A few things I figured out while trying out the game 1. You can shift lock, for me it was left control so idk why it didn’t work for you 2. The momentum thing didn’t happen as much when you are shiftlock 3. Idk what to say about the nape hitbox cuz from the discord they show pretty generous hitbox. Though from playing I can agree that the arm hitboxes get in the way of the nape hitboxes 4. This is a demo so many things are unfinished such as raids and titan shifting. 5. POT is potential and it is the lowest level you have all of your upgrades on such as odm gas, blade durability, etc (though they need to make this more obvious i was also confused before i looked into it.) 6.AOTE was discontinued I think? If I’m wrong please tell me. If I missed anything tell me but the game is still in dev so I think we should cut it a little slack but obviously they need to fix their problems
yeah, the game has problems, but hes talking about all the problems it has like its.. a full, released game. its a demo. i feel like he just... doesn't know that, with some of his points, especially about a lack of content.
yeah I realize that theres no point in playing it a bunch I said I tried it out, I didnt say ive been playing for 5+ hours a day on an incomplete game with one gamemmode. what im trying to say is that it has some potential, but we are reviewing it like its a full fledged game already when its just a test and it might be closing again soon.
@@scelebob4329 Titan shifting is basically the other half to an aot game. Without it the game gets stale way quicker. The movement in aot games is fun but sometimes you just wanna turn into a giant naked man and punch shit
the issue with every modern attack on titan game on roblox is that none of them have movement that feels as good as titan warefare's movement system, that's just such an essential part of any AOT game that titan warefare was somehow able to pull off better then any official or unofficial attack on titan game on the market. the only competetion i can possibly think of is "feng lee's AOT tribute game" but that's a bit a relic at this point
Idk why, but i feel SO ATTACKED BY THIS video, like he said that odm control is NOT good, the HITBOXES ARE LITTLE, like, this guy knows what is he saying at this point? The physics are realistic, the hitboxes are BIGGER than other games, and in my opinion, this game will be and will remain the best aot game + This is JUST A DEMO, A DEMO!
Untitled is infinitely better in every way. I played the hell out of, and basically mastered, both untitled and evolution, but this game just feels janky as hell. I might try it out in the future when actual work has been put in it, because right now it's just a graphical showcase and nothing more.
@@Hell-ThePerfectionist This is where i disagree with you, i, myself played untitled, and i can say that the momentum is a bit janky. Either way, both games are good, feel free to play whatever you like. In AOT:R you have that crazy momentum that makes it so satisfying to slay titans. Just give it a try, amd make dure to wach a vid of someone explaining the movement because, oh boy, it took me 20 minutes to kill a titan on mobile, but after that i got used to it and im breezing though.
@petruthegamer9777 I can't be the only one struggling with the poor movement of this game. It's too fluid, it feels like you're flying a plane in water on ice skates for lack of a better explanation. Of course there are going to be pros that master the movement, and of course upgrades would help make the game generally easier, but I shouldn't have to force myself to adapt to poor movement and poor hitboxes. I see people in the comments saying the nape hitbox is larger than usual, but like in this video and the follow up video this guy made, you can see him get up close to the nape and it do absolutely nothing. The very moment they fix that hitbox, maybe I'll come back to the game and try to adapt to this ice skate swimming in air movement
@@enverfn you’ve obviously never played this game at all or even tried it. The auto direction system that places the < > arrows automatically is the most fluid thing out of any AOT game. Please do some research by playing the game instead of just listening like a zombie to whatever your favourite UA-camr says.
@@jib381 console player here, i played it recently and i gotta disagree, the auto grapple most of the time fucks me up rather than helping and it just doesnt feel good, i had alot more fun with Titan Warfare's ODM than with the ODM in this game. Though i dont know if the auto grapple is only fucky with xbox controls or if its the same on mouse & keyboard
3:55 come on eclipse its literally there, the shift lock. Alright eclipse I get it man, the game is supposed to make you feel good, but if you really see the actual hit-box on the titans nape, it sounds like a skill issue. If anything this all sums up to personal preference, all i’m saying is Attack on titan revolution is a great game although u might not enjoy it.
You can actually see the shift lock options in the settings and i even saw it while watching the video during the segment about it, and its just called "Lock" instead of shift lock and its normally binded to control, this might be a bit helpful to you.
ima say a few things i did think while playing this game 1 : the odm gear is fine (atleast for me) 2 : nape hitboxes are not bad 3 : the only problem i've had is the content
Evo is actually the owner of both games, he made AOTE then sold it to Boss studios which owns AFS and AOPG and this is his second AOT game, yes its similar but who can blame him, he's racking a couple mil robux each day off the game.
This game still a demo version all the contents are still being lock until the game is fully release. For the ODM gear imo they are pretty unique there is swerve which allow u to cancel the momentum and trust me u can do alot of things with that like u can swing behide a titan nape and mega boost forward to their nape to cancel the momentum change the direction of ur movement make a kill (this feel very smooth specially with shiftlock aka left ctrl). I think they intentionally make the ODM physic more realistic which is very bad for some people bc it is very hard to change direction while u are hooking on something and make it hard to get around titan nape like ur average roblox AOT game but the swerve system make up for it by making the skill ceiling higher bring a new approach to ODM gear on roblox. The ODM gear genuinely feel very satisfying (probably the most satisfying for me) when u get the movement down combine with the boost/swerve system like I never had that much fun flying around and killing titan but also triggered at the same time. Some of my complain are almost the same as eclipse, to make the ODM gear feel bad ass and good it take a shit ton of upgrade like approximating 10 hour of grind or more. Also how tf people gonna figure out the way to use the ODM gear intended to be to make it satisfying to play, it took me 4 fucking day to get a grasp on how to kill titan with this physic properly, ur players already left the fucking game before they even know how to play the game correctly. It is very triggering when u have a hard time to kill a single titan just bc no one taught u how to kill it properly they dead ass throw u in a game without a turtorial, that is a very bad showcase of game and the purpose of the demo IS TO SHOWCASE UR FUCKING GAME. My next complain is hitboxes, the hurtboxes itself arent terrible they are some generous hurtboxes but why the blade hitbox isnt a lingering hitbox like almost 90% of the time u aiming for the nape it gonna hit the arm instead and stop ur hitbox from hiting the nape that shit is so triggering, specially on the situation when alot of titan group up in 1 place U CAN ONLY HIT 1 TITAN 1 TIMES AND 99% OF THE TIME IT NOT EVEN THEIR FUCKING NAPE, ITS DEAD ASS IMPOSSIBLE TO KILL THEM WHILE THEY ARE GROUP UP. The family thing kinda mix opinion. If they are generous with their currency when the game release ye I guess it is decent. If not it is unhealthy for the game, but they have to make money some how so I cant judge them. Inconclusion, add a turtorial, remove the ODM gear upgrade system, make the grind less repetitive and fix the hitbox by making it still lingering after a hit so the arms arent getting in the way of the nape and u got urself a decent demo. (sr if there is any typo im not a native english speaker and I failed my english class so my grammar not gonna be that good.)
Your so fucking right man, even tho I'm a aot game no life, and i played every single decent aot game on Roblox and this shit took me 3 playthrough's to figure out how to use the odm gear and which skill line is better to upgrade than others. But now i fully understand the game's controls and stuff, but after getting 1,5k kills a new problem popped up: killing titans got way too fucking easy in any game mode. Basically boring. After fixing the main problems they should make the difficulty of the titans harder in hard mode. There's no fun if i cant struggle.
Started playing this game just today. music helps make the repetition easier on my mind, and the movement feels pretty good, along with the titan combat, but there's obviously stuff that's still yet to be added. (but tbh, i really do hate the boost momentum shift, also normal mode? It's not normal. You gotta cut the titans eyes like 3 times to actually blind them, not to mention the perks don't even work lol)
Ok so the difficulty on the lvls is based of your equipment and how much you level them up starting off when I first got normal I was nearly doing 200 dmg but now after upgrading my equipment I do 700-900 dmg which is way better and makes it easier
A lot of the criticism In this video is half assed like the game play he mentioned about it being repetitive... It's testing phase other modes/bosses isn't in the game yet... Also you can shift lock 😂 Lord do some research before you criticize
so AOT:R is made by (correct me if im wrong) the same original devs of AOT:E before boss studios came around bought the rights to the game and turned it into an abandoned game. AOT:R is still in quite heavy development with the skill tree and the skills themselves currently being worked on. as is there are the 3 difficulties which i believe they said they are gonna add more but not at the moment given how this is a demo phase. that POT is potential as some people mentioned, the reason why you cant go to higher difficulties is because your odm gear isnt at a high enough level....and let me tell you that its almost impossible to do normal mode with pot 2 base equipment due to how much more hp the titans nape has. i have my odm damage to 5 and i still have times where i dont 1 shot titans on normal mode. anyways perks....yeah i dont really look at them too much, im not exactly sure how that fully works yet. now the biggest red flag for me is...family bloodlines. right now i have 2 epic familys with both giving a 10% boost in some regards (only 1 equipable at a time duh) and then extra shifter stats...which im sure will be fun when they never get added. what worries me is that its .45% to get an epic, and theres a pity for that atleast...but legendaries dont have a pity and they are a nice ol 0.05% with no pity. im not even sure what the buffs are but whatever. in short, the game was made by the original devs of AOT evolution before boss studios bought the game and then didnt update it so they decided to make AOT:R with the intents of better graphics, movement, and gameplay which is questionable right now but the game is a HEAVY work in progress as what you saw was the demo
Aot Evolution was a game EvolutionPower originally made. He sold it to Boss Studios but Boss scammed Evo and never paid the full price he was meant to get. I believe Evo was going to work with Boss on the game after selling it to him but Boss never paid anything near the full amount. Which is why Aot Revolution was made, I have a video covering this. Also apparently the owner of Aot:R is supposed to be EK.

