Sakura stands does have a parry mechanic
it's just so obscenely weird that it took me a while to understand it
Basically:
you block, your opponent does a move and if you unblock like right after the move is done it parries
Barrage hits included.
LMB included.
It’s parry system is similar to super smash brothers ultimate

If you mess up in Sakura stands, first of all you lose like half your hp because of the other guys combo but then you have to also trackstar so you can get your moves back up and try again

Sakura Stand is almost always in some type of controversy. It's surprising that a singular dev made all of this, but the community fucking sucks. They gave the female stands ages in order for creeps not to be creepy, but the community still draws nsfw of them despite them having ages. The staff are usually hella racist or homophobic, or just go on power trips. Occasionally (so far that I've seen) the in-game community is really chill, probably because they've got literally nothing to do but grind. it's all just random shit from Undertale AUs or something. There's tons of videos about how the staff are racist, tell people to kill themselves, etc. But yeah, that's Sakura Stand. A shit game with Shit pvp, and mostly recolored skins, and a garbage staff team.

The story behind this is that it was an ABD mod, but with like, actual good abilities, fun events, and an ok combat system, it was super fun, but upon rewritting the game, they dropped the ball and just didn't care, like at all, they even wiped out all the data and made the combat terrible

Eclipse I recommended trying out Decaying Winter
It has a pretty decent combat system and super realistic
It’s quite a hard survival game but very fun to play
I also recommend to play with friends as it’s a game that requires a team

The dev had too much fun making this game.
What's funny is that this game was originally an ABDM clone. By ABDM I mean an A Bizarre Day Modded clone, which was basically A Bizarre Day filled with mainly TWOH and SPOH reskins, reskins of other stands/abilities, and maybe a few original abilities with copied assets/moves from an existing spec that they stole already. Basically what AUT was before NU.
These games were the same thing but they had small differences like one having a TWOH reskin that the other one didn't. And if they tried to make a new stand that ABD didn't have, theyd just re-use the animations and moves that one stand already has, change the functions a little bit and call it a day.
An example of this from ABD would be DTW, it was TWOH with a barrage, one shot knives and a teleport but with no timestop. Sonic was just vampire but very fast and could fly, literally no difference in animations.
An exmaple of this form AUT was Purple guy, was just a SPOH reskin, another example was cranberry HG, just a HG reskin.

6:01 that icon is from the ability Acerola, it has a couple moves that inflict a freeze stack, when it fills up all 3 slots, you freeze in place, allowing the user to get a free combo off.

as a roblox dev, making high quality games like YBA can cost hundreds of thousands, if not millions of robux which is equal to around over $1000 usd (not taking into account the other costs like marketing)

the "perfect blocking" is getting somebody to hit you while you are blocking, then unblocking and hoping they hit you again after you unblock. if you dont unblock fast enough you wont get the effect.

Hello, “Former Head Of Staff” from the old Sakura Stand game who is now forgotten in this game. I have to come out and say that the new community has it’s downsides and has barely changed at all. There’s new staff, new people and a totally different community which is great from old Sakura stand which is around 20 people to now around 1k people.
If there’s anything you’d like to know about Sakura stand... well, I’m here to ask if you have any questions. Also, I hate some of the new staff, most of them are lazy as hell.
Community: It’s weird as always, but the main discord server is more weirder than the trade server.
Staff: There’s been some pictures of some staff being racist and saying Slurs and such. (Yeah, I have no reason to blame for that)
The actual game: Grind until you get anything rare. Whatever comes out is the new “rarest thing” for the next 1-2 days then it becomes totally fucking dog shit in it’s value.
Overall: Should you play Sakura stand? No. They recently featured this mastery system and also added a some sort of 2x exp mastery gamepass for around 1599. It seems like Sakura stand is more or less becoming a p2w game or waste your life simulator.

Be glad you left. That place is a hell pit. I was active there for a while but when I found out the owner made minor nsfw and said racial slurs I just gave up completely.
@@MegMew I'm not too sure of the staff team at this point, But I do feel like they're trying their best to squish in people from around the world to onto their team. I was one of the people on the old staff team who was the only person who didn't know too much Thai. The Staff team consists of mostly Thai people (If you didn't know), I'm not too sure about this "orl" guy but I think you might be talking about Epix (Not sure if this correlates at all.) But in the past, there were times where other staff members would hate on other people but not for the reason of their language but for something they did.
@@DW9427 I forcefully left because I was burnt-out from my job as a Head of Staff and most of the people who supported me, now hated me and they said I changed. Corruption and power abuse came over me and when I left, I became myself again and just a normal person just trying to blend in with the others. The place truly is something else, I'm friends with the owner (If you're talking about Fate which is the developer who made those minor nsfw) He's weird like that and I'm not sure what provoked him to do minor nsfw. Fate also says racial slurs from time to time, but you'd have to take to an account on the other staff members too. There has been a video around about Sakura Stand's moderation team about some of them saying racial slurs and such, I recommend watching that for further information on why I truly left the staff team. TrapShots has changed for the better now, Escorp is now a person who drinks, and coffee is just a person who says racial slurs to anyone that fucks with him, and Syn just comes and goes. I could go on, but this would take longer than I imagined.

Here is my personal experience on Sakura Stand:
1. Horrible Grind, the grind on this game IS HORRIBLE, it took me 3 hours, 3 HOURS to get Anubis not only that, there is this item called the mochi fruit and you get it by waiting 45 MINUTES with a one out of five chances, It’s not even guaranteed, and to get True Anubis, you need to win *100 1V1’S* I’m not joking, it takes THAT LONG to get an evolved stand
2. Shitty combat, the combat is like Aut’s but way worst, ur moves out of nowhere will just become 5-10 seconds delayed for NO ABSOLUTE REASON, its horrible, and ur moves are hella slow as well and dont get me started with the annoying sound effects overall, you’d have to hate yourself to even try out this games combat
3. Toxic Staff, self explanatory, racial slurs here and there, thinks ur inferior, and doesn’t care about their community
That’s basically my personal experience with Sakura Stand, overall it’s a fucking horrible game and should cease to exist, no I MEAN SHOULD NOT EXIST AT ALL TO BEGIN WITH

Yeah. There are ZERO testers in the entire game. I've heard that the Alpha Tester role that you see some players have is BS too. The limited specs are literally the only reason people pick up the game again.

Hey eclipse, I suggest you to play project heritage. It's really fun with it's more pvp focused game and with unique mechanics you don't normally see in a Jojo game. And a very customizable settings menu.

Eclipse should play a decent game that has decent combat like Soul War, because the bots AREN'T BRAINDEAD, AND CAN ACTUALLY BLOCK. The controls are in the description, but it doesn't really say where to go. It's kinda a find where to go kind of game.

As an average Sakura Stand enjoyer, yes its very VERY shit at times because of its balancing and ridiculous combos like I could be enjoying the game using a regular stand in 1v1's but get shat on by Toji's and etc but overall... I generally enjoy the game atleast for me that is.

As a player who regularity plays this game, the only reason I still do is because it's fun bullying the great amount of 5 year old children with literally the worst stands (valid reason)

Sakura stand having the worst pvp experence you could EVER found in the jojo game history, even worst than YBA, simply because how unfair the PVP can be, imagine having half of your health GONE in 1 combo, a single fucking combo, and you're almost gone! and they just start spamming m1 and play cooldown, and then do the combo again, you're done.
besides that, I like the effects, stands design, and most skins, and active updates (still alot of bugs) but over all, it wasn't THAT bad, I would consider it better than AUT currently.
