others, like my wife, will have a bit of an idea how she will fit on it. Otherwise, love your energy and how you recovered from the tech failure lol. Keep goin’ and hope this year is one of exponential growth for your channel. Subscription earned! Cheers from Vancouver Island, Canada!
Very interesting review, nice explanation on the transmission operation. Also, I like how you talk like a normal person, like we’re hanging out talking about bikes. Other folks review like we’re in class or they’re making a commercial.
Good morning, thanks for your kind words and checking out our content. I am big fan of motorcycles and I just want to share my passion with others who also enjoy them!
The ECU on the bike has an adaptive learning curve in it. So the way it shifts now will slowly change to fit the driver as the miles go by. I absolutely love my Rebel 1100 DCT. Oh, people complain about the seat in the reveal videos. After about 2k miles, its no longer an issue. Honda made it a bit stiff so itll break in better.
Great question, its not one of the name brand ones that I recognize, but I found the exact one on ebay at the following listing: www.google.com/search?q=dual+exhaust+rebel+1100&sca_esv=9c26c6ed14122257&sca_upv=1&biw=1300&bih=647&tbm=shop&sxsrf=ACQVn09YNBMAMntmCIr57kv81MRY0erpsg%3A1712781216907&ei=oPcWZpLNNo63wN4P9M214Ao&ved=0ahUKEwiSnYugv7iFAxWOG9AFHfRmDawQ4dUDCAg&uact=5&oq=dual+exhaust+rebel+1100&gs_lp=Egtwcm9kdWN0cy1jYyIXZHVhbCBleGhhdXN0IHJlYmVsIDExMDBI0jJQ-AVY-jBwBXgAkAEAmAFyoAGQEaoBBDI1LjK4AQPIAQD4AQGYAhigApYNwgIEECMYJ8ICChAAGIAEGIoFGEPCAgUQABiABMICBxAAGIAEGArCAgYQABgWGB6YAwCIBgGSBwQyMS4zoAe3XA&sclient=products-cc#spd=16128346344876446472
Would this be good for a first bike? Ive road scooters in the past and love bicycles of all sort. I have and good idea in how to ride on 2 wheels my first motorbike was a 50cc scooter so i got to learn the dangers of wide turns, not leaning right and sudden stops going over 30mph. Im looking for my first motorcycle
Only you can decide for yourself how much motorcycle you can handle for your first bike, and while this is a bit larger than I would *typically* recommend, I think its a very good choice, since it has the drive modes (ability to reduce the power, and increase the traction control) combined with a low seat height and a relatively manageable weight. If you like the style you may also want to check out the Rebel's 300cc and 500cc variants.
Its usually 50/50 yak/ride ratio, but my camera malfunctioned halfway through this video so I ended up with 75/25. Apologies, I'll do better next time.
Hey Tony, some of us appreciate some yak because it better explains things when the person talking is focused on it and can show it. Thanks for your opinions, but you definitely have no need to comment so bluntly and insultingly. You can simply not watch the video and move on, but some of us like all sorts of different content intake. Let her create her own content, and you can make your own if you think people "yak" too much.

Especially when the hands get slightly arthritic.

I learned something today, that is pretty cool! Thanks for watching and commenting!
Do you feel the tank is a bit on the small side.
@@johnmartin7158 I believe it could've been made to hold a bit more. Maybe a gallon at the most
Any idea what exhaust they put on it? It does sound really nice

By feathering the rear brake at slow speed it is like the friction zone of the clutch. Just a FYI.
What is that exhaust?
great video. I just relax ride and enjoy!
Thanks for watching and commenting!
I am a small boy almost 5'2 in height. Slim and petite. 101 lbs of weight. Is that motorcycle fine for me to ride?
I think so because the seat height is only about 27 inches high.
Your voice sounds like this other woman on UA-cam who goes by Liberty Doll great video though.
Quite different from the Yamaha V Max.
Lol, no kidding!
Content seems great - can't handle the vid, too much camera tilt and shake.
Thats probably my fault, I tend to talk with my head and hands more than I should...
Hi Sarah, to much yak, not enough riding. Thanks for sharing though take care.