The problem is a lot of his criticisms are very barebone first impressions on the game and any1 who tries the game for less than 20 minutes will likely get the same impression. I know I had nearly all the same impressions as him when I first tried the game. I have a lot of respect for Eclipse and understand his point of view, but I disagree with a lot of his points.
@@petruthegamer9777 how do you feel attacked of all things? ill be fair and say this, the movement and hitboxes arnt fun. they really arnt. i had to spend my first few minutes leaving my first match to turn off the assists cause it actively made titan combat worse to play. ive grinded a decent point in this game, round lv 30 and i can say that the movement isnt all that, killing titans in just about any fashion. be it blinds, orbits, or leg slashes they the odm gear feels bad when fighting...great when moving around though. a huge problem i have is landing on the ground, several times id boost backwards to gain distance only to have my character SLIDE forward to the titan when i land which nearly gets me killed. all i can say is that the movement and stuff feels rough and unfun at times but its to be expected from a demo so ill give it that atleast
So basically the guy who made Attak on titan evolution sold the game to Boss studios, and this studio just fired them, because game was becoming more expensive to make than it's profit, so the original creator of evolution decided to make his own game wich is Attak on titan Revolution
The hit boxes are actually really generous the nape hit box protrudes out, meaning you would need to use the range on your sword, like in the anime, to kill the titans. Going directly towards a titian would only make the titan a bigger threat to you especially in higher tiers of the game, since you will be grabbed way easier.
@@thecomet653read bro read. As their arm moves. It’ll obstruct the nape hit box even more than it already does. This makes it harder to hit the nape as you get closer. It’s recommended to hit a little outside the nape due to the generous hit boxes. When you’re closer to the nape, you’re more likely to hit the arm

pot stands for potential which levels up as you upgrade in the skill tree you need to even put your your skills because they don’t want someone with only strength nuking the server and the shift lock is automatic for me when i play
YOU should try Attack on titan freedom war.. It has a lot of content (shiftlock too) where there is a campaign and you have actual objectives and titan shifters..
Eclipse another Roblox AoT game I would recommend is AoT Freedom War, though it's permanent death based, but has one of greatest Campaigns in my opinion, give it a try if you're even interested, I found it underrated in terms of player count!
its a good game but i think the reason it hasnt popped off in player count is because its not really welcoming to new players anymore. every server is plagued by mega sweats that have played every day since release that hog the warrior slots and just insta wipe all newer players in human pvp
I can only imagine the review if they didn't lock normal and hard mode behind higher levels, me and my friend unlocked normal mode and went to play it and the titans are basically invincible, we would hit the titans napes multiple times and they still wouldn't die, even though we meet the minimum equipment requirement to play normal mode, we still are way to weak to even damage the titans. Maybe all the servers we went into were just glitched or something, but those titans had so much health that it just wasn't fun.

AoT:E is a dead game. Like really. The lead developer posted in the discord that the game was dead, that nothing was being worked on, and the owner of the game kicked them out of the discord server. That was a couple months ago and I left the server after that. So maybe old players who hated how Boss was handling the game moved over to Revolution bc it seems to be made by the original creator of Evolution. That’s just speculation of course, but it’s the only one that makes sense to me

Hey Eclipse. i recommend playing Attack on Titan : Freedom War. In my opinion, its a very fun game! I dont think you have played it yet and i think you would like it.

i genuinly cant take this guy seriously some times. He complains about the odmg while not using it to its fullest potential, talks about the hitboxes being bad while trying to attack a titans nape while standing on its head. There have been several times i have killed a titan and just felt like, nah that shouldnt have hit. And this game is a demo, of course some things arent gonna be complete. At around eight and a half minutes in he talks about how if you change your camera angle while boosting, you change direction. The boost isnt one quick and simple jump like with the back dodge, its a still short but longer sorta flying mechanic. Of course you're gonna change direction. Soon after he start talking about the hitboxes again. He kills the two first quite easily, but then complains when he cant kill a titan without enough momentum. He's playing on easy mode, of course the titans arent gonna be hard to kill and arent gonna do alot of damage. Though to be fair he didnt have much of a choice in which difficulty to play. But you wanna know what is the best way to simply fix these issues yourself? Get better at the game and try being creative with how you kill titans. This guy is calling a game bad, why? Because he isnt good at it.
The main reason I play revolution is because it actually has updates and a plan for the future vs when I played evolution and titan warfare there was 0 updates or communication tbh
Well the game is generous and let's you familiarize with the gear, now try to reach potential 2 (basically upgrade your gear) and start the normal mission, you will see, that the titans will kill you in 3 hits, so stop saying that the game is too easy.
The reason why the difficulties are locked is because the titans scale in hp super fast. In easy mode titans have 60 hp whereas normal mode titans have 500 hp (correct me if I am wrong). The hp increases almost 10x.

Man do some research, Evo is was the owner of AOT:E, then he sold the game to Boss Studios (Boss scammed Evo by not paying near the full price), so basically, he is the creator of both games. He didn't copy anything, he built another game from ground up having the skills from the previous game.
Roblox has had a bug (for years) that turns off your ability to shift lock automatically, it’s fixable in the Roblox escape menu settings near the top… super annoying.
You definitely have a few points on stuff they can improve about the game. But I hope you will give it a chance, this game has one of the best odm systems I've ever seen, once you get used to it. I've played Aottg, Titan Warfare, and just about every Roblox Aot game. This system has a very high skill curve and despite me being a god at Titan Warfare, I was terrible at this game when I first started. The odm system is just very unique and takes getting used to. I hope you will give the game a chance because when I did I fell in love with it.

I bet you’ve been recommended AOT: Freedom War a lot but I’m gonna say go for it. Freedom War is a pretty decent game with aspects that make it unique compared to your typical queue a mission and kill 100 waves of titans. Freedom War follows the events of seasons 1-3 and contains both PvE (Titan killing), and PVP (Gear vs Gear / Shifter vs Shifter / Gear vs Shifter) not only that but the skills you get are very useful and the upgrades are definitely worth getting. Normally a player would start off in the scouting legion although there is another faction which you’d know to be Marley. As a Marleyan you’re essentially meant to blend in with the scouts while completing your objectives which include sabotaging the scouts and retrieving attack titan. Shifters are also encouraged to play stealthy as they get mastery per stage completed, this mastery allows them access to new skills and longer titan mode. Also you don’t have to feel useless against a shifter as a normal player since gear is definitely viable against a shifter and you’re also provided equipment to handle shifters such as a spiked net to stun them or cannons to fire at them and deal great damage. The only aspect I think you wouldn’t like is the permanent death aspect, you’ve got one life and so you need to play your cards right or else you’ll lose everything. Aside from that I think you might enjoy the game, I hope to see a review on it soon, have a wonderful day.
@@soupseer To summarise. It has PVE and PVP, It has upgrades that are good, It has a marley faction where you're basically an impostor, shifters should be stealthy to get stronger shift, gear is good against shifters too and the downside is permadeath.
I think one of the better aot games out there is AoT freedom war. It has upgrades but you don't get the upgrades for completing missions, you get skills and upgrades for killing titans and the skills and upgrades help you kill more titans. The great thing about it too is it's team centered too so someone can bail you out if you get grabbed. Edit: it's a permadeath game. If you die you lose all your skills and progress and have to start from square one again. If you play too recklessly you will get killed by a shifter or a mindless titan.
@@yurih2326 the problem with titan warfare is that it doesn't get updates and the devs have moved on where as freedom war recently got a new story arc added.
AOT:R is the same as most aot games in it’s demo you can talk all you want but this game is in a demo still so expect a lot more in the future and I don’t think none of y’all can more a game decently good.

Here's a bit of exposition on how AOT:R (Attack on Titan: Revolution) was created and why it has a lot of similarities to AOT:E (Attack on Titan: Evolution). I'm going off by memory, so not all of the things on this comment are going to be 100% accurate. We start off in early to mid 2022. AOT:E was out for a couple of months and was averaging about 5-10k players daily. New content and bug fixes were coming out weekly and the game was doing pretty good. Suddenly the updates stopped coming for a couple of weeks. We got radio silence in the discord server, no higher-up announced anything about there being delays or anything of that like. While everyone was under the assumption that they were too busy on making a new update, the community didn't get an answer until only a few weeks later. From what I can recall, one of the owners of the game made announcement in the discord server, he stated that the other owners spent most of the game's earning on robux gambling websites, thus leaving the game with 0 funds left to pay any of the developers that they hired. I don't remember if those developers ever got paid or not but that's besides the point. In this same post, the owner announced that the game was bought out by Boss Studios, infamous for making the absolute dumpster fire that is A 0ne Piece Game. Long story short, Boss (the owner of Boss Studios) claimed in a discord stage voice call that the game would be taken good care of, and that updates would be releasing again in a few days. This of course didn't happen and the only major content update the game had, was the Hybrid gear that was already basically completed by the previous dev team. The hybrid gear was extremely buggy on release and was not tested at all. In the meantime the community migrated discord servers 2 times, the AOT:E support discord server turned into anarchy once the dev teams changed, whoever stayed in that server (me included) saw the most vile, abysmal and outright disgusting stuff the platform has seen. We are talking about racial slurs to nazism to other forms of abuse that I can't even say in this comment. TL;DR is: the game was a complete shit-show. Jump forward to 2023, a former developer of AOT:E Ek or EvolutionPower or ergi999 started a new project that goes by the name of AOT:R. I don't exactly know what his position was in AOT:E back when it was getting actively developed, but from what I can understand he basically had, or has access to some if not all of the AOT:E assets, thus explaining how the games play very similarly and have a lot of the same concepts such as the same font, similar ODM upgrades, perk and skill tree systems etc. Lastly, to anyone that hasn't played the game yet. The current version that Eclipse played on, is a demo of the final product. The game still has a ton of stuff missing such as the skills being unusable, missing difficulties for higher POT (Potential) levels, missing gears besides ODM and the list goes on. There's still some work to be done especially with the hitboxes and hit registration , but I would highly recommend to anyone reading this to join the discord server and keep up with the game, as the full game will release in the upcoming weeks.

The movement is amazing and actually more fluid than Aot:E easily, the hitboxes are generous, they are literally outside on the titans neck, u need to use the length of ur blade to hit them like in Aot and the original Aot game. Going to close will be more risky. Anyone who learns the actual game or joins the discord and looks at the released pictures of hitboxes will see that these points are blatant first impressions and cope because of skill issue,

This game is still in beta and its official release will be coming out this year or this coming year and then we will get everything that an aot roblox game should have and if you look up the titan hitboxes are amazingly huge compared to other games and if you press lctrl then you will shift lock and this game is also based off of speed and accuracy so since you like using shiftlock you will like the game and also if you wanted to do hard at the very start you will die imidiately and also POT is potential so when you get to normal you get the damage and speed necessary to kill those titans in that level and also the abilitys arent even out yet and i think personally the family system is amazing compared to evolution and again the hitboxes are huge maybe you arent good at the game and maybe you need shiftlock but revolution is definetly better than evolution and the reason this game isnt as good as its going to be yet is because the game isnt fully out yet and also if you get a certain family you get and the creator of aot evolution sold the game to another person and then the original owner of evolution is making revolution to keep his game on going and the odm gear in revolution is the best odm gear in roblox and your only points in this video is the odm gear and the blades when it comes out then you will change your mind but evolution will definetly be worse then evolution so when you get more complex answers for your viewers tell me bc this was a waste of time

Pot stands for "Potential", I understand where the confusion is coming from on this one, but it becomes obvious if you just look at the equipment menu, or just by joining the discord and asking. 2. If you've played Roblox before you'd know that some games use Left Ctrl as a shift lock button. Even in the key binds menu you did not think that "Lock" could mean shift lock. 3. If you'd have figured out shift lock maybe the momentum wouldn't have been such a problem. 4. The hitboxes are extremely huge, and in unlike some games you actually need to cut the back of the neck(what the fuck aot:e, legit can just kill titans from the front, may that game rest in piss) 5. The game is a demo, and I've seen your rebuttal of people's comments about that by saying that it has microtransactions. The game is still in demo, There is shiftlock in the game its jst Control and on realease they will have pvp not jst pve there will be titan shifting so you playing this game is still in demo so you have no take judging it like this not even being a game that is yet to be realeased and the fact that its in demo and still having more players then most aot games jst signs you have special this game will be to the roblox aot community in the future.
I think the reason this game is like this now is because there’s a new owner, the guy who made A One Piece Game. If you don’t know what it is, look up any video about aopg and you’ll understand.
Tbh I feel like there’s just not a lot you can do with Aot games when you think about it, like titan warfare and titan evolution were both good but there is not a lot more after getting max level or getting all the skins and all that stuff there just feels like nothing else after like even if the game was the greatest aot game of all time it would still die within give or take 5 weeks

Try out aot freedom war the game is where you do missions and if you fail it benefits the warriors but if you finish the mission benefits soldiers and each move you make can effect everything and theres 5 shifters attack titan, armor titan, female titan, colossal titan. 3 warriors gotta make sure soldiers fail and not be revealed as enemies as they must also capture the attack titan and break the walls Attack titan seals wall and stops the warriors Jaw has a decision of sides to be on 13stages i think (maybe more idk)
AOTE owners got caught gambling in some unofficial site so roblox banned them from revenue, this wasnt told to anyone and the owners sold the game to boss studios, (boss studios probably went first and asked since they are cash grab scums who buy good games then convert it into an unplayable cashgrabs) and after they bought it the news was revealed and funny enough boss studios a fewdays before they knew about revenue posted “get used to boss studio speed” and posted like 6sneaks on new things like titan shifting and titan models but after they knew they cant make anything they just let the game die and in order to stop questions to arise they made a lot of changes to the movement and playing system and added a huge amount of limitations to make people quit thus leading to the end of aote, the same aote devs developed aotr took them a year i think but finally good to see them back hopefully they wont go back to gambling again 😭
If you want to dry a GENIUNLEY good aot game, play freedom war. Despite being (basically) discontinued, there's still a relatively full campaign and it's pretty challenging. My main complain is that the game is NOT very new player friendly.
It’s full of bugs and dumb things you can’t expect much from a demo it’s in the description that’s it’s a demo ofc there’s gonna be bugs and dumb shit I’m lvl 31 on this and I have plenty to complain about but I also have good opinions, for example once you figure out how to shift lock it’s fun and easy the currency system is genuinely fun and interesting but the bad things which everyone tends to point out I’ve bought all types of crates for a vid I could only open one variant can’t open the rest and the next is you can’t use your skills from what I know but you can’t expect a award winning game from a demo we will just have to wait and see how this will get better for its player base the only relatable thing this dude said was the hit box that’s what they need to fix plus the use of skills.

If a demo has ways of coughing up money on it, you can usually expect people to leave criticisms on said game anyways. A demo would obviously imply it's a WIP. Usually, WIPs don't squeeze cash from their playerbase.
the game, despite being a "demonstration" of the final product, is being advertised and treated by its own developers as a full game. codes and like goals are plastered on the game page, passes are already official (which is alright) , but with prices like THAT? not so sure anymore. the video, simply makes of the game by what it is right now, and how it's being handled rather than how it wants to be seen as. if you're going to make a demo, you should at the VERY LEAST, NOT, and I repeat, NOT make it a modern Roblox classic tragedy of making kids want to play the """game""", entice them to pay you money for playing it like a back-alley drug dealer, and make profit off of a rotten pile of canned fish eggs advertised as caviar. it should be what a demo SHOULD be, a proper demonstration of an idea, fleshed out enough to share and get support for the idea to develop it further, to the point where it can stand on its own. THEN you can plaster all of the microtransactions and bullshit advertisements. though I do think Eclipse had major skill issue where he couldn't shiftlock and his ignorance on this being a demo (even though I didn't realize at first as well), some of his points are still valid. the game treats EVERYONE that just started playing as infants that can't even aim grapples properly. the gameplay itself (being the main critique in the video) feels unoriginal, sluggish, awkward, and of course, extremely tedious especially for people that has played other AoT games. I stand strong as someone who is willing to look for good games on this platform, and this COULD'VE been good, and might just be good in the future, but for now, it's uninspired, has no identity, and does not deserve your time, nor your money (for the most part).
They give out codes almost every day so idk what are you saying about micro transactions, like those are available only for cosmetics, it doesn't help you to advance.
A few things I figured out while trying out the game
1. You can shift lock, for me it was left control so idk why it didn’t work for you
2. The momentum thing didn’t happen as much when you are shiftlock
3. Idk what to say about the nape hitbox cuz from the discord they show pretty generous hitbox. Though from playing I can agree that the arm hitboxes get in the way of the nape hitboxes
4. This is a demo so many things are unfinished such as raids and titan shifting.
5. POT is potential and it is the lowest level you have all of your upgrades on such as odm gas, blade durability, etc (though they need to make this more obvious i was also confused before i looked into it.)
6.AOTE was discontinued I think? If I’m wrong please tell me.
If I missed anything tell me but the game is still in dev so I think we should cut it a little slack but obviously they need to fix their problems

the issue with every modern attack on titan game on roblox is that none of them have movement that feels as good as titan warefare's movement system, that's just such an essential part of any AOT game that titan warefare was somehow able to pull off better then any official or unofficial attack on titan game on the market. the only competetion i can possibly think of is "feng lee's AOT tribute game" but that's a bit a relic at this point

Untitled is infinitely better in every way. I played the hell out of, and basically mastered, both untitled and evolution, but this game just feels janky as hell. I might try it out in the future when actual work has been put in it, because right now it's just a graphical showcase and nothing more.

Either way, both games are good, feel free to play whatever you like. In AOT:R you have that crazy momentum that makes it so satisfying to slay titans. Just give it a try, amd make dure to wach a vid of someone explaining the movement because, oh boy, it took me 20 minutes to kill a titan on mobile, but after that i got used to it and im breezing though.
@petruthegamer9777 I can't be the only one struggling with the poor movement of this game. It's too fluid, it feels like you're flying a plane in water on ice skates for lack of a better explanation. Of course there are going to be pros that master the movement, and of course upgrades would help make the game generally easier, but I shouldn't have to force myself to adapt to poor movement and poor hitboxes.
I see people in the comments saying the nape hitbox is larger than usual, but like in this video and the follow up video this guy made, you can see him get up close to the nape and it do absolutely nothing. The very moment they fix that hitbox, maybe I'll come back to the game and try to adapt to this ice skate swimming in air movement

You can actually see the shift lock options in the settings and i even saw it while watching the video during the segment about it, and its just called "Lock" instead of shift lock and its normally binded to control, this might be a bit helpful to you.

This game still a demo version all the contents are still being lock until the game is fully release. For the ODM gear imo they are pretty unique there is swerve which allow u to cancel the momentum and trust me u can do alot of things with that like u can swing behide a titan nape and mega boost forward to their nape to cancel the momentum change the direction of ur movement make a kill (this feel very smooth specially with shiftlock aka left ctrl). I think they intentionally make the ODM physic more realistic which is very bad for some people bc it is very hard to change direction while u are hooking on something and make it hard to get around titan nape like ur average roblox AOT game but the swerve system make up for it by making the skill ceiling higher bring a new approach to ODM gear on roblox. The ODM gear genuinely feel very satisfying (probably the most satisfying for me) when u get the movement down combine with the boost/swerve system like I never had that much fun flying around and killing titan but also triggered at the same time. Some of my complain are almost the same as eclipse, to make the ODM gear feel bad ass and good it take a shit ton of upgrade like approximating 10 hour of grind or more. Also how tf people gonna figure out the way to use the ODM gear intended to be to make it satisfying to play, it took me 4 fucking day to get a grasp on how to kill titan with this physic properly, ur players already left the fucking game before they even know how to play the game correctly. It is very triggering when u have a hard time to kill a single titan just bc no one taught u how to kill it properly they dead ass throw u in a game without a turtorial, that is a very bad showcase of game and the purpose of the demo IS TO SHOWCASE UR FUCKING GAME. My next complain is hitboxes, the hurtboxes itself arent terrible they are some generous hurtboxes but why the blade hitbox isnt a lingering hitbox like almost 90% of the time u aiming for the nape it gonna hit the arm instead and stop ur hitbox from hiting the nape that shit is so triggering, specially on the situation when alot of titan group up in 1 place U CAN ONLY HIT 1 TITAN 1 TIMES AND 99% OF THE TIME IT NOT EVEN THEIR FUCKING NAPE, ITS DEAD ASS IMPOSSIBLE TO KILL THEM WHILE THEY ARE GROUP UP. The family thing kinda mix opinion. If they are generous with their currency when the game release ye I guess it is decent. If not it is unhealthy for the game, but they have to make money some how so I cant judge them. Inconclusion, add a turtorial, remove the ODM gear upgrade system, make the grind less repetitive and fix the hitbox by making it still lingering after a hit so the arms arent getting in the way of the nape and u got urself a decent demo. (sr if there is any typo im not a native english speaker and I failed my english class so my grammar not gonna be that good.)

Your so fucking right man, even tho I'm a aot game no life, and i played every single decent aot game on Roblox and this shit took me 3 playthrough's to figure out how to use the odm gear and which skill line is better to upgrade than others. But now i fully understand the game's controls and stuff, but after getting 1,5k kills a new problem popped up: killing titans got way too fucking easy in any game mode. Basically boring. After fixing the main problems they should make the difficulty of the titans harder in hard mode. There's no fun if i cant struggle.
For me personally, I think AOT:T has the best odm gameplay, but I wish it had the story aspect of Freedom War

Started playing this game just today. music helps make the repetition easier on my mind, and the movement feels pretty good, along with the titan combat, but there's obviously stuff that's still yet to be added. (but tbh, i really do hate the boost momentum shift, also normal mode? It's not normal. You gotta cut the titans eyes like 3 times to actually blind them, not to mention the perks don't even work lol)
Ok so the difficulty on the lvls is based of your equipment and how much you level them up starting off when I first got normal I was nearly doing 200 dmg but now after upgrading my equipment I do 700-900 dmg which is way better and makes it easier
damage is based on speed in this game, The developer already pointed this out.

so AOT:R is made by (correct me if im wrong) the same original devs of AOT:E before boss studios came around bought the rights to the game and turned it into an abandoned game. AOT:R is still in quite heavy development with the skill tree and the skills themselves currently being worked on. as is there are the 3 difficulties which i believe they said they are gonna add more but not at the moment given how this is a demo phase. that POT is potential as some people mentioned, the reason why you cant go to higher difficulties is because your odm gear isnt at a high enough level....and let me tell you that its almost impossible to do normal mode with pot 2 base equipment due to how much more hp the titans nape has. i have my odm damage to 5 and i still have times where i dont 1 shot titans on normal mode. anyways perks....yeah i dont really look at them too much, im not exactly sure how that fully works yet.
now the biggest red flag for me is...family bloodlines. right now i have 2 epic familys with both giving a 10% boost in some regards (only 1 equipable at a time duh) and then extra shifter stats...which im sure will be fun when they never get added. what worries me is that its .45% to get an epic, and theres a pity for that atleast...but legendaries dont have a pity and they are a nice ol 0.05% with no pity. im not even sure what the buffs are but whatever.
in short, the game was made by the original devs of AOT evolution before boss studios bought the game and then didnt update it so they decided to make AOT:R with the intents of better graphics, movement, and gameplay which is questionable right now but the game is a HEAVY work in progress as what you saw was the demo
Aot Evolution was a game EvolutionPower originally made. He sold it to Boss Studios but Boss scammed Evo and never paid the full price he was meant to get.
I believe Evo was going to work with Boss on the game after selling it to him but Boss never paid anything near the full amount.

@@petruthegamer9777 how do you feel attacked of all things? ill be fair and say this, the movement and hitboxes arnt fun. they really arnt. i had to spend my first few minutes leaving my first match to turn off the assists cause it actively made titan combat worse to play. ive grinded a decent point in this game, round lv 30 and i can say that the movement isnt all that, killing titans in just about any fashion. be it blinds, orbits, or leg slashes they the odm gear feels bad when fighting...great when moving around though. a huge problem i have is landing on the ground, several times id boost backwards to gain distance only to have my character SLIDE forward to the titan when i land which nearly gets me killed. all i can say is that the movement and stuff feels rough and unfun at times but its to be expected from a demo so ill give it that atleast
So basically the guy who made Attak on titan evolution sold the game to Boss studios, and this studio just fired them, because game was becoming more expensive to make than it's profit, so the original creator of evolution decided to make his own game wich is Attak on titan Revolution
The hit boxes are actually really generous the nape hit box protrudes out, meaning you would need to use the range on your sword, like in the anime, to kill the titans. Going directly towards a titian would only make the titan a bigger threat to you especially in higher tiers of the game, since you will be grabbed way easier.

It’s recommended to hit a little outside the nape due to the generous hit boxes. When you’re closer to the nape, you’re more likely to hit the arm

Eclipse another Roblox AoT game I would recommend is AoT Freedom War, though it's permanent death based, but has one of greatest Campaigns in my opinion, give it a try if you're even interested, I found it underrated in terms of player count!
And in my opinion it even has better ODM gear and better shifter systems than titan warfare

its a good game but i think the reason it hasnt popped off in player count is because its not really welcoming to new players anymore. every server is plagued by mega sweats that have played every day since release that hog the warrior slots and just insta wipe all newer players in human pvp

I can only imagine the review if they didn't lock normal and hard mode behind higher levels, me and my friend unlocked normal mode and went to play it and the titans are basically invincible, we would hit the titans napes multiple times and they still wouldn't die, even though we meet the minimum equipment requirement to play normal mode, we still are way to weak to even damage the titans. Maybe all the servers we went into were just glitched or something, but those titans had so much health that it just wasn't fun.

The lead developer posted in the discord that the game was dead, that nothing was being worked on, and the owner of the game kicked them out of the discord server.
That was a couple months ago and I left the server after that. So maybe old players who hated how Boss was handling the game moved over to Revolution bc it seems to be made by the original creator of Evolution. That’s just speculation of course, but it’s the only one that makes sense to me

i genuinly cant take this guy seriously some times. He complains about the odmg while not using it to its fullest potential, talks about the hitboxes being bad while trying to attack a titans nape while standing on its head. There have been several times i have killed a titan and just felt like, nah that shouldnt have hit. And this game is a demo, of course some things arent gonna be complete. At around eight and a half minutes in he talks about how if you change your camera angle while boosting, you change direction. The boost isnt one quick and simple jump like with the back dodge, its a still short but longer sorta flying mechanic. Of course you're gonna change direction. Soon after he start talking about the hitboxes again. He kills the two first quite easily, but then complains when he cant kill a titan without enough momentum. He's playing on easy mode, of course the titans arent gonna be hard to kill and arent gonna do alot of damage. Though to be fair he didnt have much of a choice in which difficulty to play. But you wanna know what is the best way to simply fix these issues yourself? Get better at the game and try being creative with how you kill titans. This guy is calling a game bad, why? Because he isnt good at it.

The main reason I play revolution is because it actually has updates and a plan for the future vs when I played evolution and titan warfare there was 0 updates or communication tbh
by the way, if you get grabbed then fail the qte, it doesnt even kill you, it does like 5% of your hp.
Well the game is generous and let's you familiarize with the gear, now try to reach potential 2 (basically upgrade your gear) and start the normal mission, you will see, that the titans will kill you in 3 hits, so stop saying that the game is too easy.

The reason why the difficulties are locked is because the titans scale in hp super fast. In easy mode titans have 60 hp whereas normal mode titans have 500 hp (correct me if I am wrong). The hp increases almost 10x.

I played this game and the ODM gear controls were really weird, i didn't like it that much but the graphics were great.
the graphics are basically that of Freedom Awaits. for the most part, this game just looks like a copy of it.

Roblox has had a bug (for years) that turns off your ability to shift lock automatically, it’s fixable in the Roblox escape menu settings near the top… super annoying.
You definitely have a few points on stuff they can improve about the game. But I hope you will give it a chance, this game has one of the best odm systems I've ever seen, once you get used to it. I've played Aottg, Titan Warfare, and just about every Roblox Aot game.
This system has a very high skill curve and despite me being a god at Titan Warfare, I was terrible at this game when I first started. The odm system is just very unique and takes getting used to. I hope you will give the game a chance because when I did I fell in love with it.

I bet you’ve been recommended AOT: Freedom War a lot but I’m gonna say go for it. Freedom War is a pretty decent game with aspects that make it unique compared to your typical queue a mission and kill 100 waves of titans. Freedom War follows the events of seasons 1-3 and contains both PvE (Titan killing), and PVP (Gear vs Gear / Shifter vs Shifter / Gear vs Shifter) not only that but the skills you get are very useful and the upgrades are definitely worth getting. Normally a player would start off in the scouting legion although there is another faction which you’d know to be Marley. As a Marleyan you’re essentially meant to blend in with the scouts while completing your objectives which include sabotaging the scouts and retrieving attack titan. Shifters are also encouraged to play stealthy as they get mastery per stage completed, this mastery allows them access to new skills and longer titan mode. Also you don’t have to feel useless against a shifter as a normal player since gear is definitely viable against a shifter and you’re also provided equipment to handle shifters such as a spiked net to stun them or cannons to fire at them and deal great damage. The only aspect I think you wouldn’t like is the permanent death aspect, you’ve got one life and so you need to play your cards right or else you’ll lose everything. Aside from that I think you might enjoy the game, I hope to see a review on it soon, have a wonderful day.

I think one of the better aot games out there is AoT freedom war. It has upgrades but you don't get the upgrades for completing missions, you get skills and upgrades for killing titans and the skills and upgrades help you kill more titans. The great thing about it too is it's team centered too so someone can bail you out if you get grabbed.
Edit: it's a permadeath game. If you die you lose all your skills and progress and have to start from square one again. If you play too recklessly you will get killed by a shifter or a mindless titan.

Here's a bit of exposition on how AOT:R (Attack on Titan: Revolution) was created and why it has a lot of similarities to AOT:E (Attack on Titan: Evolution). I'm going off by memory, so not all of the things on this comment are going to be 100% accurate.
We start off in early to mid 2022. AOT:E was out for a couple of months and was averaging about 5-10k players daily. New content and bug fixes were coming out weekly and the game was doing pretty good. Suddenly the updates stopped coming for a couple of weeks. We got radio silence in the discord server, no higher-up announced anything about there being delays or anything of that like. While everyone was under the assumption that they were too busy on making a new update, the community didn't get an answer until only a few weeks later.
From what I can recall, one of the owners of the game made announcement in the discord server, he stated that the other owners spent most of the game's earning on robux gambling websites, thus leaving the game with 0 funds left to pay any of the developers that they hired. I don't remember if those developers ever got paid or not but that's besides the point. In this same post, the owner announced that the game was bought out by Boss Studios, infamous for making the absolute dumpster fire that is A 0ne Piece Game. Long story short, Boss (the owner of Boss Studios) claimed in a discord stage voice call that the game would be taken good care of, and that updates would be releasing again in a few days. This of course didn't happen and the only major content update the game had, was the Hybrid gear that was already basically completed by the previous dev team. The hybrid gear was extremely buggy on release and was not tested at all. In the
meantime the community migrated discord servers 2 times, the AOT:E support discord server turned into anarchy once the dev teams changed, whoever stayed in that server (me included) saw the most vile, abysmal and outright disgusting stuff the platform has seen. We are talking about racial slurs to nazism to other forms of abuse that I can't even say in this comment. TL;DR is: the game was a complete shit-show.
Jump forward to 2023, a former developer of AOT:E Ek or EvolutionPower or ergi999 started a new project that goes by the name of AOT:R. I don't exactly know what his position was in AOT:E back when it was getting actively developed, but from what I can understand he basically had, or has access to some if not all of the AOT:E assets, thus explaining how the games play very similarly and have a lot of the same concepts such as the same font, similar ODM upgrades, perk and skill tree systems etc.
Lastly, to anyone that hasn't played the game yet. The current version that Eclipse played on, is a demo of the final product. The game still has a ton of stuff missing such as the skills being unusable, missing difficulties for higher POT (Potential) levels, missing gears besides ODM and the list goes on. There's still some work to be done especially with the hitboxes and hit registration , but I would highly recommend to anyone reading this to join the discord server and keep up with the game, as the full game will release in the upcoming weeks.
Yeah it kind of bothered me that Eclipse was comparing Revo to Evo because Revo isn't even done yet and Evo is just a mess.

The movement is amazing and actually more fluid than Aot:E easily, the hitboxes are generous, they are literally outside on the titans neck, u need to use the length of ur blade to hit them like in Aot and the original Aot game. This game is still in beta and its official release will be coming out this year or this coming year and then we will get everything that an aot roblox game should have and if you look up the titan hitboxes are amazingly huge compared to other games and if you press lctrl then you will shift lock and this game is also based off of speed and accuracy so since you like using shiftlock you will like the game and also if you wanted to do hard at the very start you will die imidiately and also POT is potential so when you get to normal you get the damage and speed necessary to kill those titans in that level and also the abilitys arent even out yet and i think personally the family system is amazing compared to evolution and again the hitboxes are huge maybe you arent good at the game and maybe you need shiftlock but revolution is definetly better than evolution and the reason this game isnt as good as its going to be yet is because the game isnt fully out yet and also if you get a certain family you get and the creator of aot evolution sold the game to another person and then the original owner of evolution is making revolution to keep his game on going and the odm gear in revolution is the best odm gear in roblox and your only points in this video is the odm gear and the blades when it comes out then you will change your mind but evolution will definetly be worse then evolution so when you get more complex answers for your viewers tell me bc this was a waste of time

1. Pot stands for "Potential", I understand where the confusion is coming from on this one, but it becomes obvious if you just look at the equipment menu, or just by joining the discord and asking.
2. If you've played Roblox before you'd know that some games use Left Ctrl as a shift lock button. Even in the key binds menu you did not think that "Lock" could mean shift lock.
3. If you'd have figured out shift lock maybe the momentum wouldn't have been such a problem.
4. The hitboxes are extremely huge, and in unlike some games you actually need to cut the back of the neck(what the fuck aot:e, legit can just kill titans from the front, may that game rest in piss)
5. The game is a demo, and I've seen your rebuttal of people's comments about that by saying that it has microtransactions. Well sorry to break it to ya buddy, but all the progress we make in the demo is going to be kept on release, so the money that people are spending is not going to waste.

Try out aot freedom war the game is where you do missions and if you fail it benefits the warriors but if you finish the mission benefits soldiers and each move you make can effect everything and theres 5 shifters attack titan, armor titan, female titan, colossal titan.
3 warriors gotta make sure soldiers fail and not be revealed as enemies as they must also capture the attack titan and break the walls

AOTE owners got caught gambling in some unofficial site so roblox banned them from revenue, this wasnt told to anyone and the owners sold the game to boss studios, (boss studios probably went first and asked since they are cash grab scums who buy good games then convert it into an unplayable cashgrabs) and after they bought it the news was revealed and funny enough boss studios a fewdays before they knew about revenue posted “get used to boss studio speed” and posted like 6sneaks on new things like titan shifting and titan models but after they knew they cant make anything they just let the game die and in order to stop questions to arise they made a lot of changes to the movement and playing system and added a huge amount of limitations to make people quit thus leading to the end of aote, the same aote devs developed aotr took them a year i think but finally good to see them back hopefully they wont go back to gambling again 😭

If you want to dry a GENIUNLEY good aot game, play freedom war. Despite being (basically) discontinued, there's still a relatively full campaign and it's pretty challenging. My main complain is that the game is NOT very new player friendly.
It’s full of bugs and dumb things you can’t expect much from a demo it’s in the description that’s it’s a demo ofc there’s gonna be bugs and dumb shit I’m lvl 31 on this and I have plenty to complain about but I also have good opinions, for example once you figure out how to shift lock it’s fun and easy the currency system is genuinely fun and interesting but the bad things which everyone tends to point out I’ve bought all types of crates for a vid I could only open one variant can’t open the rest and the next is you can’t use your skills from what I know but you can’t expect a award winning game from a demo we will just have to wait and see how this will get better for its player base the only relatable thing this dude said was the hit box that’s what they need to fix plus the use of skills.

The game is similar to Evolution because when the game was sold, the new owner of AoT:E (The Boss) did not pay the amount of money that was agreed upon. The Boss exhausted his employees, made false promises and trashed the Evolution community.
If a demo has ways of coughing up money on it, you can usually expect people to leave criticisms on said game anyways.
A demo would obviously imply it's a WIP. Usually, WIPs don't squeeze cash from their playerbase.

though I do think Eclipse had major skill issue where he couldn't shiftlock and his ignorance on this being a demo (even though I didn't realize at first as well), some of his points are still valid. the game treats EVERYONE that just started playing as infants that can't even aim grapples properly. the gameplay itself (being the main critique in the video) feels unoriginal, sluggish, awkward, and of course, extremely tedious especially for people that has played other AoT games.
I stand strong as someone who is willing to look for good games on this platform, and this COULD'VE been good, and might just be good in the future, but for now, it's uninspired, has no identity, and does not deserve your time, nor your money (for the most part).
They give out codes almost every day so idk what are you saying about micro transactions, like those are available only for cosmetics, it doesn't help you to advance.
